I don't ask for much from a McDonald's. I don't come here for good food. I come here for a quick, consistent meal. And salt. My standards are pretty low. I didn't even get that this time. I ordered my meal, got my buzzer, receipt, and sat down to wait. I waited Waited And waited. Finally after I saw the entire crowd after me clear out, I got up to see what was wrong. Hey, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, maybe those take longer. Nope. My order was MIA. Maybe someone grabbed it? Who knows. Still weird that if someone grabbed the wrong order that there were no extra orders unclaimed. Talked to the manager and got my refund, maybe I'm petty, but when something as simple as a McDonald's sandwich can't even be handled properly, then I don't want your food anymore. I'm pretty fat too, so that's a big diss. For future reference - - had an order number, it was never called out. - had a buzzer. It never went off, even though other customers had theirs work properly. It seems just a failure of checks and balances was to blame here. Stopped in here for a quick breakfast before catching a flight. The place was quite busy, yet the servers were reasonably efficient in taking my order. It took just a few minutes to get my order. My egg and sausage muffin and potato cake were good. The coffee was amazingly hot. Had to add ice to it to drink it in a reasonable time - that was a bit surprising. Verdict: Artisan is a bit of an an overstatement. The Pico Guacamole with Artisan Grilled Chicken is a bit of a mouthful to say and more than a few to eat. For McDonald's, it's actually not too bad. I'd recommend this choice over many others they have to offer. As far as airport good goes, you could easily get worse and pay far more. The sad truth is that this sandwich probably won't be around too long. The classics last. The rest is destined to be replaced by the latest attempt to remain fresh and competitive. Fast, decent, and familiar...that's what McDonald's is to me, and this particular location fits right into that formula. Being in Terminal C they keep pretty busy but the staff rises to the occasion and serves it up pretty quickly, so there a fast convenient place to grab a bite before a flight. This particular visit afforded me a Sausage McMuffin with Egg and an Orange Juice. The Sausage McMuffin was consistent with what I get at their other locations and I believe the service may have been a bit quicker than I am used to to from McDonald's. I don't always fly out of terminal C, and I don't always eat airport food, but when I have too, it is nice to have this place as an available choice. read more

First off I went with the buttermilk chicken sandwich it was okay. The food was hot I was in and out in about 3 mins so it was quick enough that I had about 7 mins to eat before I was supposed to board. Running thru the Dallas Ft.Worth airport! This one stop shop is quick and efficient. I had a few minutes to catch my connection and with the terminals being so far apart and the train running every few minutes, I was in a hurry. Perfect fries. Long line means they're making them all the time. And prices that are pretty close to brick and mortar even though it's in airport. You'll wait 10 minutes for food though. Just don't order small drink--mediums and larges only. read more

Oh Mickey D's... I've come to rely on you for your delicious soft-serve ice cream. Yet on my visit to this location, the workers at this Mickey D's stared at me like I have a gigantic mole on my face when I simply ordered a soft serve ice cream cone. So instead, I went with an Oreo frappe. I was fairly disappointed, as there were a couple of large pieces of ice that were not blended well. The flavoring was lacking as well, and the frappe tasted like ice slush. Thankfully, the whipped cream on top with crushed Oreo pieces salvaged some flavor, although neither is made by the restaurant (though assembled by them). read more

I'm not sure how long it's been since I've been to a McDonald's....15 years, maybe longer. We were on our way home from Tampa and had to catch our connecting flight at the Dallas Fort Worth Airport. I was really tired of spending $20-30 bucks every time we needed a meal at the airport so I got in line. Fantastic grilled chicken sammy-yes the bun was a typical McDonald's white burger bun but the chicken was cooked well! The line went fast! I got change from a $20 for 2 people. The one good thing about McDonald's is consistency of food. This McDonald's doesn't disappoint. The downside with this location is that their prices are higher than a regular McDonald's. That's sort of expected when you buy any food at the airport. The one thing I was disappointed about was that they didn't serve the 4.99 20 piece chicken mcnugget special. The funny thing was that they never even heard of the special. The service was very quick. Everyone there kept asking me if I was ready to order or if they could help me. Good and quick service. I ordered a chicken ranch wrap and fries...those were out within 2 minutes. That was much better than expected, because I had a tight connection and a flight to catch. Only thing is I felt like the cashier was a bit impatient, and I didn't get ketchup even though I asked for it. Fries still had that addicting taste, and the wrap made me full. I came and order some fries, the fries were stale. I asked them to get me new ones since they were uneatable, but they all were just upset that I asked them to put more fries in the fryer. Then I asked for some mayonnaise and this guy Hector, I'm assuming is either a lead or a cashier told the guy u had asked for that no there were not more. The guy challenged him letting him know that in fact there were more just right behind him and he said, "No, tell him we don't have more and that's it." The guy apologized for not able to give me mayonnaise. They don't have either customer service skills nor respect amongst each other working inside there. Food is just nasty, instead of making sure food is taken care of, they are in their phones and joking around in the kitchen, I wonder if they even put on gloves and keep things sanitary. I stopped by this McDonald's at DFW airport Terminal C. It's roughly in the middle of the terminal in a mini foot court location. As much as I have moved away from any and all fast food I have to admit McDonald's has shown some good customer service this day. They shuffled the line quickly and I ordered within a few minutes with 4 people in front of me. Then the food showed up in a few minutes more which was another surprise. I ordered an Egg McMuffin so maybe they are sitting around except that it was warm and decent quality. The price is fair and the calories at 300 are one of the better items. This is the WORST mcdonalds location that i have ever been to. I ordered a big mac combo and the workers didn't even care to put my order up on the screen. When i asked the worker about my order, she switched my order with someone else's order and she lied to me saying that the order is a big mac when really it isn't. Instead, i got some chicken sandwich that was labelled as a big mac on the box when it clearly isnt. Not only that, the workers were extremely rude to me. This McDonald's is always fast, efficient and has extremely friendly staff. I have never had a bad experience at this McDonald's. I never have to wait very long go my food even if there is a long lineup. There is ample seating. They have fountain diet Dr. Pepper. If you're a Texan and have travelled to other parts of the country, you know this is liquid gold. I always get one right before I get on the plane because I know I'll be deprived until I'm back in Texas. I got just a drink on my last trip there a few days ago and paid $2.10, for a a medium compared to the dollar drinks, any size offered outside the airport. Can't expect anything less though. All airport restaurants charge more. read more

McDonald's is not the best of my choices but given that I'm traveling with my little girl she asked to get her the famous kids meal. At our arrival she has no idea when they serve the regular daily menu vs breakfast and of course I'm so lost in time since we been on plane 3 hours. I get to place my order where a nice gentlemen who takes my order. I ask for kids meal he notifies me it is only breakfast time. I quickly move out of the line and excuse myself so he can take next person so I can let my little one know of other alternatives. He sees my concern and my daughters and makes an attempt to ask me if I can wait 4 min for chicken nuggets? I was grateful for his willingness to take care of us. I know he didn't have to but he did. Better than I had expected for a McDs. Location: Located inside airport near gate D33, you get quite a nice view of airplanes landing. They have two long tables for customers to sit at. Food: Their SW salad was actually quite tasty and had a lemon zest flavor with crunchy tortilla chip strips. You can have a choice of grilled vs fried chicken on top of your salad, the chicken on top of my salad was nice and warm. Their big Mac was also decently made - not too greasy. Price: 6.30 for salad, which is slightly pricey for a fast food restaurant in my opinion. 4.30 for big Mac burger.
