In hindsight, I should have looked at these reviews before stopping here. I was on my way to Danville Area Community College for an event. I wanted breakfast and needed coffee so this seemed like a reasonable choice. After circling the building, I located their mobile ordering curbside pick up spots. I parked, opened the app, and placed an order for a breakfast burrito meal and iced coffee. A moment later, the app notified me that items from my order weren't available so I checked -- at 8:15 a.m., it incorrectly stated that all of those breakfast items weren't available at that time of day. Alrighty then. I swung into the drive-thru and placed an identical order. Not surprisingly, all of those items were available. I pulled up to the window to pay and the employee wasn't wearing a mask. At the time of this visit and review, there is an indoor mask mandate in Illinois so I was surprised to see an employee -- especially a customer-forward employee -- not abiding by the directives. At the second window, where I was given my coffee and food, the employees also weren't wearing masks. Clearly management doesn't care to enforce the policy? Or update the menu availability hours in the app? The hash brown and burritos were standard McDonald's fare - exactly what I've come to expect. Do not go in this restaurant, it's gross and the garbage they have in their for employees are racists . Order was incorrect, food was poorly put together . Literally seen the dimwits they have for employees abusing an elderly woman who was visibly upset after some loss in her family, these imbeciles thought mouthing off and refusing to put her order together correctly was just fine behaviour The employees were only acting like this because she's white, anyone could tell this by the COMMENTS that 3 of them made and they are too poorly educated to do the damn job they are hired for . Yo, idk what was goin on. This lady handing us our food had such an attitude. Didn't speak up, just felt like she was throwing the food at us at that point. The lady taking our order was fine, just the people at the window talk, and then try and tell us things while they look away, talking quiet like I can hear them. She told me to pull forward, then after I pulled forward, THEN tried to say she said pull around to the front, and kept talking shit, but the car behind me already pulled forward and I couldn't move. The only reason I give this one a 3 is because it's on the east side of town and it brings in to much trouble however I've not really ever had any issues with staff or my orders just yet. So if you are on the east side of town and you don't feel like driving up north or even to the south end locations it's still a decent one to go to read more

The young staff is always rude and when they get your order wrong (which is often) they argue with you about it. the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. pulling up at the drive thru, you have to wait 10 minutes before they even ask you to order. then you have to wait another 5 minutes in the middle of your order because they tell you to wait while they help other people in the drive thru. After placing your order & paying, you then have to wait another 15 minutes for your food to be ready & almost every time they forget something or your food is cold. Oh and heaven forbid you ask them to fix an issue, they just try to fight their customers... terrible... read more

We made the apparent mistake of going through the drive through. Everything was going fine until we got to the 2nd window to pick up our food. For starters, they waited until then to tell us their ice cream machine was broken. We had already paid for a milkshake. Then, they only gave us 1 of the 2 large fries we ordered. One apparently got taken off the order, so we didn't technically pay for it. So instead of giving us another one, they insisted that we go back through the drive through or come inside. Like, what??? Stranger still, their ice cream machine was apparently working because they eventually gave us a milkshake. Also, the one large fry we did get wasn't even salted. Broken Ice cream machines and messed up orders are NOT uncommon for McDonald's, but the combination of those mistakes and more, as well as their refusal to work with us over their mistake, created an exceptionally bad experience. read more
