Best meal I've had in a while, the Samuel meal has been amazing. And the service is awesome, some worker actually went to Arby's for me and got me a meat mountain for some reason. Yummy yummy in my tummy tummy. They have excellent bogers

Very disappointed with this experience. Our order was messed up multiple time. we were missing McDoubles and then received chicken nuggets instead of Mc Crispy strips. When we politely went back through the drive-thru, the cashier was rude and blamed us, saying she got in trouble. Once we finally got the McCrispy strips, they were dry, old, and extremely thin and nasty. This visit was frustrating and disappointing from start to finish.

Stopped by this McDonald's on Discover Hwy, CA after a long afternoon picking blueberries nearby. I was hungry, tired, and just needed something quick and comforting--and of course, McDonald's is always a go-to. When I pulled in, I saw a long line both inside and at the drive-thru. It was clearly a busy time, and I was ready to wait. Honestly, the wait was longer than expected, but what made the experience still pleasant was the friendly staff. Even though they were clearly swamped, they stayed polite, patient, and moved as quickly as they could. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what I needed after walking around a blueberry farm for hours. Sometimes it's not just about the food--it's about the small kindness during a tired moment, and this McDonald's delivered that. Not the fastest McDonald's, but definitely one with heart. Appreciate the team working hard during peak hours!

14896 Highway 4 Discovery Bay, CA 94514 This is the McDonald's Restaurant at the Sandy Cove Shopping Center in Discovery Bay, CA. It has a prime location right along Highway 4. It has a modern appearance, and a double menu board drive-thru. It also has outdoor seating, and plenty of parking. It was Wednesday night, around 9:45pm. Fairly clear night, with temps in the 70's. I decided to grab a Big mac and Small fries in the drive-thru before the drive home. When she displayed the prices on the menu board, I noticed something interesting. I had to do a bit of research, but I was right....the prices are slightly cheaper at this location. Big Mac $5.89 Sm Fries $2.89 Service was very quick, friendly and prompt. How was the food? - Fries were hot and crispy. Lightly salted. - The Big Mac was nicely assembled. Plenty of Big Mac sauce. Not enough onions. Just doesn't taste the same as the old Big Macs. Overall good experience, I would return.

So to be fair we typically use this particular McD's to grab a cold drink between u-pick farms. It has been clean the 4 times we have been in and the service was fine. We did not experience the customer service issues many have outlines in reviews

This burger looks like it survived a house fire and then got run over by a truck. The patty was so burnt, I thought McDonald's started selling charcoal briquettes. The cheese? Melted like it was holding on for dear life, and those sad little pickles were just... existing. Honestly, if this is "fast food," then they need to slow down and try again. I don't see how they thought it was OK to serve that..

I rarely eat fast food, but when I do, I at least expect to get what I ordered. We specifically asked for extra onions on our cheeseburgers, and what we received had little to none. It's disappointing when such a simple request isn't followed through. It feels like we live in a time where pride in work and customer service is fading, and experiences like this really show it.

I do not recommend this location. Some of their ingredients are not fresh. I ordered a Big Mac and some of the lettuce was brown and slimy. The fries and coke were ok.

Service is always kind and timely. No rushing or making you feel unwelcome. VERY kind and attentive staff! The ambiance is ordinary, but very clean. They were crispy on the outside, but inside they were uncooked. I ordered the Italian sausage, onion, and green chili omelette. Unfortunately the sausage was tasteless and the green chilies don't seem like they were rinsed because they still had a briny taste. I had asked for cheddar to be inserted in the outlet, but unfortunately it came out without cheddar. I brought this to the attention of my server. She said I could take it back and have them put cheese on the top and melt it in the oven. I know it was a busy morning with the farmers market at all, but that shouldn't be a reason why the food quality that came out of the kitchen was like this. As always, the hostess the person that gave you the set up to the water and the waitress were all great.

Delta Dining with a Front-Row Seat to the Action. Some restaurants lean heavily on their kitchens…read more Others rely on their scenery. This Delta mainstay attempts, and often succeeds, to balance both. A short drive from the city delivers you to this laidback waterfront outpost, where the real show unfolds just beyond the patio: a steady procession of boaters launching, docking, and lingering over the day's boating stories all around you. It's an unpolished but undeniably charming backdrop, best enjoyed with a cold craft beer in hand and nowhere urgent to be. The menu casts a wide variety of burgers, seafood, barbecue, designed more for broad appeal than culinary ambition. Still, it largely delivers on its promise of satisfying comfort fare. Service, however, is where the restaurant consistently distinguishes itself. Staff members are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, a level of hospitality that feels increasingly uncommon and worth noting. On this visit, I returned to a familiar favorite: the cheeseburger, paired, at our server's suggestion, with tater tots. Around the table, fish and chips and pulled pork sliders completed the spread. The cheeseburger, Juicy and cooked with precision, it carries a distinct flame-grilled character that signals real attention to technique. The toppings are fresh, the bun properly toasted, and the overall construction strikes a satisfying balance between indulgent and controlled. It's a burger that delivers exactly what it promises, and does so consistently. Having previously paired it with excellent onion rings, it remains a dish I'd order without hesitation. The tater tots, however, were a notable misstep. A great tot should offer contrast, crisp exterior giving way to a light, airy interior. These lacked that essential textural payoff. Soft and underwhelming, they suggested oil past its prime and a lapse in execution. After sampling a few, I left the rest behind. It was a surprising inconsistency, particularly given stronger past experiences. Fortunately, the pulled pork sliders recalibrated the meal. Three well-proportioned sandwiches showcased tender, smoky pork layered onto soft buns with a restrained hand on the sauce. The balance was thoughtful, allowing the meat to remain the focal point. Each bite was cohesive and satisfying, making them one of the afternoon's clear highlights. The fish and chips were fresh and not over battered, well-flavored, but just a little heavy, that defines the dish at its best when lightly crispy, in my opinion. For this visit, I award 3 out of 5 stars. Not for lack of potential, the kitchen clearly has it, but for inconsistency. Strong dishes sit alongside underwhelming ones, and that variability prevents the restaurant from reaching its full potential. Having experienced better execution here before, particularly with fried items, it's evident that higher standards are within reach. Still, three stars should not deter a visit. This remains one of the Delta's most appealing gathering spots. The waterfront setting, approachable pricing, generous portions, and engaging atmosphere create an experience that extends beyond the plate. It's a place where time stretches, conversations deepen, and the rhythm of the water sets the pace. I'll return, for something new on the menu, the view, and with the hope that the kitchen rediscovers the consistency needed to match its undeniable strengths.

But I'm a firm believer in second chances so when we realized this was in a different location near an event we attended, we were excited to try it again. And I'm so glad we did. Service was 10/10. I saw a lot of previous reviews mentioning the same experience we originally had. If this was you but you liked the food, please give them another shot. We ordered a little closer to closing than I normally would (about an hour, nothing crazy.) The young lady that helped me was incredibly kind and double checked our order against the receipt. We don't live super close so this was very much appreciated. We ordered the 3s a Crowd, sticky wings, fries, corn bread, mac & cheese and potatoe salad. With the exception of the chicken tender that came in the 3s a Crowd, all of the meat was excellent. The brisket was perfectly smoked & sauced and the ribs literally fell off the bone. The chicken leg was crispy, juicy and had amazing flavor. Sadly, the chicken tender was really dry, almost tough to bite through. But in the grand scheme of meat - we weren't there for the tenders so not a deal breaker for us. Fries were packaged in a wax bag so they were pretty soggy, but I acknowledge that we had about a 10 minute drive before eating. They still tasted pretty good as far as fries go. Corn beard was about as unremarkable as corn bread can be without being notably bad. It wasn't bad - it certainly wasn't good... It was, much like the mac & cheese, without any flavor or appealing consistency at all. It was crumbly, not sweet or savory - and left no more than a hint of corn bread after taste. The mac & cheese was wildly overcooked & lacked any flavor at all. It didn't taste "bad," it literally tasted like nothing at all and was comically mushy. This wasn't something seasoning could fix. The potatoe salad on the other hand was great; very flavorful, amazing consistency, I loved this. If you can't have a bbq without mac & cheese or corn bread, this might not be the spot for you. But we will absolutely be back for ribs, chicken, brisket and to try the other sides. Overall we really enjoyed trying this again and will definitely be back.

Over the last 10 years or so , every year , it's gotten worse and worse and worse. With their last night with my family, ordered Carne asada tacos just like I always do and they were completely flavorles and the tortillas horrible. They changed the salsa..why i dont know? That was the only thing left there that tasted decent. If you look on their front door you can plainly see , they used to be really good with all of the awards for the last twenty years For best restaurant in Brentwood, I haven't seen any new ones on the door lately. If you order a meal , the rice and beans are spread so thin on your plate , There's only about three spoonfuls each. They're prices have gone up to just about almost twenty dollars a meal , which is absolutely ridiculous for the quality and quantity of food they give you. For a family of four, me my wife and my 10 year old and 5 year old, it came out to $87. I had 3 tacos, my wife had a burrito and my son's had pizza. $87!!! Plus now they include tip on every check!!! I know why... probably because they weren't getting very good tips. Because the food and service sucks, so now they have to add it to your bill so they get something out of it. And every time summer rolls around and it's ninety degrees outside , you go inside and the ac never works and it's always musky and hot and humid in there as well. I would recommend going to La Fuente downtown Brentwood, they give you 3 times as much food for half the price, and the quality of food is extremely better. Last night , unfortunately , will be the last time I take myself or my family to Jaliscos. I don't know what happened to this place, but they need to figure it out or else they will not be in business very much longer. Considering every time I do go in there , there's maybe 5 people total in the entire restaurant. That should tell you something. And finally... why I even went back to this place after this happened ... Two months ago , we were in there for a family dinner birthday , and I got down to the bottom of my chips and noticed that there was a roach deep fried with my chips at the bottom of the basket. I didn't want to make a big scene and tell everyone at the table. So I kind of just covered it up and sent it back to the kitchen when we were all done. Again, why I went back after that happened? I have no idea.I guess I've just tried to give these people multiple chances to get it right. But they just can't seem to do it If you like expensive flavorless food with very little quantity of rice and beans , this is the place for you.
