My eldest daughter and I came to this McDonald's to redeem a food prize from the Monopoly game. This location is linked with ExtraMile and Chevron located on Indian Hill Blvd in the City of Claremont. Exterior looked clean and maintained. Outside lighting could have been better though. We went through the drive-thru. I prefer not to walk-in especially at night unless I have to. There was no line surprisingly which was great for us. We got the free small soft drink, Sprite, and bought an apple pie. We do enjoy the simple treats from McDonald's. Staff who took our order, who took our payment, and who gave us our order were all pleasant. It was a very quick stop and go visit. Thanks for the freebie food item, McDonald's! This isn't normally our go-to McDonald's, but if it's on our way to someplace and we need a McDonald's hit, we'll be here LOL. read more

A Complete Miss at McDonald's! I usually enjoy McDonald's, but this visit was a complete fail. The first batch of fries I got were stale and hard, so I went back and asked for new ones. The second batch was supposedly fresh, but somehow still tasted stale and had no salt at all. By the time I got some salt from the counter, the fries had gone stale again. It honestly seemed like they might have some kind of freezer burn because the texture and flavor just weren't right. To make things worse, my hamburger patties were dry as can be, with barely any sauce, and the nuggets were hard. The only good thing about this experience was that the workers were polite and kind while trying to help, but the food quality was a complete zero. This is the closest McDonalds to me and they are pretty unreliable, which I give them grace for because they're so busy. But they're attached to a gas station and you have to take that into the equation. They're technically located in Claremont, but this is 100% a Pomona vibe crowd. Sometimes my fries are unsalted. Sometimes they give me no napkins. Most of the time I'm just looking for a Diet Coke, light ice, which they have never messed up. But they don't sell bags of ice, which is a huge disappointment for me at 10pm on this Monday night. There's a manager named Elizabeth I asked for her name personally because she was being very disrespectful and difficult. I tried to have patience, with her but she was very mean and racially profiling my family and I. What could improve is the quality of the food and the service from the employees. My wife and I ordered at 3:24am in which we were rushed and given attitude, the order were two meals (2 mc chickens, 2 4pc nuggets, fries and a drink). When I tell you the food is nasty it was NASTY. This place is a F'n joke. Nobody here can retain a short term memory. In my past 4 experiences items are missing from bad or food is made wrong. Last conversation at window, "I'll make sure ketchup is in the bag absolutely now pull up to space 2 and wait" -employee #1 then food gets delivered to car "ketchup in bag right"? his response "yes yes yes" employee #2 walk away. I search bag to bottom of all item and nothing. Previous visit I was charged incorrectly, I was giving other people's orders, had cold fries and then people act like it's hard to just get what you ask and paid for. How is this location still open? We came by drive thru for a quick lunch. We needed a minute to look over what to order and quiet the kids, one was screaming. So we decided to pull through without ordering so we wouldn't hold up the line any longer. While driving past the first window "Sarah" flipped us off.
