I came to this McDonalds late at night and I am very satisfied with the service. My food came out fast and hot. One of the workers even gave me fresh fries because she thought the fries I were given were cold as an extra. I was super pleased with I ended my night with McDonalds. I am about to give a review not for the McDonalds restaurant but for an outstanding Employee. You can order McDonalds food at any location. What you can't seem to find lately is exceptional customer service. I'll be honest I almost gave up hope until I heard Jody's very deep baritone voice over the intercom. Not only did my bad day at work go into hibernation but an overwhelming need to hear him speak took over my soul. I don't know about you but if you ever get a chance to come to this McDonalds make sure Jody is on the drive thru window. You have to experience first hand how this man makes you feel when you order. He's the type of guy you want on your team every day. If your listening McDonald managers this man just might save your location from being the WORST to being the absolute BEST service you'll ever get at a drive thru. He deserves your attention and quite possibly a substantial raise. I pray his joyous ways rub off on some of your other " frozen in time" staff members. This particular McDonald's has the worst service. They will insist you use the kiosk even though they are not busy and super rude. We left and went to another place, there are plenty of options right there that are happy to have the business and another McDonalds only 4.2 miles away. read more

This McDonalds is off of Cumming Highway and Brooke Park Dr. It's beside a Brooklyn Joe's, Subway, Cheese Burger Bobby's. And if you turn right as you're leaving the place it will taking you around to the Target, Lowe's and Kohl's that located behind here. The place is lay out like the newer McDonalds that have been remodeled in that it looks more modern with stylish seating and plenty of natural lighting. The place was clean with no visible trash or food left on the table and or on the floor. The fountain drink area was neat and orderly with no soda drips or stray plastic lids laying around. Our cashier was a very polite and impressive young man who looked to about 16. He smiled at everyone and would personally hand you your order. So if you were dining in for example.... He would personally hand you the tray while making eye contact with you and wish a wonderful day....I was impressed. I thought his conduct was exemplary of what every retail store employee needs to be doing. I don't think I need to mention what is on the menu as most people are familiar with what is on a McDonald's menu. As this is the holiday season however there are a few limited edition McCafe drinks worth mentioning including the McCafe Peppermint mocha and the McCafe Peppermint hot chocolate. Good I have tasted in my 52 years in my life. The chicken was crisp, the machine is never broken, and the fries were the mid. The waitress was nice, the service was good, and I got my food after 5 minutes. The Ambiance of the place was exiting, fun, and just happy. It was like the smile on the happy meal. read more

I visited this McDonalds' drive thru this morning for breakfast and only one employee was wearing a mask. When I asked for the manager, she wasn't wearing one either. When I asked her why she wasn't wearing one she said that she was back in the office. I asked if she was going to put one on or make other employees wear them she rolled her eyes and said, "I'll take care of it". I'm disgusted. I understand not everyone likes to wear a mask. But it is mandated in GA for restaurant staff. Do better. read more

I understand that the food business/industry is very hard, but I used to be a manager at DOMINOS. I understand the rush of food. And yeah, we are all understaffed... but this was just plain ridiculous. We sat there for almost an hour.. the car in-front of us literally only ordered like three coffees and a sandwich... huh? I don't know, but this was just a cherry to top off my night. Maybe they had new people closing, which is never a good idea, trust me.. I made the same mistake. To make a long story short, it was terrible. The first thing i saw when i walked in was two male employees making on the counter and one of them was fingering the other. Which is all cool except for the fact that the guy who was knuckle deep in the other guy make my mc chicken without washing his hand. The service was terrible today! My husband was there about 40 minutes ago and ordered in the drive thru. When he got to the window, they read back his order wrong and he tried saying he ordered a #3 and the "shift supervisor" literally screamed at him that they don't carry a number three AND she had no idea what he was talking about (and I mean literally screamed at him). Seriously?! That's what he's ordered any time we go there and to be treated so rudely was uncalled for. To put short, this is one of the worst McDonald's. The food is not prepared at the right temperature so you have a high chance at a cold item whether a burger or an apple pie. Closes too early, staff is rude. Definitely a store ran by the less classy type around Canton. The staff doesn't care if your order is messed up and seem annoyed when you state the issue, and the sad part is I have had my order messed up multiple times here. I have been going to this location recently instead of the location on Riverstone pkwy due to how awful that location is, but this one is hardly better. Today I went and the drive through line was a little long. I waited 20 minutes only to get to the window and find out that they threw my order away because "your order was supposed to be 8 cars ago, so I guess you got skipped". There were only 5 vehicles in front of me and I did not let anybody else in front of me. The woman was also pretty rude about getting me new food. Not to mention that nobody apologized for any of this. I can understand a silly mistake, but the behavior shown when the mistake was made was unacceptable! read more

Was running errands and decided to walk in because every other stop in area was backed up. 10 min later I received my very simple order. Lots of customers standing around waiting. Not a clean table available, generally a mess. I don't have very high expectations of fast food, especially not McDonalds, but really, you should desire to me better than this. We went to this location on 9/15/18 around 9:30pm. I went to this location because it's usually cleaner than the Riverstone location. My wife ordered a ten piece nugget meal and I ordered the new bbq tenders meal. The fries on both meals were inedible, so I went to get new ones. The new fries were as bad as the first one. The manager, who did not seem too concerned, commented that the oil needed to be changed. She refunded the money for the fries. We then found out that the nuggets and tenders were also tasting nasty due the oil! Left the restaurant hungry and probably never going to return. How can a restaurant stay in business with such poor quality food and poor customer service????? read more

I have traveled to this area for work and not knowing the food locations around I decided to give this a try on my lunch break. Let's just say that was a mistake. I pulled up to the drive-through and the lady was very rude and struggled to get my order right. Once she got my order she asked me to pull up to the last window. I sat a good 20 minutes with just a few cars ahead of me. When it was finally my turn the young man running the window was very frazzled and didn't seem to know what he was doing. After paying he asked if I needed anything else and I gave him a few requests none of which he did for me. After getting my food I pulled forward and parked because my order was only half right. I decided to walk in to get the rest of my order. When I walked in it seemed the manager on duty was running the front. He was very friendly and helped get the rest of my order. I asked for my receipt because I was never given one and went on my way. When I got back to work I mentioned to a coworker that they must have someone new running the drive through and they then told me he wasn't new at all. I understand it was after the lunch rush hour but that's just ridiculous. I certainly won't be back. I will bring my business elsewhere. read more

It says somrthing when all reviews for this location are bad. Also, the first bad review was Nov. 2013. Today is May 31 2016 and it has maintained a consistant awfulness. Epic rude employees and so very dirty, it looks the same as the 2013 review described with food and trash on the floor. This morning my associate and I went inside to place a breakfast order. There were a couple of other people standing at the counter. I asked and none had been waited on or even acknowledged by the employees standing around. When I asked if anyone was working the front counter stating there were people waiting, a worker with dredlocks turned around and said "If you don't like the wait, then go somewhere else." That is a quote, I kid you not. So, I told her I would and wouldn't be back. Plus, I will share my experience in every way possible. I'm not sure how they stay open even for a McDonalds. read more

Extremely rude and poor service, this place honestly needs to fire everyone and rehire. Went through the drive through and a man named Joseph had a horrible attitude with us, and when we asked if they had a McDonald's sauce he said no with a stern voice and rolled his eyes and continued to say "we have signature sauce" (with a sarcastic tone) and when we asked for some he rolled his eyes again and threw his hands in the air, dramatically sighed and said something inaudible under his breath. Then he practically shoved the bag through the window and proceeded to aggressively close the window before we could ask for anything else. Not to mention he didn't give us any napkins, but we left anyways feeling as if we were a nuisance to him. His fingernails were HUGE and DISGUSTING, having him touch our food made us incredibly uncomfortable and destroyed our appetites.
