It's been a while since I've been to McDonald's, so I decided to try their new burger. My rating: 5 Fehs. If you know Yiddish, you already know what that means. After dropping off my car at the nearby service center, we headed over to McD's for breakfast. Dad wanted his "senior hotcakes" and we decided that if the place wasn't too busy, we would dine in. We had a super experience this morning. First, the parking lot is clean. There was no litter or garbage anywhere. The outside of the restaurant looks good and is maintained. Inside, absolutely clean. No garbage. No trash on any of the tables. The floors were clean and had recently been mopped. The drink and condiment station is closed because of the pandemic. Also, the kiosks are closed. Second, the young lady who took our order was pleasant and efficient. She was wearing her mask properly and the crewmembers we could see working the drive-through and the kitchen area were also wearing them properly. This is important these days! Our breakfast was bagged up and had all the right condiments included. Butter and syrup for the hotcakes, creamers for coffee, an appropriate number of napkins and stirrers. My Egg McMuffin was assembled properly. The large coffee was of course, "McDonald's hot" but cooled down soon enough that I could get a massive caffeine boost from it. There were no other patrons in the dining room the entire time we were here, so we enjoyed our breakfast inside at a table that indicated it had been cleaned recently. Other tables were marked off for social distancing. Yes, five stars for McDonald's in Boynton Beach. Comparing it with other Mickey D's, it was excellent. Frustration is all I can say for this specific McDonalds location. I went yesterday for Cheeseburger day as McD's was offering $.50 dbl cheeseburgers, great deal right?? So off I went to get burgers for my kids. I placed the order thru the app at 7pm and did not arrive to the location until 7:20, I saw the drive thru lane was full so figured it would be quicker to go inside. As I enter, the front desk is deserted, no one in sight yet you can hear all the employees yelling at each other in the back, very unprofessional, but this is McD, what do you expect. I then flagged an employee after waiting 3min and they ask "what's my name", which I provided, they replied back we don't see your order, then she walks away. Another 10min go by and I ask again, to then I was prompted with "what's your name" again, so I provided and then they say oh this is a mobile order and walks away again. Meanwhile, while this is going on, others are also waiting for attention. I then see another employee casually walking around not paying anyone any attention, but we will get back to her. I then wait another 15min with no one coming by the front desk. So now a new customer enters and is waiting at the front desk, no one acknowledges the customer. He then flags someone down who just ignores him. Now back to the casual employee walking around, the customer gets her attention and she goes behind the counter to assist him, after 1 min she then tells him sorry I'm on break and I can't do this and walks away .... I mean WOW...... can't make this up. She then walks to the same employee who asked for my name twice and tells her "can someone help him" (keep in mind the customer is standing right there) and the employee says "why can't he use the kiosk" and then walks away. The customer states that his credit card doesn't work and wants to place an order, the employee walks back and out loud says "tell him to use the kiosk" and again ...... you guess it, walks away. I was like wow, this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The customer left. Now back to my order, this all takes places in the course of 20min, I still haven't received my order and it's already 7:40pm (keep in mind I placed my order online at 7pm). Now perhaps a special order may take time if they were busy, but all I ordered was 2 x dbl cheeseburgers. At this point, a homeless person enters the establishment asking for change, a lady who appeared to be on heroin enters and walks to the back, leaving a bad odor behind her. A few more customers come in and place their order at the kiosk and sit down to wait for their order (if they only knew it will be until Christmas by the time they get their order). At this point it's 7:50 and you guess it no order. I flagged the same employee who then asked me for the 3rd time "what's your name", I responded but by this time I'm super frustrated. I then asked "how much longer" and she says and I am paraphrasing "I'm the only one doing anything, so you have to wait" and rolls her eyes at me. I was about to flip and ask to speak to a manager, but as I look around at the employees, I figured it was not worth it and most likely the same lady is probably the manager. I finally get my 2 x cheeseburgers and walk away, this was close to 8pm (an hour later from when I originally placed my order). This was an unreal experience, I don't think I have ever witnessed customer service like this, they simply did not care and through the 40min I was standing there, all the employees were yelling at each other in the back. I will never go to this location ever again. I am tempted to write a letter to corporate because no one should be treated like this. read more

Look, I think we can all agree that NONE of us go to McDonald's for delicious gourmet food. But sometimes when my kids want it, I capitulate and get it for them. I had the unfortunate experience to be here twice in 2 days, due to my hungry teenage sons. I am blown away by how poorly this store is managed / run! Yesterday, the drive-thru didn't seem to be moving at all, so I went into the store. Another customer and I were chatting for a full 15 minutes before somebody could come over and take our order with as much attitude as they could muster. The ordering kiosks were turned off, so we were literally at their mercy of when they decided to walk over to a register and take our order. Because I had such a long wait time, I had a lot of time to observe the chaos in the kitchen. Not working mind you, just laughing and joking around with each other and playing grab ass. Not one employee had gloves or a hairnet on! Disgusting! If it weren't for my begging teenage sons, I would have left because of that alone. Tonight was the same thing. I waited for a full 7 minutes before I asked if anyone could take my order. This nasty girl said "I ain't got time to wait on you use the damn kiosk!" (Which happened to be operational tonight but I did not notice since it wasn't working the night before) And she stormed off to the restroom. But again, no gloves or hair nets. There are a million fast food places to choose from, and I can guarantee that the next time my kids ask for McDonald's, I will urge them to pick one that treats their customers with some respect. This location is not near my home. The one near my home, makes horrible fries plus their customer service is terrible as well (Boynton and Jog). This McDonald's is on Boynton and Military. I ate McDonalds after a few months but since we were running errands, we decided to eat inside. I don't remember when was the last time I ate inside a McDonald's in the US. Customer service was great, they remodeled the inside with touch screen order machines as well. The food came out quick and fresh. I ordered fries and fish filet sandwich. I have never been to a fast food place with worse customer service. I placed a mobile order for pickup and upon arrival was told that "you ordered something we don't have." I said no worries, I'll just take a refund for that item. I was immediately told "I can't refund you. I can give you something else, but you didn't pay here so I can't refund you." Mind you, I paid with the McDonald's App, and on the app it says any issues with your order, including refunds, need to be taken up with the store you purchased at. The gentleman at the speaker just walk away and stopped talking with us, so we pulled up to the window. He then rudely came to the window and tried to tell us the only thing he could do was give us another item. I told him respectfully that was untrue, and he immediately cut me off and said "are you calling me a lair?" And then walked off again. He came back and handed my wife our food and just walked away. It is a shame that this location spent the money on the fancy screens at the drive through to ensure order accuracy, but the preparers apparently don't use it. Just left and of 3 orders, the only one not messed up was my daughter happy meal. Thank you for that at least. I ordered two triple cheese burgers with not ketchup or mustard and add Big Mac sauce and I ordered a buttermilk chicken sandwich with no lettuce. I received two triple cheeseburgers with ketchup and so much mac sauce that the bun fell apart and a chicken sandwich with nothing besides Way too much mayo. This is not the first time. About once a week I get my daughter a biscuit on our way to school. Half the time we receive a McGriddle. From now on I will likely go to gateway and congress location for my McDonald's fix. read more

After a long travel day from Calif to Florida, with few options for a snack at midnight...I went through the drive thru at McDonalds. Zeus asked if I could hold ?? I could see there were 5 cars that were in front of me and guessed that at the late hour they were short staffed. When he did take my order he was polite and knew the menu options, so it was easy. I asked if he could ensure everything was made fresh, which he said no problem. It took a few extra minutes but when I did get my order it was perfect. In fact it actually looked like the images in the menu board and had those classic McD's fries. Nice job to Zeus and the team that works late, handles lots of difficult late night clients but keeps a positive attitude. Thanks for the great food. So first a disclaimer. I went to this McDonald's in late 2017 and have not been back since so maybe things have changed in the interim. My review is based upon what I saw when I went. I have to say this is the dirtiest McDonald's I have been to. My feet were sticking to the floor. The counter where you pick up the food was dirty and, at one point, someone put a bottle of cleaning fluid on it. The condiment station was a disgusting mess. The whole place, including, the areas behind the counters where the employees worked looked like a disaster area. This is the only time I have been to a restaurant and felt compelled to say something while there asking them how they could let the place get so dirty. Don't believe me? This McD's is always slammed. Probably because the other location on Jog RD is terribly slow even without a crowd. I once placed a curbside order here and waited 17 minutes for pickup. This McDonald's restaurant was Covid-19 Non-Compliant on Monday, 10/12/2020 @ 9:30pm. Every employee I encountered at the drive-thru windows wore a disposable mask covering their chin only. At the first window, both the Cashier and her Supervisor, as well as the staff member who handed me my order at the second window were all Non-Compliant. Perhaps if the owners, managers, and supervisors educated their employees on Infectious Disease Protocol and Practiced Proper PPE themselves, compliance should follow. I have never waited so long in the drive thru at ANY fast food restaurant. This McDonalds is the exception. I drove in at almost 6pm on 7/24 and was behind 2 cars. The line was not moving and an employee came out and put cones across the second drive thru line which had 1 car waiting. My line moved up 1 car, the guy in front waited for almost 15 minutes to give his order. When I moved up the woman said to wait, so I did.... wait .... wait... wait. She finally took my order 5 min later. As I got to the window I was told the cost which I couldn't understand what she said, so I asked how much again and she had an attitude and stated the amount in a snotty tone. Geesh! I then waited for my food for almost 20 minutes while watching the employees saunter around at their leisure, meanwhile there were 4 cars behind me. She came back to the window and announced that it would be a few minutes ( more) and gave me my drink. I watched a customer at the counter waiting, she appeared to have a large order. They were not busy inside at all so the hold up was baffling. Now it's 6:34 and I've been there for a good 35 minutes. I was finally handed my food by another female employee. I asked her nicely if they had to pluck the chicken first. We both laughed but seriously 35 minutes in the drive thru??! Where was the manager? This place seems to be very unorganized and lacking motivation and a sense of urgency. I don't even know what the problem was nor did anyone apologize. Employees need to be fired or retrained. A lot of people are biased against fast food joints especially some snobby Yelpers it seems, however a couple of points here. Fast food establishments are providing food at an affordable price to almost everyone. It is a staple for some unfortunates unfortunately. Personally I cannot count the number of times over the years I have been down to change where the dollar menu at McDonalds, Burger King or Wendy's pretty much saved me from starving. Especially late night when nothing is open and all you have at home are peanut butter crackers. So when I got the coupons recently in some mailer to try out the new Big Mac line I knew there would be a time when it would come in handy like after I have had several beers but forgot to eat and yup there was nothing at home that didn't require some prep. Last night was the night and on my way home from Thirsty Thursday I went to the McDonald which just happens to be across the street from me. For 2 dollars and change I had 2 Big Mac Jr's. Now that I am doing well 2 for 1's and/or famished are probably the only way that I am going to McDonalds and truth be known I avoid fast food as much as humanely possible. Face it, it is not high quality cuisine and basically unhealthy but like I said it does have a purpose. And being honest again here the Big Mac has a familiar and predictable taste that actually hits the spot. Reminds me of my childhood when dad would drive me to McDonalds and we would get 4 Big Macs and 4 large fries for our family treat. Maybe it's the secret sauce with preservatives from the McChem lab not sure but it was good as I ever remembered. This particular McDonalds is super clean, spacious, has good parking and from what I experienced good service. The girl who took my order was really cute and friendly albeit a bit young for me but hey I'm just lookin'. I can say for certain I will be back it is just a matter of time when I will be once again be on my way home and in need of something / anything and for the price this sandwich is a pretty good deal. This McDonalds had good service, but just like many McDonalds, they do not know how to process an order with the pay by app feature. I realize that this is a new feature, but McDonalds needs to do a better job training their employees. Also, when I speak to a manager about this issue, the managers always have an attitude and blame the customer. This has happened at multiple locations in the Palm Beach County are in Florida. I want to start off by saying I would never write a review or give any business a 1 star rating unless it was really really bad. That was the situation at this McDonalds. The food at McDonalds is always the same and you know that going in, so this complaint is about the extremely rude and demeaning staff that is employed at this location. My husband and I went to the drive through and since we have the McDonalds App we had a coupon code for 20% off the purchase. My husband has the app linked to our checking account so when he gives the code the cashier and the purchase automatically gets subtracted from the account. When we got to the window he was told the app didn't go through and he would have to come inside the store. He went inside and showed them the transaction did go through and all he wanted was the 20% off. They were extremely rude and made uncalled for comments to him. They ran the transaction again with the 20% off and it also showed it went through. When he asked to speak to a manager the cashier refused to give her name. Then a women who had already been part of the transaction said she was the manager and was also very rude. He asked for the owners name and information and they refused to give it to him. It turns out that our checking account was charged twice for the same transaction and not only did the staff and manager not believe him they were so unprofessional and demeaning. I am trying to find the owners information online, so far, with no success. I will eventually find it and report the staff, but now I have to get in touch with my bank to dispute this charge. All this because my husband wanted an Egg McMuffin and Coffee!!! read more

I am not a big fan of McDonald's. It has been forever since I have been to one. However, something about little kids lovin' Happy Meals. I was hoping my little cousins who are the age of 2 and 6 would choose another place but the first thing they asked when I picked them up was "are we going to get a happy meal?" of course I could not say no. So here we go. Back in the day I believe this McDonalds had a playground area but it was recently renovated and they made it super nice bit no playground for kids. My little cousins were not happy about this. When we got there it was nice to see how clean and new everything looked. To my surprise on Monday's and Wednesday's they have a special for happy meals! $1.99 each. I wasn't too sure what to get since I really don't eat here so I settled for a chicken wrap with ranch dressing. It had way to much ranch dressing. Yuck. I couldn't finish it. I did manage to steal a chicken nugget from my cousin though. Those were really good. The staff here are super friendly and keep they place very clean. They had a small table with Despicable Me 2 toys, crayons, and coloring sheets for the kids. read more

On my most recent visit to my hometown, I stopped into this McDonald's to use their free wifi. Whoa. They remodeled. There are TVs EVERYWHERE. Seeing things from my childhood change is always weird for me. But anyway, I won't lie, I gave this place four stars because of the countless childhood memories I have here. Like, I had a birthday party here. There are home videos to prove it. I don't know if they do birthday parties anymore, considering that was probably about fifteen years ago, but, hey, it was pretty cool at the time. Oh man, and I remember another time where a very accommodating employee gave my high school boyfriend a sundae cup full of McFlurry for free saying "It's cool, I got you, I got you!" Why is it that they alway short you your change? They do not give you a receipt This happens almost every time I go there. Why can't they see how much change the register does it for them. This McDonald's is usually my go to stop after work for lunch and I didn't always have problems, but recently the service has been terrible. The person taking our order got a really bad attitude almost instantly. He got mad when I asked for a second to decide what I wanted, and when I ordered it's like he wasn't even listening.
