In firehouse Subs I like their Tuna sub. I did an order online and they processed it fairly quickly. I added some additional toppings like sautéed mushrooms that tasted really good. The sub it self was pretty good with the bread being fresh and the tuna quality was good. The seasoning was alittle less but I added some more salt and pepper when I got home. My order was a pick up order due to covid I'm not dining at restaurants for the most part it's just pick up orders. However they do have a dining area and it's clean and when I was there only one patron was sitting and eating. It seems like most people are getting orders delivered or getting picked up. This is more of a review of FH in general and not necessarily this location. Their steak and cheese is mediocre at best. It tastes like the same meat as Subway but a little sweeter (which did not enhance it). I really wish they would leave a hinge on the bread, when I picked it up and as I held it, so much stuff fell out. It needed a third side to help keep everything in. It was just a mess. I'm not going to rush back to a FH Subs anytime soon. read more

I was just at this location and pretty much everything was wrong with this store. My online order was completely wrong. I paid additional for additional toppings which were not put on my sub. The restaurant was very dirty and nasty. The staff were rude, no 'welcome to firehouse' it was more like a blank stare while I looked for my online order on the counter. The drink station was nasty and the floor had a puddle near the drinks. I want my money back for receiving the incorrect order. read more

Well I ordered a steak and cheese with grilled onions only. Impressed with size and overall quality. I would go again except for a small detail. They have NO pepper relish or hot peppers at all. That's just crazy for any sub shop to not carry pepper relish. Oh well guess I expect too much in a pandemic. read more

This was our first visit to a Firehouse Subs. Overall, our experience was mixed at this franchise operation. The menu listed a variety of cleverly named subs. I ordered the NY Steamer, which consisted of corned beef, pastrami, melted provolone, deli mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing. The ratio of ingredients to bread seemed about right and the meats were well seasoned. A nice sub! My only disappointment was that the only bread choices were white and wheat. Maybe I've been spoiled by the range of choices at Subway. I selected the white bread, which was fresh and had a good taste. My wife chose the "create your own" option rather than selecting one of the listed subs. She asked for turkey, provolone cheese and cranberry sauce. Sadly, the cashier failed to include the provolone on the order, so the sub was not as satisfying as it could have been. Also, the turkey was a thin sliced, highly processed meat with a strong saltiness. Disappointing. The cashier politely asked if we wanted the combo meal with drink and a side (chips or a cookie were the default options, with other options such as chili or a salad being available for an additional charge.) We refused the upsell attempt and appreciated that the cashier wasn't too pushy. Many bottles of hot sauce lined the counter for our use if we wanted to turn up the heat. Only a few were labeled with the Firehouse heat index (1 to 10), so we chose not to risk an unknown amount of spiciness. And the bottles were generally sticky and kind of gross to touch. We asked that our order be packaged to go, and we were pleased to see that no plastic was used in the packaging. The sub boxes were cardboard and the carry out bag was paper. Kudos to Firehouse Subs for being environmentally friendly. We did have one more unpleasant surprise when we opened our subs. Hidden beneath the paper lining in the box was a pickle spear. My wife dislikes pickles and the pickle juice tainted the taste of her sub. More disappointment. Will we return? There are plenty of other sub shops around town that we will likely visit first. We do appreciate that Firehouse Subs supports first responders, and for that reason, we'll probably give them another try at some point. read more

This place used to be good. The employees were helpful at least. This will be my last time going to this location. My order was incorrect, but was not going back. The person behind the counter tried to help at first but spoke no English but told me to point to the board. I was ordering for children. I had special requests arhat he couldn't understand. Been here a few times since they opened. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating in spite of my bratty kids. We used a bunch of those Palm Beach County coupons from the book and they honored all of them. We had everything from pastrami to ham and they were all delicious. The kids really liked the cookies and the sweet tea is outstanding. Since this is a new store everything was clean and there were more than enough employees so no waiting around. There are also some flat screen tv's for sports but you need to know which channel you need it on. Recommended making the extra drive to this location vs. some of the firehouse locations. Update - went again a few times to use the rest of my palm beach book coupons. Keep getting the club on a sub which is heaven in a sandwich. With the kids meals I got the option once of having a brownie instead of the crappy rice krispie treat, so make sure to ask if you can get one. Paige helped me out and seems like an all-star employee. Good customer service, has a personality/demeanor that makes you feel very welcomed as a visitor, and was multi-tasking duties like a champ. read more

This continues to be one of the worst run locations in the region. Employees mostly ok/friendly but some don't acknowledge customer. Very slow to make simple sandwiches, even when not busy. Out of ingredients like tomestoes, pickles, lettuce, etc. but doesn't advise customers/offer substitutions, just leaves it out of order! read more

I went with my wife yesterday to Fiehouse Subs. The store itself is clean and roomy. We ordered two subs for dinner a hook and ladder sub and a New York steamer sub with a bowl of chili.Both of the subs were excellent as was the chili. The servers were both friendly and helpful making the visit a enjoyable experence.I have been to many sub shops but Firehouse subs is among the best.The price to value ratio as well as portion size is around average for this type of restaurant.All in all this was an excellent experience and I will be returning in the near future. read more

I just went to Firehouse Subs for the first time. The restaurant was clean very inviting very colorful and smell delicious when I went up to the cashier to place my order she explained what was on each sub gave me a takeout menu we ordered the meatball sub and the traditional hook and ladder I'm not a sub girl but I was licking my fingers after finishing my medium Sub. The food was incredibly fresh made right in front of us the meatball sub came out with the cheese or bubbly and yummy. There are many Subs here many ways you can get platters and salads all different kinds of soda all different kinds of chips truly a great place to go for lunch not a bad place to go for dinner although it would not be a fancy dinner but it would absolutely be worth the trip read more

Awful customer service!! We ordered 4 sandwiches for delivery in attempt to help out local businesses and they totally screwed up our order. They incorrectly made one sandwich and one sandwich was missing all together. I called for a refund for the messed up sandwiches and the manager refused to give me one. He told me to drive to the restaurant and bring it back which totally defeats the purpose of delivery not to mention that the restaurant was scheduled to close in 20 mins and I would never make it there in time. Came here for lunch today for the first time instead of my usual Firehouse, the staff was courteous and patient, and even pointed out that by changing my order slightly I could take advantage of a special offer. The food was prepared quickly and exactly as ordered and was as fresh and delicious as I expect from a Firehouse Subs, which is pretty darn good. I don't know if I got lucky or if some of the other reviewers were unlucky, but I absolutely plan to come here again. read more

This was our first time at a firehouse sub place. This four star review is for service and I hope the manager sees this review. At noon we stopped in to pick up a sandwich to bring with us to the beach. We ordered an Italian sub to go and asked for no onions. At the beach we opened it up, took one bite and were totally disappointed because the sandwich had mayonnaise on it. Who puts mayo on an Italian sub?? Yuck. Not edible. At 4 pm on our way home I stopped back in and explained the problem and asked for a replacement. I gave the guy behind the counter the uneaten sandwich and my receipt from earlier today. He apologized and made me a new sandwich sans mayo. He was quick to act and did not give me a hard time at all. While I waited for my replacement sandwich, I read over the menu. Lo and behold the menu describes the Italian sub as being "fully involved". Looking further I read that fully involved means lettuce tomato onion and mayonnaise. Now mayo should never go near an Italian sub but the error was all mine and not theirs. The employee did not point out my error as he may have done. Instead of creating a really dissatisfied customer he made a fine first time impression. My only (obvious) suggestion is.......get mayo off of your Italian sandwich! read more
