Worst McDonald's experience I've ever had. This is supposed to be a fast food restaurant, yet it took over 35 minutes just to get an order with four items. There was only one customer ahead of me, it was around 7:00 a.m., and there wasn't a single car in the drive-thru, so they can't use being "busy" as an excuse. To make things even more confusing, they placed my order on the DoorDash pickup shelf even though I ordered inside the restaurant, so I had no idea my food had been sitting there. Meanwhile, customers who arrived after me received their food before I did. When I tried to get someone's attention, I was completely ignored. I even remembered that it wasn't just an employee--it was the manager. Instead of helping customers, the manager pulled out their phone and started texting while multiple people were standing there waiting for assistance. When I finally got my order, the food was cold and half of it was missing. They forgot my drinks, FIFA cups, utensils, syrup, and hash browns. I went back to let them know, and they only handed me the utensils. Everything else was still missing. On top of that, nobody would even come to the front counter to take orders, even though there were at least five employees standing around. Before anyone says I'm just complaining, I'm not. I've worked in both fast food and restaurants, so I understand how hectic those jobs can be. This wasn't about being busy--it was about employees, including the manager, choosing to ignore customers instead of doing their jobs. The entire experience was disorganized and incredibly unprofessional. After this experience, I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. Me and my family went here while we were on vacation and we wanted something easy which we didn't have to cook but boy was this horrible. First of all the workers here would always be mad if we said something was off. Second, the spicy snack wrap had way more sauce than what we asked for. Lastly, the frozen cokes weren't even frozen or carbonated! If you and your family come to Destin Florida, don't eat it there is much better options. read more

I get this is just a McDonald's, but I've been to McDonald's in over 8 different states and have never seen the restaurant be this filthy. The employees don't care, which I understand they work at McDonald's, so they're going nowhere in life and have no reason to be happy but you could at least pretend and try to be nice to customers. Me and my family came to eat here twice during our vacation, the first time our fries were cold, nuggets tasted weird, food overall was ok not the usual mcdonald's but we thought it was a bad day. Came back a second time and then fries were cold again, but my burger this time was UNCOOKED, the meat was raw. the service was another one of the issues everyone seemed unbothered to help all we're doing their job as if they don't care until we got a manager to fix it, also the restaurant is a mess. McDonalds located in Destin Florida. On a major road and In front of a lot of popular shops. This location was down the road from my families condo on our Destin vacation. The kids not always wanting seafood had us run here for some nuggets or breakfast. The lines here were atrocious. Extremely long and slow moving. They have a double drive thru and both lines back up so much it traps in the cars of the patrons who dine inside. They have signs saying "short staffed sorry for the wait". On one particular visit I pulled up to the window For breakfast and could see inside they had a ton of workers. The lady at the window I assumed was just a traditional young McDonald's worker who could care less as she didn't say a word the entire time and handed me a bag. I checked my bag because it was a large order and I just waited 30 min. I look and I'm missing a sausage patty for one of the kids. This is where the fun started. I don't think the lady was rude. She just didn't speak English at all. I kept trying to tell her I'm missing a sausage. She kept saying "sauces" and holding up packs of sauce. After that a few times I dig through the bag and find a sausage patty and point at it and then hold up 1 and say as I added another finger "should of been 2". She finally got the gist. So while I left frustrated I did leave with a sense of pride that my charades game was on point. Overall not a good experience. McDonald's food is what it is. You like it our you hate it. So I rate locations based on service, speed, quality and correctness. Big fat zero on all those here. I get being short handed. But stick the people who can't speak English well or at all in areas where face to face service isn't a must. Leave it to McDonalds to stress someone out on a beach vacation. read more

I ordered on the Kiosk and I had to pay in cash, so I went to the counter. The lady that was in front on me had her mom literally say Hello! to get anyone to the register. Everyone just looked at us but still no service. Some Asian workers would literally not even look at us when they passes by in front of us to get to the exit door. Finally after 15 minutes of waiting, someone who I think was the manager. Whatever she was, she asked me what my order number was with the most rudest attitude it was insane. In a convenient spot with great facilities, but lacks a commitment to customer service. Our food was good and everything was correct so they've fulfilled the bare minimum, what I can't tolerate are dirty tables and floors. We almost took our food back to the car, but we'd been traveling for hours and needed to spread out. Flies were rampant because none of the tables had been wiped down or cleaned. Granite, customers should take it upon themselves to throw away their trash once they're done! However, if the establishment notices a mess forming, they should take it upon themselves to keep it tidy. Avoided the bathrooms for this reason alone. read more

First they do not take our order through the drive through because the kids are laughing and joking around. Then we come to the window to order and get our food and then we have 2 chicken nuggets after ordering a 6 piece. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We sat in their line for 45 minutes and when we got to the box to give our order. They instead of asking us for our order, preceded to take the 4 other cars in the opposite lane's order instead, which of course resulted in us missing the breakfast menu. Although we were by the box prior to them changing it. Then the lady came on after an additional 15 minutes of us waiting and says "what's your order?!" Like EXCUSE me? They messed up our order and obviously when you go up and ask them they ask you for your receipt, but when we paid, they didnt give us the receipt bc the "the machine wasnt working" so we had nothing to give them, when confronted they were being really passive aggressive and accusing us of being disrespectful never going to this location again. read more
