Note to self - STOP! This update is more for me than anyone else... Go to the Fairfield In N Out! 9.4 miles away and it is also right off the freeway. Quality/Quantity - Usually consistent. Sadly, consistently bad here... My bun was "harder" than normal, AGAIN! Over toasted? Did the oven back up? This has happened too often, I hope this will be my last time with my note above to keep reminding me to drive to the other locations instead... Atmosphere - Very limited parking And with busy Canes here also! Parking is a challenge. Aggressive drivers coming out of the In N Out drive thru and pedestrians do NOT have the right of way here. Consistent, but this location seems smaller than others. Drive thru was much faster than all the other locations I visited. Drive thru is also entered from the right side of parking; you need signage as too many people make u-turns to get in line... Open 7 days a week from 10:30am till 1am or 1:30am; see Yelp or their website. Service - The good news is that the service is still 5 stars; quick, efficient, productive, etc. Thank you. Just need to replace the bun toaster team! But honestly it doesn't matter how great the service is, if the food is NOT edible... Price - $5, very affordable. Great value. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1948 with your 424+ locations and still keeping it within the family!! Thanks for keeping it simple and good!

I know that every time I come they will never get my order wrong. They are quick even with an entire high school in their lobby on a Friday night. The food is hot and crispy. Forever a stop when I visit my home town. The bright interior is exactly the place I love to be with good food and loud laughs.

Looks like nothing much has changed in-out Vacaville in the last 6 or seven years. Still very messy garbage cans, bathrooms gross, tables all a hot mess. Very young staff could care less about cleaning just giggling goofing off behind-the -counter. No ice in the left soda machine. I don't know who's managing this place. But they need retraining. Other locations they care more, here they checked out.

I rarely have issues at any In-N-Out locations, and Vacaville was no different. We had a long drive home, so we decided to stop here and eat first. The drive-thru line was CRAZY long, so we decided to walk in. That didn't help much--there were still tons of people waiting. The cashier wasn't the friendliest we've had, but to be fair, he looked exhausted and it was right in the middle of the dinner rush. I'm 100% sure he was giving us his absolute best with what he was working through. We placed our order and sat down to wait for our food. This location is smaller than the one we have in the Bay, but it was still very clean and cozy. The music wasn't too loud, so we could actually chat while we waited. We did have to wait over 20 minutes, but like I said, it was the dinner rush. I was starving, so maybe this isn't the most accurate rating--or maybe it is--but the food was delicious and came out hot and fresh. They did pack it into three bags, which was kind of weird since it wasn't that much food, but all in all, we'd definitely stop by again. Just maybe not during dinner rush.

Riding through Vacaville to get back home, we decided to stop here to get our favorite menu item but were thoroughly disappointed. All the other In-N-Outs I've ever been to have always had a long line, but the food was always good. This is the first time in my In-N-Out history where we got fries that were fried way too hard for both my burger meal and my daughter's animal fries. These fries were not slightly overcooked. They were burnt on the ends and you could see it, and they did not take the time to redo the fries to make sure that my order was satisfactory. I don't live in Vacaville. We were just passing through and I did not have time to stop and complain so we just ate the food anyway because we hadn't eaten all day and we had to get back to Sacramento by a certain time, but I promise you we will never stop at this location again. to see that these fries were extremely overcooked with burnt tips and to not take the time to redo the order was completely unacceptable.

Food- the same as every other INO you've tried. It's good but it is nothing special. Service- they fling it at you sequentially. No epic waiter. Zero stars. Ambiance- loud and crowded! No dimly lit table cloth. It was what I'd expected, maybe with a smaller dining room. Pretty busy with limited seating at the hour I'd gone. Food is EXACTLY the same. Service is nonexistent beyond the register and pickup counter. Fairly awkward location with a limited number of parking spaces. No reason to get too excited. Another instance of a well-run chain.

Burgers aren't seasoned anymore and the meat is bland. The meat is so thin now the patties on my last 2 burgers weren't intact. They skimp on the grilled onions such that they seem non-existent. The veggies (tomato & lettuce) are fresh. The fries were mixed with fresh and overcooked (or stale). Drive thru is slower than ever. Can't recommend them at this time.

From entering the restaurant we were promptly greeted from the friendliest staff. We asked for outdoor seating in the little patio area to soak up some sun. Our waiter Austin promptly came to our table and suggested a few beers. Since I couldn't decide, I went for a flight to try a few. One of my favs was a sour too bad I can't remember the name. We got the Asian fries as an appetizer and they were delish ! Perfect crisp and toppings. We'll def be back when in the area. Great service from Austin ! Because you can also major in BURGERS!!! I looked up the best burgers in Vacaville, and that was on the list. So off we go. We brought our dog as they are dog friendly,,,as long as YOUR dog is friendly. Outside seating is where we were at. It was a beautiful night, the ambiance was cool bar motif, beer cans as tables and front of a classic and a water fountain (not turned on) the FIFA was on TV that night and had the game playing outside. The food: The burgers were as advertised delicious, good meat fresh vegetables lettuce, tomatoes, real cheese yum yum. My wife had the Nachos she enjoyed them, as did I, mmm stolen Nachos from the wife's plate. I had the calamari, mine unfortunately was way overcooked, rubbery like a chew toy, had good flavor but it was rubber. If fresh calamari can be eaten raw, so it can be easily over cooked. But the burgers were worth the trip. Service; Top notch, our server noticed our bog, (hard to miss a Big dog) the brought us a dog plate (picture included) we had fun there lots of laughs and smiles. Great place come try it. And bring the kids and your dog

Our servers were great, but the hostess stood out for the wrong reasons. We came in 6/6/2026 for reference around 12pm. Our party of 10 was quoted a 30-minute wait, which we were happy to accept. After waiting, we checked in with the hostess only to be told that our table had been given away and our name had been removed from the list because she claimed she called us several times. No one in our group heard our name called. What was most frustrating was the lack of effort to help resolve the situation. The hostess was dismissive and seemed uninterested in finding a solution. This was particularly difficult because my 4-year-old niece has autism, and unexpected changes and long waits can be very challenging for her. A little patience, understanding, and compassion would have gone a long way. As longtime customers, we expected better communication and customer service. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a couple of employees at the balloon archway at the front of the restaurant, handed each of us a National Tri Tip Day sticker and told about the specials they had for this event: free tri tip sandwiches for the first 100 people, $5 draft beers and a chance to win free tri tips for 1 year. They were decently busy, so we opted to order at the outside pickup window and take our order home to eat. We ordered 4 tri tip sandwiches to take home ($43.21 with tax). When I opened up my Buckhorn Rewards App, I saw that I had an 1 year celebration reward (5oz Burnt Ends w/ Fried Onion Strings), I redeemed that with my order. At the ordering counter the had a QR code to enter their "Free Tri Tips for a Year" drawing, which I entered. Both their tri tip sandwiches and Burnt Ends were delicious! They had some side sauces (chipotle ranch and sweet fire BBQ) that I poured onto the sandwich and then I dipped the sandwich in their Au Jus which was a great combination. I believed the tri tip sandwiches are normally $15.50, but were $9.99 for today's event, it was a great deal. Buckhorn BBQ and Grill is a great place for the BBQ meat lover. Their prices are not cheap, but the quality is there. They do have some deals on the menu and specials on certain days such as $10 for 3 fish tacos on Fridays. It was a 5 minute drive, located in a small shopping center. The left side of the store is facing the parking lot while the entrance is on other side. Plenty of parking. We were welcomed by the owner, Safi. Everything on their menu was reasonably priced. I initially ordered the Combo Plate and lamb & beef Gyro; then after I paid, I saw the Philly Cheesesteak and had a craving for that instead. I asked if I could still change my order and pay the difference in cash, Safi changed my order and told me not to worry about the difference. We dined in, a few minutes later our food came with generous portions and absolutely delicious! We were also given orange slices and complimentary baklava. The baklava was so flaky and not soaked in syrup which, I like. I asked if they make their own baklava and was told that it's ordered from Sacramento to support another local business! Customer service hasn't been what it used to, so it was a nice gesture. The decor reminded me of In-N-Out, with its vintage feel.
