Placed an order on DoorDash and received the incorrect order. I called the store to inform them and asked for their store number and the guy i spoke to gave me attitude saying that if i called them then i have the number, i told him i wasn't asking for the number and was asking for the store number, he continued to be rude and said he wasn't going to give me his number and i told him again i wanted the STORE number and he hung up on me. I called back and spoke to someone else, apparently that store has no idea what a store number is because she kept asking me if i wanted the address. Finally got it and wrote to corporate because on top of them messing up my order, i was also charged twice. Fast food or not, the customer service shouldn't be this horrible. read more

I've lived in the area for almost 15 years. The inside of this McDonald's was beautifully renovated. Apparently, it was at the expense of customer service. I strongly suggest closing down the inside if none of the employees are going to assist the customers and are only going to prioritize the drive-thru. McDonald's is a treat for my two sons. The experience at the Claremont location continues to be the worst location on the US. Rude staff, they seem annoyed you are there and I have to check every single order to ensure I actually got what I ordered, and forget about them remembering the sauces they asked you for in the first place. I have learned to check the bag every time even if it's holding up the line but better than getting joke to be disappointed yet again. And as far as the infamous McDonalds fries.... I think it may been right night and right time. Double quarter pounder and filet O fish were excellent. Both items were hot and fresh.

This place once was really great. Now they focus more on talking and cursing than the orders. All the staff that I have encountered except Fatima have had poor attitudes and didn't even attend to the guests it literally took for me to lean over the counter in order for someone to help me. That is including the MANAGER that was staring me in my face. The younger kids constantly yelling n word this and n word that like the word isn't offensive to some of the customers. Walking in it seems pretty clean, but they don't have assigned cashiers for dining it seems like cause nobody pays the customers any attention which causes frustrations (which I seen first hand). This is the greatest restaurant I've ever had the privilege of being a patron of. Tonight I had just finished off a tiring sesh of super smash Bros melee with a pal and we were downright hungry by the end, so we looked for a restaurant that was still open at 4 am. And who should bestow his friendly 24/7 gaze upon us but old Mr McDonald himself. This location, situated at the ideal location at the southern side of Claremont's Indian hill, offers all the fine trappings we've come to expect from the fine franchises of McDonald's corporation. Our late night visit was quite successful, even by my rather strict standards. We pulled up to the special drive through lane, and ordered 20 Chicken McNuggets. Additionally, I ordered an extra 6 Chicken McNuggets with a coupon procured from the McDonald's mobile application, in celebration of the Los Angeles dodger's shutout in a game of professional baseball. Although not strictly related to my review of this fine establishment, I'd like to use this moment to point out that what the heck is a dodger anyways? Anyways, the ordering process was fast and easy. There was barely anyone else in line, and the woman at the cashier register accepted our payment and coupon with no extra hassle. Ordinarily, I would give good service like this 4 stars, but what made this visit convince me that McDonald's is definitively a 5 star restaurant was when we asked at the drive through window for ranch and sweet and sour sauce, and the cashier woman told us that she had ALREADY put two of EVERY kind of sauce into our bag. Talk about service! The only downsides of this restaurant is that sometimes their mcflurry machine isn't working, and also one time they charged me for two McChickens which I didn't order, and then i actually only received one McChicken.
