This is one of the worst McDonald's locations that I've ever been to. It also happens to be the closest to home for me. Over the last 2-3 months I've eaten here a couple times and have attempted to at least a couple more times. 1. The drive-thru. It dosent matter what time of day you come to this location, if you use the drive-thru you'll be waiting a long, long time. Its not necessarily that its always busy, its just that the service is extremely slow. Ive been the only car waiting 5 minutes at the window for a simple order and ive been 5 cars deep waiting 20 minutes for fries and a soda. Slow service is the name of the game for this location. In fact, the drive-thru inspired me to write this today. I drove up hoping to get breakfast at about 10:15 am, however when I got to the lot and saw the line was backed up 2-3 cars beyond the menu boards, I knew it wasnt likely that i'd be getting breakfast and even if i was able, I wouldn't be eating it before 11 am. I diverted for Chick-Fil-A and made it home with breakfast before 10:30 am. 2. If your still reading, you may have said, why dosent he get his lazy butt out of his car and go inside the restaurant. This part is for you. Recently, I decided I really wanted a Big Mac, but didn't want a 45 minute drive-thru wait, so inside i went. Stood at the counter to order for a minute or so, while no employee paid me any attention, when suddenly an employee in the back says, "you order at the kiosk." Much to my surprise, there's a kiosk in the lobby behind me (which has me wondering why there is still a counter with registers). I proceed through to the kiosk, which is filled with many adventures, and about 5 minutes later I have placed my order for a Big Mac meal, with a large fry and large coke. I spend my short time waiting for my food wondering how McDonald's forcing everyone to order from a kiosk, instead of with a cashier fits on my scale of customer service. I quickly decide it's not very high on that scale! Looking around, I'm the only person waiting for an order. After a short wait, an employee drops a bag on the counter and shouts a number. Its mine...again, im the only person waiting for food. McDonald's clearly sees me as a number! Now, my mind goes to the fact that I normally would have used the drive-thru, but today I came inside, and I even selected to dine in on the kiosk, but by putting my order in a bag they have sent their own message back that they want me to leave. Im going to spite them and sit down to eat. The lobby was pretty clean (I have to say something nice). I choose my spot, open my bag, and there's just a Big Mac box - no fries. I return to the counter...same charade, ignored...ignored...someone in back yells, "order at the kiosk." Finally, I get someone's attention and tell them I didn't get my fries. They dont apologize or anything, just begrudgingly grab a large fry, toss it in a bag, and say, "Here you go." Back to my table I go. Half way there, and I remember my large coke, so I spin around and head back to the counter. Ignored...ignored...."order at the kiosk." Is this real?! Flag down another employee. "I didn't get my soda." He is now going to Sherlock Holmes this, asks for my receipt, which is at the table with my Big Mac. Then he reluctantly decides its not worth it and hands over a soda cup. read more

Ordered on the app and did curbside pickup. Waited around eight minutes before walking inside to see if there had been a technical error. Was told there were only four employees in the building. After that food arrived minutes later. Everything tasted like what you would expect from an average McDonald's. No complaints here! I just wish the service was faster and they hired more people to run the restaurant. Fast food is supposed to be fast. read more

Just okay. Very slow service inside - we had a question and waited at the front counter for quite a while. All staff were in back and didn't pay much attention to the front, until they walked out an order. And even then, they would just walk by us (until I said something). For a McDonald's, the food took a while to be made and brought out. Feels like they focused on the drive through, and the in-store business was secondary. read more

We were in the area as official photographers for a dog show event in Ottawa, Wisconsin and our hotel didn't have much of a selection of non-carb options so we headed to McDonald's drive through for our regular road food; 2 large coffees with 2 creams each and 2 Sausage Egg McMuffins. I know, nothing glamorous or interesting about that order, but we can usually tell how well the various McDonald's do based on that order. We did the drive through and both times we stopped there it was busy and the process was efficient and the workers were friendly enough. We ordered, paid and were on our way quickly. That part works great. Our orders were accurate too and money handling was good. (Does anyone face money anymore?) The downside for these two visits was tepid coffee and McMuffins. I usually like McDonald's coffee because it is consistent and hot, both our cups tasted okay but were not hot. The McMuffins were not hot either, warm, yes, but not hot like I would hope for. The cheese wasn't fully melted and the English Muffins were soft. This location is easy on and off for the Interstate so we were hoping for a better experience. McDonald's - Drive through - getting some coffee - Burgers Near Me - Delafield, Wisconsin

I stopped here for a coffee for my drive to Maddison to meet some friends for a weekend get together. This Mc Donald's has the worst drive through configuration because the lot is shared with a few other businesses so staggered and the drive through is I not like most Mc Donald's so it was a little confusing to get in line. What gets this Mc Donald's a 4 star review has nothing to do with my coffee purchase but how Fn friendly and upbeat the guy working it was, a cool cat he was. It was slow with no one behind me so we started talking about the weekend and how he likes bikes and I like cars and some of the car shows going on that weekend. He was definitely the best conversation with a drive through employee that I have ever had because most drive through employees hate the job and it shows in the attitude. Who ever you were man you started my day off great and the whole day was great with my friends which was a wonderful day, thank you if you ever read this. read more

This is the third time I've placed a mobile order just to get there and them not be open. Two time supposedly the opener over slept and the third time they had an "emergency evacuation" yet workers were still in the store, doesn't seem like an evacuation to me. If you want undercooked food, atrocious service and a McDonald's location that does not honor the deals on its app, this is the place for you. If you would prefer to patronize a typical McDonald's with tasty food and excellent customer service drive past the Hartland/Wales exit and look for the golden arches further down the road. Trust me. If you'e never been to a McDonald's there are an American Fast Food Franchise specializing in Burgers and Fries and, most recently, in the last decade have added a large McCafe selection featuring coffee drinks. Perhaps their best dish is the "Cheeseburger and Fries". Very Delicious burger. Thin, so if you are a big eater, I would suggest upgrading to the double or the quarter-pounder. The french fries are of the thin cut, salted, and also very delicious. For beverages the proudly serve Coca-cola drinks, fountain style. At most restaurants, any size soda is $1 so if you are ordering a drink, might as well make it a large since it will be cheaper, if not the same price as a small option. They also offer drive-thru service in the event you are looking for a take-out meal. This is a nice option if you do not want to leave your vehicle. You pull up to a visual order station and submit your order to someone listening on the inside. As your car approaches the front, they start to prepare your order. You will pay and drive off with your meal. If you are a fan of burgers and fires, I would recommend McDonald's to you. read more

I stopped in the drive thru twice for breakfast during my Wisconsin stay. Pros: even though there was a steady stream of customers in the drive they it kept moving quickly. My order was correct each time and food was hot and fresh. Cons: extreme lack of customer service. I understand they help hundreds of customers a day through the drive thru. But a "good morning" or "hello" would be appreciated. Each time at the speaker I was greeted with "can I help you" and at the windows there was no acknowledgement despite my cheery "good morning" they were quick to take my money and fork over the food. I go to this McDonalds often. Typically they get my order right, I don't know if it was the staff working or what but this visit was not up to past expectations. Not only did they get my order wrong when I said, "nothing on my burger, no cheese or anything." They had somewhat of an attitude with me and said, "so plain." When we received our order, I was Unpleased to see that there was cheese on top of it. I knew that they would fix it for me and went in to ask. They told me to make sure that I ask for no cheese. Which I did. As soon as I received my "new order," I went back to my car and saw that they had just scraped the cheese off of it. I work in food so I understand when it's been a long night and you just want to go home. However, if someone brings up a problem, I expect to be treated how I personally treat my customers and do everything in my power to fix it. Poor Drive-thru service every time I come to this location... You would think I would have  learned my lesson by now, but when you want something off the dollar menu or a large Coke and you you see the line is minimal, you think "maybe this time will be okay." Today there was literally no one in line and it still took Two minutes for them to even acknowledge my presence when there was no other car in line... I drove up to the cashier who apologetically claims they were understaffed again. It's only after you drive away that you taste the DIET Coca-Cola (I hate Diet and that is Not what was ordered). The corporate training people should come and monitor the Drive-thru.  Maybe they need to raise the paychecks and hire people who follow instructions in a timely manner (like McDonald's used to base their business model on). THIEVES !!!! Food was dried out, spongy buns that sat under heat lamps and fries were cold and limp. After I left i noticed that the dummy charged me 2 extra dollars in tax. When I called the guy who was playing "manager" that day, (Daryl), he told me that they did indeed screw up and promised to make good by giving me a free meal by just mentioning my name next time I came in. 3 weeks later I came back and the lady behind the counter said there is no record of "Daryl" agreeing to give me this recompensation!!
