Below average 24 hour McDonald's very close to I-95 in south Georgia. We stopped at about 2 a.m. on a Friday morning driving north. Dirty bathrooms with no toilet tissue in women's restroom. Men's room had toilet paper all over the floor. Coffee was improperly made - I asked for 3 cream and 2 sugar in my large coffee. Beverage was much sweeter. I only stop at McDonald's on road trips to strange states (can always trust the generic marginal acceptablility of a quarter pounder), and this one is the best I have ever been to! The fries were crisp and fresh, the burger also "fresh" and well assembled. This is key. So many Mackie Doo sandwiches are thrown together and no consistency of pickles to condiments to burger...but these kids know how to do their job, and seem to respect the corporate process. We sat in the car since I a) don't like to eat and drive, and b) I don't like eating inside the place even more. Next time I'm in the deep south, I will come here (or not) for my fresh fried potatoes and pre-pressed factory farm burgers! read more

Went through drive thru at 9:00. The gentleman at the window just started handing me drinks and I asked if I could have a drink tray. He looked at me and said no. I did get ugly with him and had some words but he came back with "what's your problem Bitch". That's when I went off. The manager came to the window and said they didn't have any drink holders. I understand that, but that's all the dude had to say, not "no". Then I was told by the manager not to come back because they wouldn't serve me anymore. Just ordered a large fry and small coke for a snack in the early afternoon. I had skipped lunch and it was just 4 pm so to early for dinner. Horrible experience! After waiting 10 min in the drive-thru line with no luck, I decided to order using the mobile app. I placed my order at 1:29 and my husband had to in to ask where our food was. He walked back to the car food in tow at 1:50. Not only was the wait time not "fast" at all but they were out of several items we ordered, some of which were basic item. They were out of bbq sauce, sweet n sour sauce, napkins, and apple juice. These are only items that were missing from my order, only God knows what else they were out of. I will include a photo of the paper towels that were bawled up and placed in my kids happy meal boxes. We were also up-charged for apple juice ($.25) per happy meal but no one offered a refund when we were told they were out of apple juice. Placed order at 12 am sat in drive thru for 15 minutes for the order I finally gave up and proceeded inside for a refund. I was then told by the manager on duty she could not do a refund. She called the store manager up and was given a code to issue refunds. The store manager then hung up on the manager on duty. The code did not work so I had to wait another 15 minutes inside the store for my order. I received my order around 12:30 and left with receipt. I asked for the corporate number which the MOD did not know it so I asked for the store managers number. I got back to my car and called it thinking it was a business line to leave a message instead it was the store managers personal phone number and I was talked to very rudely. " why the hell are you calling me" is what I was told. I tried to inform her what was going on and then hung up on. I took my food and left, got home and did not eat it at this point. The next day I took my food back up for a refund. I finally got my money back and the corporate phone number. Called corporate at 1:06pm and was told someone would call me back after they reviewed what had happened. Still waiting on a call back from them will update when this happens. read more

I was in here on 7-1-2017 for a late lunch. I ordered the quarter pounder with cheese meal (no onions), medium fries and a large sweet tea. Service was good. People were friendly. The food was HOT and the burger actually tasted like a hamburger. The fries were nice and fresh. The sweet tea was actually sweet. I had to get a refill before I left. I did notice that the restaurant was clean too. The floor was being mopped too. The drink station was tidy. The bathroom was functioning too. Very good. read more

I just left store 22618 - My receipt says order #40, receipt 1340 thru the drive thru. The employees are absolutely ridiculous and RUDE. We are traveling and pulled off to get food for 5 kids and ourselves. The order was missing one small spirite and one small fry. When i let the know 3 members of the crew (the second window person who was totally just straight nasty to us like she didn't have time - didn't answer us and just sent these other two to the window, another lady and a female with tattoos arms and corn rows. None had name tags) They argued about the fry and the drink, which i know we ordered bc it was on our receipt. They argued saying they gave it to us, we then let them know they hadn't because we sat here and passed it out at the window still. She asked for the bag back (which is great considering covid btw) but the food had been passed out, I handed it to her anyways. The only thing they'd say was literally I was holding up their line over $2 Then I said well I'm not going to argue can I buy a fry and a drink and she told me no and again I was holding up their line. Absolutely ridiculous and I will post this to every site I can with reviews. Those three need fired at the very least. This McDonalds was amazing. They couldn't have been more accomodating and helpful to us 3 seniors. Bathrooms were super clean and well maintained. Carla was the manager and so nice. She had several employees and two who were really fun and kind were Zack and Navi. I wish my local store had these people!!! read more

If I could rate this McDonald's 0 out of 5 I would. Staff and manager are a bunch of mouth breathers. Slow service. Botched orders. Filthy floor behind counters. No lids, straws, available condiments. For a corporation that's built on speed and consistency, this facility falls severely short. Thank goodness we are just passing through this state. We stopped in our way to Jekyll Island. When we pulled up, two employees were on break (?) sitting outside on their phones. Once inside, One employee was at a table on the phone while another employee was talking to him. One customer was standing at the counter. We assumed she was waiting on her order. I went to the Bathroom while my husband got behind the waiting customer. After I got out of the bathroom, my husband advised he's be a few minutes and to move my car to the left side of the building. I waited there another 5 min. My husband comes back empty handed and said they wouldn't take his order. The woman in front of him told him that she had been waiting 10 min (to order) before we got there. Once my husband got there and got behind her, they finally took hers but when he stepped up, they walked away from the register. So he left. They had plenty of staff they just weren't interested in working I guess. read more

McDonalds on HWY 17 frontage road in Brunswick can use some attention... workers would do good to have a course in customer service - complaining that there are too many customers is not good... not repeating order back... signs of aggravation for requesting ketchup etc not good... plus the dining room area is messy... 4th of July visit... less than 10 customers should not have caused so much stress! Ordered a quarter pounder with no cheese meal which cost $6.49 and two mocha frappes. The cashier said that the quarter pounder meal cost $8.89. As I tried to argue my point that the quarter pounder meal cost didn't cost that much I finally gave up and told them give me a McDouble with no cheese, small fries, and two large mocha frappes. The large mocha frappes took over 15 minutes to make. It took three employees to realize that they didn't have the ingredients and had to go back and get the ingredients. By this time it started to rain and I was on a 10+hr road trip. As I finally got my two frappes, I went to take a bite of my McDouble with no cheese only to found out that it had cheese on it. I didn't even ask them to compensate me for my time wasted or to make me another McDouble without cheese in fear that it would take long for this McDonald's to do that. Stopped at this McDonalds and heard a manager cursing at her employees....Now that is really sad...but the worst part is when I noticed the young girl at the register helping a customer returning a burger that supposedly had ketchup on it that she didn't order. The girl at the register was nice and told the customer she was sorry and that she would get her another one, and she thru the burger in the trash. That same manager cursing at the employees ran up and said, "Oh NO, we don't do that"...and picked the box out of the trash and put it back under the hotplate.! Oh My! Makes you wonder.... read more
