Only my second fast-food review, and it's sad. Filet O Fish ($5.69). This price is for ONLY the sandwich--not a "meal". McDonald's says the size of the Filet O Fish has not changed in decades. I beg to differ. I eaten these Filet O Fish for over 30 years. Back then, the sandwich was the same size as a Quarter Pounder. Now, the Filet O Fish is the size of a White Castle Slider. Photos included. Besides the smaller size, the sandwich is not well prepared. The cheese is barely on the bun and a small sliver (see photo). This review is from the perspective of a food delivery driver. Had an absolutely terrible experience at McDonald's recently. Went in for a Doordash pick up which I do several times a week at this location. After sitting in the drive through for several minutes I tried parking and walking in, the lobby was closed but there were no signs present informing me of this. Literally the only way to know it was closed was to walk up to the doors, yet the Doordash app was telling me to go inside lobby. I then returned to the drive-through line and waited another 10 minutes to get to the window. I was then told to park in the mobile order pick up space because the drink wasn't ready. The only item I had to pick up was simply a large caramel frappe. Over next 30 minutes or so I had two different employees visit my car 4 or 5 times attempting to give me orders that weren't mine. And each time they again asked what my order was. Eventually, when the drink was ready I was told "it was because the machine was down". That's something I could have been told when I arrived or when I was in the parking lot the first 5 minutes. I could have simply left. It took me about an hour of work to make $5.50 due to this extended waiting period. As I was sitting there I noticed several safety hazards. The young teens who work there are walking back and forth in the parking lot to deliver orders to cars waiting in the "mobile pick up" spots have no safety vests, lights or other distinguishing identification and its pretty dark. Cars are speeding around angry over waiting too long and customers are smoking weed in cars. This is a serious accident waiting to happen. The manager should be held accountable in some way as he or she is failing to lead these young people in the right direction. I called and asked for a manager and the manager came to the phone and she immediately gave me a attitude when I told her what happened and she told me I was disrespecting them by telling them what they did. Absolutely horrendous! Every single time I place an order through the app, they constantly forget the basic things. Forgetting straws, napkins, and spoons when I have order ice cream. Normally, this wouldn't bother me if it's once or twice but this has happened every single time I come to the specific location. Ordered a large fry and they gave me a medium fry instead. I'm not sure who's hiring, whether it's the owner or the managers, but hire some competent people for once. The whole entire staff needs to be retrained. It doesn't even stop there, even through the drive-through. I hear the managers, talking crap about their own employees in Spanish specifically Susie. She's scaring away all the younger employees by talking crap in a different language so they don't understand, who are trying to have a chance to work and learn social interaction skills along with customer service. These grown staff members picking on young workers and the owner is clueless since the managers are still terrorizing these younger employees. This place is run by terrible management. New competent managers are needed. Dish these old, washed up managers OUT! AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL..... Stopped by the drive thru this morning to get breakfast on my way to work. Also picked up 2 iced caramel mochas for my coworkers. Of course the drinks were not ready when I got to the pick up window, so I pulled forward. A guy brought out two chocolate covered drinks with chocolate syrup floating in the bottom. It doesn't take a genius to know that a caramel mocha is made from caramel sauce, not chocolate. I pull around to the front and take the drinks inside and request two caramel mochas, not chocolate. After I have to argue the "manager" for 2 minutes that these are NOT caramel mochas, she takes the drinks and puts more whipped cream on them with caramel sauce on top and proceeds to hand them back to me. Mind you the chocolate sauce is still in the bottom of the drink and under the new whipped cream with caramel sauce. Learn your menu "manager!" The iced caramel mocha has caramel sauce, not CHOCOLATE!! And the next time you want to cuss me in Spanish while I am standing there, make sure I am not fluent in Spanish and understand EVERY WORD you said!!!! I will not be back.
