I don't listen to my own advice! Forgot about the new HUGE rock at the entrance to the parking lot and ONLY avoided it because of my sharp eyed passenger. Just looking at the rock suggest dozens (or perhaps many more) vehicular impacts. I would like to think Deliberate Indifference to the problem is not an issue, but just looking at the rock tells another story. If you drive a vehicle of any size, please be careful! Loaded up on gas at Chevron across the street and McDonald's is in view. Friendly service, modern restaurant, and food is hot. My decaf coffee was served up super hot, I like. First time at this restaurant. It appears to be brand-new. At least, the furniture and interior is brand new. My order was promptly and correctly taken. They even brought the order out to me at this McDonalds. So many fast food restaurants these days have terrible service, it was good to find one that had good service! This place was absolutely amazing! I went here at 3:00 pm and ordered a 10 pc. McNugget with an Oreo Mcflurry. I sat down and the table and seats were spotless and clean. This was ready in no joke less than 1 minute. The nuggets were super crispy and tasted absolutely amazing. The employees working at the time were super friendly and greeted me as I walked in. Wow! This McDonald's has the best service I have ever experienced at this chain. I ordered at the counter, was given a number, and my food was brought out promptly to my table. The order taker was very friendly and polite, as was my server! Amazing! The food was standard McD's fare and tasted fine. The location is either new or recently redone, and looked great. If a customer is standing in front of your counter for over 20 minutes and no one employee comes to see what they are waiting for there is no customer service. When that customer shows an employee their receipt and order number and that employee does nothing about it, that really ruins the ambiance. And then when you have to get upset to get anyone to pay attention to you and help you and then tell you they never even got your order together and then they give you sloppy garbage instead of what you wanted, then the food sucks too. How are these people getting paid $16+ per hour when they don't even know who to function as competent human beings. Come on people! my 12 year old has more common sense then this whole night crew! Crispy chicken sandwich was overcooked, bun almost burnt. Quarter pounder hamburger patty was charred and dry. Filed complaint on McDonald's corporate web site, received email stating that our complaint was forwarded to the owner/manager of the Dixon location and that someone would be contacting us regarding the issue. It's been two weeks and no response yet, I guess they don't really care about what their customers have to say. We will be skipping this McDonald's in the future. read more

McDonald's seems to really be pushing ordering online or through their app. So much that they will give you a 2 for 1 coupon just for ordering ahead. Unfortunately, our local Dixon McD's can't figure those orders out, despite being recently renovated and upgraded with all the latest tech... In the past, whenever I came here, they would always miss something: be it the sauce, straw, or Happy Meal toy... Since this is McDonald's and the expectations are low, I didn't hold it against them. At least not that much. But last night upon placing an order through their app (and paying through the app); upon arriving at the drive thru, an employee at the register had no clue what she was doing. Immediately she gave me the wrong price and then called her manager without even telling me what was happening. All along she had a lost look on her face, like she screwed something up and didn't know how to fix it. Once the assistant manager came over, she said the coupon couldn't be applied because the payment wasn't processed (?). I showed them the order and the coupon on my phone but all i got was a suggestion to call the corporate if I get double charged. Upon hearing that "constructive" suggestion, I just told them to cancel my order. When they did that, they asked if there was anything at all I would like. Well, no thanks! If for nothing else McDonald's is known as a convenience: quick and edible. If this location can't familiarize their own staff (including Assistant Managers) with their own app and coupons, then I don't know why I should even come here again. Not only they can't get it right, their suggestion to call corporate is not worth my time or money. After all, there are 3 similar establishments in the radius of 100 ft from this McD's that can (hopefully) get the food out fast without any major screw-ups... read more

I went to McDonalds and ordered a Crispy chicken sandwich and when eating it I noticed the texture was a little tough looked at it and seemed fully cooked, as I got towards the whole sandwich I took a bite off a chewier tough piece and it was raw. I spit it out but I had eaten most of it. Never again will I buy anything from here. read more

After being told to go find the change in my car, she had to ring me up again and told me that i had to wait 15 minutes for my points to go back on my app. After finally getting my food, it looked like my burger had been just thrown into the box. i work in fast food already but this is just ridiculous! read more

The atmosphere is very nice at this McDonald's. Downside was the fries that we received because they only filled half of the container for the large fries. We asked the employee and he said that it is a large. Sorry we forgot to take a photo of the fries. On the otherhand, the fries were very good. they were fresh, crispy and moist. read more

McDonald's can never get more than a three star rating in my snobby book, so the fact that this one has a three star rating before we showed up means that it's a pretty good McDonald's. Friendly people working here and it's a safe environment that doesn't smell icky in the corners. No one begging, pretty clean. It's actually part of a really nice roadstop area with all kinds of fast food choices, gas stations, local places, and even a Safeway close by. The whole area makes this MickieDeez pretty nice. Dixon is definitely the place to stop when doing a road trip between the Bay and Sac. As for me, a quick cup of McDonald's coffee where I can ask them to add however much sugar and cream to the cup for less than a $1.50 is perfect to keep me truckin'. I also have a real soft spot for the McDouble and the brefess sammiches. read more

Ordered an ice coffee (basic me) and a double cheese burger (I was on the go). The meat (if it's actually meat) was.... it was rubbery and definitely microwaved several times 3x over. My fingers got a bit messy and reached into the paper bag for a napkin....oops! Forgot it was McDonald's, silly me, no napkins! Decided to try McDonald's new Crispy Chicken sandwich. Don't normally due fast food and definitely now know why. This was CRAP. For $8.29 they should give the customer the whole chicken. Stopped by during this long weekend drive to get my needed typical travel food that keeps my mind occupied and me awake while I drive: a vanilla milkshake and McD's fries. Horrible experience, every time I go through drive thru I get home and have the wrong food. Today I ordered glazed chicken nuggets with a small fry $7.28. Got home and had 2 sausage mcmuffins, no fry and no chicken! Went back and they (Susana the manager) refused to give me a refund. Very poor customer service. Ever since they rebuilt this McDonald's it has been absolutely horrible. We order a burger and it comes out stone cold. Go to get ice cream and the machine is down. Tonight was the last straw though! We went through the drive thru to get some McFlurrys and we pay for them and everything then once we pull up to the next window to collect our food they tell us that "they told the guy taking orders that the machine was down awhile ago and they don't have ice cream." This McDonalds was recently remodeled. I mean, leveled to the ground and completely rebuilt. All their equipment was brand new when put in yet their ice cream is always "broken today". I've been here 5-6 times since they opened to get my kids ice cream cones only to find out their damn ice cream machine is broken! I'm convinced they either don't have one or someone keeps forgetting to call the repair guy. Always make sure you check your bag to ensure your order is correct. read more

Drive through service was particularly courteous and friendly today, had to give them a shout out. Had a double quarter, no cheese, and it tasted pretty fresh and healthy, for a burger! Pitt School Road is our usual stop when driving from South Lake Tahoe to San Fransisco, lot's of services there, and easy on/off the freeway. read more

Poor service and they usually get your order wrong. The bathrooms are almost always messy and food sits in the trays for longer then the recommended amount of time. The amount of times I've seen ppl touch their hair with gloves and touch other body parts is gross and it's below average even for McDonald's. read more
