A mixed experience. Dirty tables and store wasn't busy. Order was wrong: no lettuce or tomatoes despite specifically requesting them, cup of soup when I paid for a bowl, and packed to-go although I stated it was for dine-in. Previous day my visit greeted with friendliness, and order was accurate. The difference being it was staffed with adults instigated surly kids that day. Went yesterday and we all tried the new French Dip. It was wonderful! I'm very picky about sandwiches and was hesitant to order it. We ordered online and it was almost ready when we arrived a few minutes early. All of the personnel were great. Welcoming us in and all were working hard to get the orders completed. Over the past month I have visited Firehouse 2 times. The first time it was filthy. A whole bag of chips was crushed onto the floor. The staff was friendly so I gave them another chance. When I went in today the ice machine didn't work. No big deal because I assumed they had another source behind the counter. As I stood waiting the lady working the register calls back to someone to get me and another person waiting ice... I quote her.."because they are standing here just staring at me!" 3.5 stars! It was definitely better than "Sub-par." Only thing is- I took the famous #1 Turkey/Ham combo to go and for some reason- it was a little soggy when I got home. I don't know why. Cost appears pricey but unfortunately comparable: $12.80 for the 13 inch with chips and a medium drink. Plus an extra bag of chips for an $1.09; why? Because it's all air in the bag these days. And I always share my food so I only ate half. Do I look like a firefighter to you :) They also offer healthy options; bag of baked chips was 80% less fat; lite mayo; veggie toppings and honey wheat bread instead of the yummy French bread. The offer hot or cold deli sandwiches & salads & let you know calorie counts. There's even a tv to catch up on Sports. Ich. The news would be a better option during lunch rush. Located next to Starbucks in the Carmichael movie theater parking lot and luckily not a long wait so it was an easy in & out. Hands up the best sub shop ev-er! Caring and kindly staff. I was sent to interview a couple places as part of an interview. To give them a Yelp review based on my experience. The staff here was incredible. Apparently they won't charge for their excellent pickles. Garlicky and so good. I had to buy some BBQ sauce in a cool fire hydrant jar just to get them to take my money and donation!! The Hero Sub is not to be missed. And now they have an incredible garlic sub bread for a meatball hero--I was told it's excellent with the brisket too! read more

Firehouse Subs - Fast Food Near Me - Canton, Georgia

This is so disappointing. I think we are just not having very good luck with ANY restaurants, as of late. It has taken over 10 minutes to get 3 simple items from this location. We headed over to Starbucks next door - that's a whole other story - for our drinks while our order was being prepared here at Firehouse. 2 kids sandwiches - a grilled cheese and a roast beef with nothing else on it. 1 hook & ladder. I did pay for the kids "combo." No Rice Krispies in the bag. 1. You took soooo long to make the items. 2. You didn't even get the order correct. Why did it take over 12 minutes. After 2 pm in the afternoon?! Is this standard? I hope not. I also, hope that the sandwiches are decent. Otherwise, I'll have an additional update to that disappointment. read more

Never had but one sub from firehouse, now I know why. Tonight I thought hey, I'll try it..close to my new apartment and only one customer inside. 20 mins later I got my steak n cheese but it had a wierd flavor and no cheese I could see. The food is always good here and the restaurant is clean. Not the most combined by location but it works. The service is always slow. I was one of 3 people in here recently and it took 20 minutes from the time printed on my receipt til I received my sandwich. I always come back, just wish they were more timely. read more

I normally like Firehouse but this location can be realllllllly slow during lunch. 20 minutes to get a sub when there's no line at the cash register? Something isn't right here. All of the employees appeared to be teenagers. I guess that's okay, but speed it up kids! The guys apologized for the wait. They were nice but were just moving so slowly with no sense of urgency. In a time when our world is upside down, there are still fabulous incidents that happen to change your opinion and hand you positives to replace the negatives! That's what happened to me recently with the handling of a small situation at Firehouse Subs/Riverstone Parkway, Canton, Ga., which was actually my fault. I totally misused the website; called in an order over the phone instead of ordering it online, yet still expected curb-side delivery...not! That is provided by online orders. I'm an idiot! Because I complained, I was surprised when I received a call from the General Manager who politely and patiently took the time out of his extremely busy day, explained the situation to me and invited me to return and enjoy another incredible Firehouse Sub! I ordered a sub to go tonight around 7pm. It took 40 minutes from the time I placed my order to the time my name was called. The young man that took my order was short, had dirty blond hair and was very rude. The staff was not friendly. I counted less than 15 people in the restaurant. Order sandwiches with no onions took them back because I already gotten home. All they did was pick the onions off and give the sandwich right back. My husband is highly allergic to onions. Then they wanted to give me an attitude for there mistake. So I ask for new ones and they didn't get it right again. This place need a whole new team and management. Called in my order an hour and a half ahead of time to pick up at 11:30. When I arrived the line was out the door but I proceeded to the sign that clearly states phone and internet order pick up. I was then told that I had to get in the back of the line of 20 people actually ordering. So when I FINALLY get back to the same person who told me to wait in line she told me that they would not even start my order for another 15 minutes. Why the hell is there call in orders of you aren't going to honor it? I've been waiting now 30 minutes for my 11:30 pickup and still don't have my order. Just terrible, over-priced food. I got the beef-cheddar BBQ something or other. They told me I could get a large for $2.50 more which is 12 inches, instead of the standard 8 inch sub, which they call the medium. I opted for the medium, and was disappointed all the way around. It sure didn't look like the picture. The place was empty and it still took them 15 minutes to make it. Nothing to brag about here. Definitely not the best firehouse subs around... I enjoy firehouse but this one is a little off. The food was okay. But the manager and cashier are having relationship problems or something and were arguing quite loud with several people in the restaurant. Very awkward.... the guy that handed my sub was nice and even looked over at us as we mentioned something about them arguing. He knew it was inappropriate . Maybe someone needs a promotion. This Firehouse Subs should be called the 'Dire-house' Subs. Walked in on a slow Sunday evening and ordered 3 simple subs. Three employees and (actually once I received my order saw a fourth employee in the back on her phone) 17 minutes later I walked out with my subs. Seems they just didn't like to work or work well together as a team. The sandwiches were good, correct, and well packaged. The store was clean. Seems Firehouse sub locations are hit or miss with staff issues. If better staffed could be a great location. read more

Staff is rude. I have called in an order and they put the phone down and took several orders and refused to assist me. I called back and the manager put me on hold and never returned. The sandwich tasted very blah and my friend and I both said it was BLAND, I didn't even eat all of mine. My wife and I have been coming into this location every Monday night for the last several months, We used to come in same night before COVID but as we are elderly we couldn't really be out. I will personally be the first to say that things are way different since our return in October. The team is faster and the food seems fresher. The cleanliness of the store has never been a doubt of mine as it is always very clean. Tonight's experience is the reason for this review. EJ, Morgan, and Bernie were especially nice and friendly. They helped me decided on what sandwich I should get. I always get the Hook and Ladder so they suggested the Everything Hook and Ladder, so that is what I purchased. I will say it was kind of weird at first but the Cream Cheese is a good touch. I speak for my wife when I say this location is the only one we will continue to go to.
