I'm disgusted, and if I could give no stars, I definitely would. I ordered a variety of food tonight from the McDonald's I've only been to a handful of times, because, well it's usually pretty gross. But tonight my kiddos were looking forward to some kids meals. Not only did I have to wait 15mins for my food, but when I finally got to eat my burger, everyone else was so hungry they dug into theirs without looking, but the meat was slimy, pink/red, undercooked. I'm not talking a little pink, which I like my burgers to be, I'm talking only the outside of this patty was dark and had a solid texture. I have a very weak stomach due to medical issues and threw up immediately. My husband ate 2 burgers and decided to look at the 2 bites of a patty he had left in his box, and guess what, it was slimy pink too! I called right away and told a manager what happened, she asked if I wanted them to remake it and I said no, I'd like a refund, she said okay, bring your receipt in and I'll give you a refund. I get there, and after being asked again if I wanted them to remake it, the manager proceeded to give me a refund of $6. (I spent almost $40, I don't even know if my kid's food was cooked all the way, my husband ate 2 of these same burgers, and she refunded me $6.) I told her after driving all the way back, I was under the impression I could get a full refund, she then offered me a free meal to which I told her I would probably not be returning to McDonald's, she did let me know I could use the free meal coupon anywhere, but after this, I honestly don't want to eat at McDonald's anymore. Ever. I explained all of this to her, and she said, there's nothing else she could do. So here I am, disgusted, and sorry if it's TMI but I'm currently reaping the benefits of that slimy burger as we speak with stomach pains from hell and it coming out the other end! Thanks McDs! And if you decide to still eat here, please at least, check your burgers before chowing down! read more

It's a McDonald's. What more do you need to say? But this one is clean with friendly staff. We don't eat McDonald's food. Sorry Ronald McDonald but we want to live a nice long healthy life. However, I'm seriously addicted to your coffee. So thanks for having a nice clean McDs on the way to Tahoe. I even like that this location is progressive enough to use hand driers in the bathroom instead of the environmentally unfriendly tree killing paper towels. Two stars off for being bad for you food. This one's for the hubby. He insisted I put this one up which I normally wouldn't because its a chain but here goes. On the way up to Reno, he needs a snack, we stop at the nearest Micky D's. We order, pay and pick up food, all in a matter of 5 mins max. My boyfriend and I are addicted to McDonalds fries and Coke (it tastes so much better than anywhere else). So we have had our share of fries from different locations but the fries from this particular location are perfect! We always wait to stop here on our way to Reno from Vallejo because we love the way the fries are made here. Just wanted to give our compliments to the night shift fry chef! The WORST service i've ever received! I went through the drive thru and they messed up the order completely. They gave us a 4 piece nugget instead of tenders, small tea instead of large, no straws for our drink, no sauces we asked for and NO RECEIPT. Just ordered food before closing. Chicken nuggets were not fresh or crispy. Probably were sitting underneath a warmer for awhile. Regardless if your about to close or not food should be HOT and fresh. read more

McDonald's is new and improved in Dixon! However, some of the older McDonald's still have far better customer service. For this newly remodeled store from the ground up, the staff at McDonald's sure does not take pride in it! I've come in the morning when the store first opens at 7am (a late start for any McDonald's hours) and there is often still trash overflowing, dirty floors, tables and handprints all over the windows and door from the previous day. I'd think McDonald's might have an adequate number of staff to attend to the new lobby since they have replaced some of the cashiers for in store order kiosks. I will give this McDonald's 3 stars just because my order is usually correct and the food is ok most of the time. I would give it more stars if not for the hideous drive thru service. Once you reach the window they seem friendly and the order is usually right but the intercom experience is dreadful. When they ask to take my order, I'm assuming they are really going to take it and are paying attention. I can understand if maybe they can't hear me that well and ask me to repeat myself after each item I order... however, they let me ramble through the entire order, and there's always silence at the end. Then they will ask me to repeat it all, or they got the first item and start asking questions about it. They never listened to the rest of the order so I have to repeat all that again, 2 sometimes 3 times. I understand that distractions happen and I can see how this could be a random occasional issue, but this happens every time I go here! They have double drive thru lines, so one time there was a few cars in each lane and I got into the right lane that had one less car. When I got to the speaker, a female asked to take my order. I rambled through it all, then silence, for a really long time. I said hello? a few times, nothing. Finally a male gets on the speaker and says can I help you? I said well I think somone took my order but didn't confirm it. He said oh, um, nobody took your order. So I re-ordered. Mind you, 3 cars that had pulled in after me were already taken care of and headed to the window. Even though the double drive thru lane is supposed to help you get in and out faster, and I was assuming they alternatively take orders, not so in my experience. I would avoid the right lane! It's not just about the wait, it's the frustration of them just not paying attention! read more

We've stopped here a few times on our way out of town and nearly every time we have to pull over and park to wait for our food. This is the only McDonald's I have ever been to that doesn't serve your food fast and hot. WE WILL NEVER STOP HERE AGAIN!!!!! read more

Don't stop here if your on the road and in a hurry. I've been through the drive-thru a few times and every time I've had to pull forward and wait 5 to 10 minutes. My order was simply 2 quarter pounder meals with no special requests. Very frustrating. This time I've decided to never return. read more

First time stopping at this McDonald's and won't again. They have 2 drive thru lines and they don't alternate the ordering from the lines. The line on the right had 3 orders while we were just sitting there. Finally they took the order from the car in front of us and then took 2 orders from the right lane, leaving us waiting. I am a Dixon resident and I have had a lot of problems with dinner hours in the drive thru. Like tonight I ordered my child a happy meal and when I got home it was missing the nuggets! So it didn't my my child very happy! Many timei requested my burgers without ketchup and the burgers came with ketchup with the paper on it reading plain. Don't order a grilled chicken salad, different times I had to wait for them to cook the chicken. One time after 15 minutes of waiting in the parking lot for my salad I walked in and asked why it has been 15 minutes and I don't have my food. The response was "well it takes 14 minutes to cook chicken so you have only had been waiting 1 minute since the chicken was cooked. Needless to say I was not happy with the response! I told them that I'm active military and lived in Japan and everyone in this mcd's needs to go there and train on how to work at a McD's and take pride in there work and respect their customers. They will also train them how to verify each order out. 1. There server checks everything is correct then 2. The manager checks it and gives it to the customer. Every order there is correct and done with pride as if they were serving family. Hope the store manager can pull this team together. Good luck! Dixon is my home and I hope it gets better. This is one of the only McDonalds I enjoy going to and now even more, they have a employee that is very friendly and knows what he's doing. His name is Ivan and makes my experience even better, he knows his stuff and is very fast and takes my order in the drive thru very well. Never had a experience like this before and look forward to hear him at the speaker. Hope all your employees learn from him and hope management knows what they have and use him to train all the employees. Every Sunday for the past four weeks IN A R OW, I and my wife and four children have went thru the drive thru at the McDonalds on Memorial Drive Hwy 11 near Firetower Road in Winterville, NC and ordered four dipped ice cream cones only to be told "sorry the ice cream machine is down for today" I is obvious you DON't WANT to sell ice cream on Sundays for some reason, so as of last week and for the future we just go to the Dairy Queen next door.... read more

Newly renovated, inside looks nice, too much trouble at register, had an egg mcmuffin w/ BIG chunk of egg shell in it, ordered a yogurt & fruit cup--took forever to make it--cancelled the order, young lady said, oh, we're busy! Been here 3 times now . . . coffee is the only safe order! read more

This Mickey D's screwed up our order not once,,,,but twice. We ordered 2 chicken nugget happy meals with apple dippers. They ask what kind of dipping sauce, oh good, they will remember the sauce because they asked ME. Even tho the ordering process was much to be desired because I thought I may have been in another country because of the language barrier between myself and the drive thru person. Sure enough, due to my confidence on the sauce, I didn't check and when we got the food home my granddaughter screamed they forgot my ranch! The next night we went once again to get the grandkids the very same happy meals, even tho they asked me once again what kind of sauce I wanted, when we received our order I told my daughter to check and make sure they put the sauce in.....well she mistook the caramel for the apple dippers for the sauce and said yes it's there but the darn place STILL didn't put in the sauce. Just drove through to get a burger. I said no onions and the no onion tag was on the box. Yet, there was onion all over the burger and the burger was cold. Guess it sat under a heat lamp. I had a caramel Sundae last night. Unfortunately, as I got closer to the bottom of the cup, I ate something that started to burn my throat and had me coughing for a good hour or so. I kept on drinking water, hoping to wash what ever it was down. at bed time my throat was constricting and it was difficult to swallow my saliva. I had to sleep in a sitting position. Women's bathroom was disgusting; wet, used paper towels everywhere, one stall out of order, one stopped up, with pee everywhere, and the other was without toilet paper; so I went and told management. They looked bewildered and I think the manager grumbled "thank you," without looking up at me. When we went to place our order I could not understand the clerk's strong accent. She asked me if I wanted my chicken crispy or "Real." I asked, "as oppsed to unreal??" She giggled and said "okay!" I asked again, "what do you mean, "real?", but then my daughter who has studied Spanish in college, interpreted for me and explained she was saying,"grilled." When our order came up, the manager told my daughter they were out of the salad she had ordered. I don't know why they waited til everything else was ready until they told us. The manager did not offer any alternatives but my daughter asked if she could havea a different salad and she obliged. My grilled, "real" chicken looked like a hot dog wiener instead of chicken which kind-of made me lose my appetite all together. When we went to sit down, there was only one table that was clean, the other 6 or 7 empty tables all had crumbs or leftover food on them. When I went back out to my car to get a sweater, upon going back into the entrance, a tattered, kind-of creepy guy with dreadlocks was sitting on the ground, up against the building, next to the doors and asked me if I had any change. Later, he was inside placing an order. He then disappeared and a few moments later came out of the bathroom carrying a large white paper bag before he picked up his order at the counter. That seemed strange. The restaurant was pretty empty by then. We quickly finished our meal, cleared our table, went to our car, and drove out of the parking lot. We heard sirens coming so we pulled over to the curb. We watched in amazement as both the fire engine and ambulance pulled into the Mcdonalds. As we drove off to get onto the freeway we saw them taking a gurney inside the restaurant. Very strange as Mcdonalds was completely quiet and business as normal when we were just there! So . . what really happened in that bathroom that the dreadlocks guy came out of??? Bizarre! read more

This McDonald's was the worse McDonald's I have ever been too...the service was horrible,the food was cold and gave us the wrong order! I was given the wrong milkshake, fries were cold and we only got 3 orders of fries when 6 of us ordered meals and when I returned to tell them we didn't get the other 3 orders of fries they said we didn't order them. My filet-o-fish was cold and the cheese on it was cold like it just came out of fresh from the fridge, I spoke to manager and did not wanna give me a warm sandwich and had a argument with him because he was saying the filet-o-fish was warm and I to show him that the cheese was cold and never melted... this was not the first time I have experience horrible service at this McDonald's and this will be my last time I will stop by this place.... I give this place a rating of a 0 due to spending about $50 for 6 people and getting horrible service. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! You will get food poisoning from unclean staff not washing their hands or because they spit in your food. Case in point, you hear gross stories about difficult customers getting spit in their food or worse. You would think this only happens to difficult customers. I learned the hard way that disgusting workers do not distingush between the two. I usually make coffee and oatmeal at home for breakfast but this morning i was running late and decided to stop by the neighborhood McDonalds. I ordered my food and started drinking the coffee on my way to work. As soon as I got to work i felt sick to my stomach and had you can think of the rest. This lasted well through late in the afternoon. I finally went and threw away the remaining coffee down the sink when the cup emptied there was a glob, that can only be described as phlem at the bottom of the sink. DISGUSTING! Made me want to throw up. That's why I was feeling sick this morning. Some nasty little scumbag spit a luggy in my cup. You may think, I bet this person deserved it or was nasty but if you knew me, you would know that I'm far from that. But in either case, no matter how mean you are, food should be safe and anyone that thinks this is okay should not work in an industry that involves serving people. Not even animals would be safe around someone that thinks this is ok. If you ever read this, disgusting person at McDonalds, you should be ashamed of yourself. read more
