One thing about the McDonald's brand should be consistency. No matter where you are in the country, consistency. One thing I love about McDonald's is their coffee. When I'm traveling, I will frequently swing through McD's on my way in to wherever I'm working that week for a large black coffee. This morning, the coffee at this location close to my hotel had no scent, and no taste, it was literally hot black water. This McD's is connected to a gas station so I don't know if that had anything to do with it, but regardless, I dumped it and went to another McD's closer to my work location and their coffee is what I am used to from McDonald's. read more

The worst service ever. You literally wait 10+ minutes every time you order from this location regardless of the time of day. It seems either there is no management training people in their standard work or there is just no sense of urgency. If I were the owner or upper management, I would be embarrassed. Ordered on the McDonalds app. Once arrived there were 2 vehicles a head of me in the drive thru. Took 40min in the drive thru and me walking inside to get our food. Was 30min from the time I pulled into the drive thru and got to the food pick up window. At the window the employee said was just waiting on fresh chicken nuggets and to pull ahead. After 10 minutes of waiting I went inside. I requested a refund instead of the food from the manager. She proceeded to just get our food order. I told her I wanted a refund and not the food. She said they were short staffed. She offered to get a couple of free sandwich coupons. I declined the coupons as I will never return and walked out. The food was luke warm and disgusting. A waste of time and money. We rarely eat fast food and thought we'd give McDonald's a try as that is what the kids really wanted. I sent an e-mail to headquarters only to get some random generic response. Zero out of 10 services we walked in past 7 o'clock and we are starting to order and on the online ordering machine the manager comes up to me and my friend and tells us there lobby closes at 7 which i didn't know because there wasn't a sign on the door and was unlocked then she can proceeds to ask us if we have a car and we say yes and we are just ordering a two Dr Pepper's then in a rude tone tells us that we have to leave and that we cannot order and then I walk out and I tell her that she was being rude and she tells me that I came and go through her drive-through because I just wanted two Dr. peppers. very disappointed in the costumer service especially because she was the manager read more

It's small and attached to a gas station. The store isn't very big but as a nice seating area to eat and hang out if your traveling. You can also buy gas and snacks at the connected store the bathroom is small and not clean but the McDonald's was clean and the staff nice read more

Wow! We were blown away by the customer service at this McDonalds. We are not typically McDonalds customers but due to a snow storm we had to stop in to wait it out. Boy! We were glad we stopped. The manager on duty was super friendly and helpful. We got a piping fresh hot coffee and it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend this place for their awesome staff. read more

I got stranded in this McDonald's in the midst of a blizzard in March. Everyone was very kind and they periodically gave everyone free coffee refills. The manager was very nice (and didn't kick us out even though we were using their wifi for hours). Definitely the best McDonald's in Brandon, SD! read more

This McDonalds is a shame. First, they get your order right about 30% of the time. Generally they forget something or prepare it incorrectly. Occasionally, you get lucky and you get an upgraded sandwich from the one you ordered, but that almost never happens. They constantly ask you to pull up as your food isn't ready. Order more than 1 fried item like chicken nuggets and crispy sandwich and you have to pull forward. Every. Single. Time. The fries are rarely salted. They taste blah. The coke doesn't taste right. At first, I assumed they hadn't put in the proper amount of carbonation, but after a few times there I realized that's just how its made. It's like they are trying to save money by making super weak almost unrecognizable coke. There are also flies EVERYWHERE. The second you open your window to pay or get your food, 3 or 4 of them swoop into your car. I've seen them fly out of their window and straight into my vehicle - it is DISCUSTING! Everything they make is done poorly. Cheeseburgers arrived covered in grease, Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits' contents only reach the full point 10% of the time, sandwiches are dry! You can open a sandwich and find a dimes worth of mayo or sauce squirted in one lone corner of your sandwich. On the upside, they have fairly good customer service. They people at the window are usually friendly, but unfortunately that does not make up for the constant disappointment when you eat there. For such a small town, with limited options, it is a crying shame that going there requires a fair amount of calming breaths and getting out of your car to replace the items they got incorrectly. read more
