First time at Culver's and WOW--we're visiting from Hawaii, and this place blew us away! The food was great, but what really made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. We kept looking at each other like, "Why isn't it like this back home?!" They greeted us with big smiles, were super patient while we asked a bunch of questions (first timers!), and checked in on us after we sat down like we were regulars. That kind of hospitality makes such a difference and really stood out. We tried the ButterBurger and frozen custard--everything was delicious and fresh. You can tell this place takes pride in both their food and their service. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Placed an online pick-up order a couple months back. My cod dinner was missing both sides. I noticed this after i served my family their meals. Contacted culvers right away, they said they could give us the sides if we drove back to Longmont or they could mail us coupons for a replacement dinner. It's a franchise of sorts, so you kind of know what your getting. I would say that the really credit to this location goes to the owners because whatever they are doing is working. The employees at this location are always super positive and nice. So yes, there are price inputs that are somewhat out of their control given they are buying it from some corporate supplier, so you can't fault them there. So the credit goes to management doing something right with employees as they are always very kind to myself and my family. read more

Even I - as addicted as I am to MSG-filled slop - could not rationalize paying that much. For a fast food restaurant, I do recommend Culver's. They actually have a very decent selection for their menu with signature meals, such as their Atlantic cod, or their walleye. Their butter burgers are made fresh, and I believe they do compare to some of the other fast food restaurants, such as Wendy's and or Freddy's. When I go, it's usually fairly busy and the drive-through is always busy impact. Service is relatively fast and they do bring your meal to you after you order. I was on my way to Sam's club so I thought I better not go there on an empty stomach or I would buy too many groceries. I saw Culver's as I pulled in and thought ok I haven't been there before and the parking lot had lots of customer cars so I surmised it must be ok. The place was clean and very busy but I placed my order quickly. I ordered a double deluxe basket with a chocolate shake instead of a soda. I was handed a number placard and told my order would be delivered to my table shortly. They told the truth it was only about 5 minutes before my order was delivered. The burger was very good, it's a butter burger after all. The fries were ok and the chocolate shake was real good, chocolaty and thick. The prices were reasonable and I think I would eat at Culver's again if it got in my way when I was hungry. read more

Since January, 2024 this location now has a new owner. I don't know if that and/or new management is responsible, but my visits since then have all been PERFECT. The buns are no longer hard from sitting under the warmer too long. The pot roast sandwich is no longer cold. The small containers of cheese sauce are still a little misshapen from either the warmer or the microwave, but not too bad. Finally, the frozen custard tastes a little creamier. I'm still quite unhappy about the shift from Pepsi products to Coke, but at least the Diet Root Beer is still there (I still think they need to make it available in purchase in gallon sizes like A&W.) The biggest issue now is... the price. I got a Pot Roast sandwich basket, a single scoop of frozen custard, a cup of cheese sauce and I wanted to try the chicken fingers so got a small order. Total was over $30(!). For that I can go to a sit-down restaurant. I know the costs aren't their fault, but they are kind of pricing out of the quick service restaurant market at $30 for ONE. read more

I love Culvers, I put Culvers in the same category as Chic-fil-A, well run, courteous, friendly people, and great food. Unlike the other franchises, when you patronize them you can usually tell that most of the staff are not happy working there, a lot of times orders are fouled up, and it is plainly not a good experience. How refreshing is it when people actually greet you with a smile , and really pay attention not only on your order but come over to see if everything is good, and if they can get you anything else! This is what I have experienced in every Culvers that I have visited, It's a shame that New Jersey doesn't have any. read more

The #1 Culver's Deluxe (double) with cheese is a must try! You need to order ketchup & mustard otherwise it doesn't come with. Your sides are sweet potato fries, crinkle fries or onion rings. I had an order of the onion rings which was my first time trying them. So crispy, fried and delicious! I may have to get an extra side of the regular crinkle fries next. I'm not a fan of sweet potato fries, guess I never grew up on them so maybe that's why. My hubby and I didn't wait long to be helped. Why rush the grilling of a yummy juicy patty of perfection?!? When the kids are with, each kid meal comes with a free custard ice cream! You can save them up or get your treat right after you eat! When you try it, be patient if you have to wait. As far as Culver's go I would say this one is pretty narrow down the middle of average to what I would expect and assume I would get from a Culvers. The staff is usually pretty nice and patient when you're making the ultimate customized order, and I haven't run into any issues with the staff. The food is pretty much the average thing here, which isn't to say that its bad its just not as good as it can be. I have had better food from Culver's in both preparation and quality of food. Quite often if not every time the cheese curds are luke warm and not really hot and melty as I have had before, and the burgers seem like they are using what I want to call abused toppings including the buns. Like they are all smashed and flat with no life left in the buns and the lettuce and tomatoes clearly have been sitting out for a while having lost their firmness. Biting into a burger I expect to see the sauce dripping out (ketchup, ranch, etc.) not tomato water from old tomatoes. Makes everything even more soggy and just not really enjoyable. That all being said, Culver's as a whole has really amazing frozen custard to which I have never had bad from this location. Its always pretty perfect and rich in flavor. The cheese curds barring them being cold are also really fantastic and easy to take come and make scalding hot and gooey should you wish it. For the burgers the trick I have discovered is to just avoid going inside and get a burger with no lettuce or tomatoes and just take it home to add your own, once you do that with a little self doctoring the burgers are pretty great (the meat, cheese, and seasonings are really good always) read more

Culver's is ABSOLUTELY my favorite fast food place. I just moved from Oklahoma, and only knew of Culver's from my trips to Missouri. It was my go-to place every time I was there. Now that I've moved to Longmont, there's one right down the street from me! I am so excited. Their spicy chicken (not the Buffalo) is fantastic! I'm a big baby with spice, and this was just right! Their patty melts and burgers are great, too! You can't go wrong with their cheese curds (to die for), and their Oreo concrete! This place is literally the first cousin of Chick-Fil-A when it comes to cleanliness, friendliness, and fast service! Their oil that they use to fry tastes fresh daily, and doesn't feel like old grease. It feels so much better after you've eaten than some other places. read more

I don't like to leave bad reviews but I think this store needs some critical feedback in order to improve. I also want to preface this by saying that the staff works hard and I think upper management has put emphasis on the wrong priorities here. They've messed up our order about 8 of the 10 times we've been since moving to Longmont. Once, we let the runner know and they brought out the "correction" wrong too. You cannot leave this place without checking your bag; whether it's a kid's apple juice (most common mistake), a dipping sauce, missing items, or entirely incorrect sandwich toppings, you need to check before driving off. I had to go in once because of multiple mess-ups and it was pure chaos in there - about 20 soft drinks next to the counter and the person bagging had almost no support up front. When I finally left, I passed a man walking back inside with his bag too. There is also no reason to not hand out soft drinks at the drive thru window. I know the drive thru times are important to staff here, but you're sacrificing accuracy for them and giving food runners and baggers even more of a burden by doing it this way. There's typically a drink station right by the window and two employees working the drive thru anyways. This is the only location that does this. We sit waiting for the food after the window for 10 minutes sometimes. As someone who worked in food for many years, you can tell when a store is sacrificing customer experience for stats & speed. I love Culver's, and the staff is generally friendly, but it's dropped on our dining list because of how messy and unreliable the experience is. read more

We were visiting Longmont today and decided to try Culver's since we don't have this hamburger chain in our local area. The customer service was good - the employees were friendly and the food came out promptly. The restaurant was clean and looked fairly new. We each ordered a hamburger since Culver's is supposedly known for their butter burgers. We also had onion rings - they were good and the large quantity was a deal for the $1.30 price. Unfortunately our hamburgers were some of the worst we've eaten at a casual fast-food restaurant. The burger patties were overcooked, dry and tasteless - definitely no butter taste. The bun was stale and dry. Overall the hamburgers were a bust - we'd rate them below a McD's quarter pounder or Wendy's double - which we stopped eating years ago due to poor quality. The prices are well above competitors like In-and-Out ($24 for the 2 of us) for a lower quality product. read more

What a terrible experience. I'm from WI and living in CO now, so Culver's is a taste of home for me. Tonight I went to the Longmont location, and they managed to screw just about EVERYTHING up. The place was slammed and the staff seemed SO confused. Lots of chickens running around with no heads on. I was given my food and I asked where my pint of custard and my concrete mixer were. The staff member just said "someone else will bring it to you, I don't know." So I stood there and waited and waited and waited and waited, my food (to go order) getting cold. Finally, after about 10 minutes I asked again, I someone pointed over where the hot food comes out. Sure enough, there was my custard, just sitting there for over 10 minutes. My food was DEAD cold and my custard was mostly melted. I mentioned this and the person just said "sorry" and walked away. I asked if she could do anything and she said "not really." So my food is cold, my custard is liquid (seriously, I drank half of the concrete mixer through a small straw in the car) and I get home to find that my fries are just disgusting AND they gave me the wrong burger. So. $20 of food? Very, very little of it was even edible. What a terrible experience. Cold (and wrong!) food, warm custard, rude staff. What a waste of my time and money. read more

My Culver's experience was most excellent. When I laid eyes on the menu, lo and behold, a wave of pure delight washed over my soul, yea, filled my entire being. I encounter Mars, who just happens to be the most phenomenal cashier in the history of cashiers. A short time later, an employee approaches the table bearing a tray with the most fantastic feast, definitely one of the feasts of all time. The establishment also offers a generous military discount. I fear that my eloquence is insufficient to fully describe the majesty of this diner. But alas, my tale has come to an end. I really enjoy coming to the Culver's on Hover. The food always comes out hot and and everyone is always friendly. I usually have my Newfie puppy in the car with me and he is always given treats and loved by the staff. We just came though the drive thru and again the staff was really friendly. It was busy and I got my drink and pulled into a spot to wait for my food. I ordered an ice tea and was accidentally given a Dr. Pepper. My husband and I were so excited when we tasted Culver's bacon burger with mushrooms. The first 2 times we ordered, the burgers were great and then the next 3 times the burgers were cold and 2 of those times, they forgot to add the mushrooms. WE mentioned the issue to the Manager who gets a zero for customer service as her response to all of their errors was to say that she would talk to the kitchen. What a joke! No offer to makeup for their lack of providing what we paid for - no I am so very sorry how can I make up for what we did - no taking responsibility for their actions - no care at all for the customer. I've eaten at a couple of different Culver's. I'm from out of town and I should have known I was in trouble based on the length of the drive through line. The guy kept messing up my order (butter burger with everything but onion isn't hard) but he said his computer was acting up so I let it slide. Got to the window and the manager helped him finish putting in my order and asked what I wanted for my free ice cream tokens. I waited for several minutes where three people got their food and I still hadn't gotten my ice cream. I ended up leaving without it because it was just too hot to sit in my car and I didn't want to waste time waiting any further. I've started collecting buttons, the kind that fastens clothing. My specialty is 19th century political candidates. Today, I went to a local button club meeting. Afterwards, I wanted a bite and decided on Culver's. They are new around here. I saw a TV ad schlepping the fish sandwich and gave it a try. It was as advertised - a good piece of cod, not a fish patty. The meal deal was $9.00, but the sandwich quality was worth it. Culver's has a root beer that was good. I got a cup of the custard for $3.25 and made a float. The custard is superior to soft serve. Next month after button club I'll try a burger. read more

My wife and I regularly order a butter burger with bacon add mushrooms. For the last three visits the burgers have been cold. First time the fries were piping hot, burgers cold. Second and third time the burgers were cold and not even the cheese had melted and on the last one they did not bother to add the mushrooms although I was charged. I went to the store to point this out and got worse than the burgers. I was told by the manager she would have a word with the kitchen staff to make sure they stop doing this, have a nice day. You don't deliver the order as paid for and you will have a word with the kitchen staff. I would have thought unless your staff are incompetent that a freshly made burger would be still warm.
