This place used to be not too bad. Used to be. Now it seriously sucks all around. Last time I went I applied for a job. Well at the time if you weren't black or white you had a job no questions asked. I went for 3 interviews that NEVER HAPPENED. Each time the mexican managers pretended like they didn't know english or me. Even after talking to me a few hours prior. I was hardly 5 foot in when two of them told me that I needed to leave or else. I explained that I was there for the interview... CONSISTENTLY gets my order extremely wrong and is really shady about the times it decides to make fries and then lie about when they're being sold. It's kinda weird that I went in at 10 wanting fries as my side and they say they don't make them until 10:30 when I saw two tables already eating fries as I walked in. In the last 8 years they've been through a lot of changes, but have improved over time. The inside is a lot cleaner and my orders are actually right 95% of the time. Sad, sad and sadder service. I went in to get a coffee for mom. It took 23 minutes of waiting around; a blank and unfeeling greeting from a young man that seemed more interested in just standing around. I should have known what to expect when I saw the drive thru backed up onto the street and seeing a few unsmiling facial expressions. Lately, within these few years this location went from being well organized/managed with employees that tried their best to offer good service and cleanliness. Now, it is more like you should come in blind and not care that it's appears clean, yet not the case. Employees standing around more occupied with flirting, texting;even one selfie inclined. I know we have more choices now, but McDonald's is an icon that even has been where two of my siblings have fun work memories. To be the owners of this McDonalds, the Fergusons should be ashamed that they are so stingy with the condiments. They have their employees so scared that they might get caught allowing someone to ask for and get an extra sugar packet, pat of that nasty frozen butter (let it defrost a little bit guys), or a packet of jelly or ketchup. I know condiments cost money but, having customers that actually hate eating there because you have fostered such a Stallin like approach to managing your people and your condiment cost. What were you drinking when you chose the new exterior and exterior color of restaurant. It look awful and can't be good on utilities. What were you thinking? Why are you wasting our precious water in that stupid fountain by where you order? First it makes it harder to hear, (so you make your employees stand in the heat to take the order) all because of that goofy water fountain. Not only that but, when my grandchildren hear it working, they all of a sudden feel they must go pee pee. I do not allow them to just get out because traffic, so, I now must order the food, pull up to the window and pay for it, then pull to another window and hopefully get my order. Through out the ordering process, paying process and even the picking up the food process I have ask for at least one ketchup per order of fries, at least one jelly per biscuit item or Egg McMuffin. You make your employees shove the bag of food out so fast that i could see them breaking a window glass in my ca if it were ever rolled up. Once everyone verifies that the bag shoved through our window has the correct foods but does not have the condiments, we get the person that shoved the bag into our car window's attention and explain no jelly is not a good thing and neither is no ketchup or butter. The person that works for the restaurant has been trained by the Fergusons to never give a condiment away when you can sell it. So the bag shover person says ketchup, Jelly, butter.....that will be $1.00. To which I say we never got them to begin with so why are we being ask to pay for what we never got in the first place? The bag shover person does not miss a beat in saying give me back your bags, yes all of them so Incan verify you really didn't get those condiments and you're just trying to get more for free. They paw through the bag and find no condiments in the bag and as they put the amount allowed one per except on Chicken McNuggets in which case you order a 20 piece and get 2 sauces, and don't even think about asking for more, because you ain't going to get it. By this time the car behind you has probably overheated, and horns have been blowing off and on throughout the whole ordeal. But, for you my friend you are headed home until the Grandchildren remember the useless fountain that made them decide they must Pee Pee now, so you pull into a parking spot get out of the car and go inside to let them go to the restroom. But, life isn't that easy, the manager looking person has the nerve to say that the restrooms are reserved for paying customers only. So you offer to go to the car and get the shoved food bag and show it to them to gain entry to the "throne room". But, the person that stopped you in the beginning of your track to the restrooms has a change of heart and says and I quote, "he will allow me to take my Grandchildren to the bathroom this time. Like this guy is doing me a really big favor. By the time the Grandchildren pee pee and get back into the car the food is stone cold but, we will eat it because of all we were put through to get it. I ask them did you wash your hands to which every one of them said a resounding no. To which I ask why not and again a resounding you rushed us and seemed like you were mad so we hurried. I can't no won't go back in and be scolded about the restrooms are for paying customers only. So I took a napkin and wet it on the condensation from the cold drinks and told the Grandchildren that these damp napkins had special hand cleaning properties. I know it was a lie but, maybe they wouldn't tell anyone about it. Yeah that happened, I thought my wife was going to nominate me for worst Grandfather of the year. Thank you, Jimmy and Cindy Ferguson and McDonalds for over cooked eggs and dried out biscuits. I was going to give you 2 stars but after thinking about it, give me one of them back, you get a grand total of 1 star, only because you didn't kill any of us yet. For the sake of your health DO NOT eat here, unless you want a side of BUG with that. This store shouldn't even get one star, it's more like negative five stars. After my sons school function today, he was hungry and just wanted chicken nuggets. Went through the drive-through and ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget meal, a large strawberry milkshake, and a small sprite. First the shake was over filled and the lid was not properly snapped and the drink bursted open, spilled all in my clean truck. And when I spoke to the manager about it all I got was we can wipe it up for you. Hello is on my freaking seats and carpet. How about pay to have it cleaned but NOPE sorry we don't care about your $45,000 truck. Then to top it off we find a BUG in my sons meal. I quickly and loudly when back into the store and told the manger just how I felt about my child being served a nasty ass BUG, on top of my truck having to be professional cleaned. After a full day of shopping with my kids and them begging for ice cream I decided to stop at this Mcdonalds. HUGE mistake! I have had a couple bad experiences from this location but I figured they could not mess up an ice cream cone. So I pull in and order 4 cones. When I get to the window, the extremely rude cashier barks at me the ice cream machine is "down for cleaning". At 3 in the afternoon? Okay, so I ask them if they have any cookies and tell them I will take 2 packs of cookies. I get to the next window and the lady tells me to pull forward. From past experiences at this location I know better than to pull forward. So I say no, at which point she yells at me to "pull forward now". Um I think not. I tell her I am not pulling forward to wait for 2 packs of cookies. She yells something in spanish and then a manager shows up, she tells me to pull forward also. I told her I am not going to pull forward so I can wait 15 minutes for a couple cookies. She then tells me I am getting oatmeal cookies instead of chocolate chip which is fine to me and tells me "next time you'll know to pull forward". I put in a complaint to the main office and I will never go back to this location again, even if it is just for something small. I would rather drive back into Austin than deal with this location and its crew again. read more

I have pretty much stopped going to this store, but every now and then, I get a taste for a Big Mac and Fries, and will stop on my way home. I always do take out, the place is too dirty to eat, and I live about 10 miles from the store. First problem, the person taking the order may only speak poor English and if you don't order one of the numbered menu items, there's no telling what you'll get. Second problem, on several occasions, I have ordered multiple items, only to get home to find out they did not put everything in the bag. Now I will share yesterday's mess - a neighbor got me a Big Mac on their way through town. It was terrible, not even assembled correctly. From the bottom up, I had a bottom bun that was falling apart from the special sauce globed on top of it, next was a pile of lettuce, then the center bun, next was a beef patty, then cheese, then another beef patty, and finally the bun top. Now, what does it take to properly assemble a Big Mac??? The beef patties, stuck together by the cheese, were way over cooked on the top and bottom of the blob, but the sides stuck by cheese appeared to be normally cooked with some pieces of bread stuck to the cheese (I tried to pull them apart to place one on the bottom part of the sandwich but they would fall apart). My impression of the beef/cheese mess - looks like they had a double cheese burger, or something, sitting too long under the light waiting to be sold and reused the meat and cheese for a new burger by reheating on the grill which is why only the top and bottom of the blob were over cooked. The taste was terrible, and after a couple bites, I threw it out. It is doubtful I'll ever have a taste for a Big Mac again. I wonder when this place has had their last health inspection? read more
