Super packed and busy McDonald's especially since it's a rest stop area and it's right next to the Tesla chargers too. Despite this, service is super friendly and very efficient despite how bustling the restaurant is with almost all tables occupied, people ordering from the kiosks, and just asking staff questions all around. But there's a reason this location has won so many awards. They're great at what they do. We were in and out fairly quickly and the quality of our food was decent for what McDonald's is too. Crisp nuggets, came with the sauces that we need, yummy small portion of fries, and fresh crispy apples. Love that the restaurant itself is decorated and personalized with the fruit balloons and decor to signify the new drinks that they introduced as well as a cute little sign describing each drink. There's also staff shout outs on the wall too. I know this is sort of in the middle of nowhere, so the fact that the staff pulled this off altogether is noteworthy of praise for sure. Feels less corporate and soulless. Wouldn't mind stopping here again. read more

Dropped by here near the end of December. The place looked festive with all the colorful decorations: Grinch and elf posters, balloons of various joyful colors (green, light green, yellow, red, light red, dotted red, ...), etc. Staff was great. The young lady was kind enough to give me a cup of hot water when that was all that I asked for since I had no appetite. It even came in a cute cartoon-designed Grinch-themed cup. read more

I don't understand the low ratings. Everyone here was so friendly, asking if you need help at the kiosk, if you need anything else like ketchup while eating and even asking if we need garbage taken out. Employees seem so nice and the area was so clean. read more

Took 13 minutes for them to process my order for a large fries table-side. I had to go to the counter to inquire after them. Such a simple order, but they appear to prioritize mobile orders over any table orders. Their system appears to be off, only allowing them to view one order at a time. read more

Associate requested everyone behind me to go to the kiosk to order and then to get in line to pay. It seems like a lot to get in line twice but overall it was fine. read more

Awful service. So poorly run. I couldn't place my order until I got a table placeholder with a number on it. I had to go hunt for my own since there were none at the kiosks. The instructions said to go sit at the table and they'd bring me my order. Took me 5 minutes to realize they were screaming thr order number at the counter for me to go pick it up. read more

Honestly this is a busy location, but they get those orders out quickly. We ordered through the kiosk and our food was ready in under 5 minutes. Everything was almost right too! They did remember to take off the cheese from my McMuffin order but they also took the cheese off my husband's McGriddle, which was not how we ordered it, so he was less than thrilled but it all worked out. This location is worth it for the convenience alone, although it can be difficult finding parking as it's connected to a gas station. It's gets very busy as many use the restrooms too! read more

This Mickey D's location is attached to a gas station so I'm sure it's gets loads of foot traffic from hungry and road-weary travelers like myself craving for comfort fast food. They have kiosks and encourage patrons to use them. When I visited at like 4am on a weekday it looked like they only had 2 staff working and were getting overwhelmed by the few customers trickling in from the freeway. I ordered right off the menu and was disappointed in how long it took staff to re-add regular coffee as a drink option for my biscuit sandwich combo. I was told by the staff person taking my order that regular coffee was removed from the menu yesterday because they ran out of coffee...I rolled my eyes towards the giant coffee station in the adjacent gas station convenience store. To save time, kindly asked to ignore the drink option, but they didn't work out in my favor...as the button clicking had already begun as the line behind me grew. Anywho...they also had multiple signs informing patrons that they are completely out of McCafe options. They didn't stop the guy behind me from trying to order McCafes... My order came out quickly: - Biscuit sandwich combo with hash browns and regular coffee: sandwich and coffee were done properly, but my hash browns were barely warm which is lame because all they have to do is reheat them - Big breakfast combo with sausage and hotcakes: it was assembled properly and served warm, but they forgot the butter I've had worse roadtrip fast food meals. What an awful manager. Another lady and I were at the counter after we received our order. She was waiting because they forgot her coffee and I was waiting because they gave me hot mustard instead of honey mustard. No acknowledgement from anyone. The manager, wearing an apron that said manager, was within earshot and chose to ignore the other lady. Another lady was standing there looking at her phone for like 10 minutes and then clocked out. So she didn't want to do any work and was watching the time on her phone. One employee also left and looked at the people waiting and said "not my problem, I'm off" and she laughed. Only one lady was putting the meals together for sit down and drive through. I felt bad for her but when we got her attention she helped us. The manager is a lazy loser. read more

I stopped here in the morning. Before it gets trampled by guest I guess. Looking at the reviews makes it seem like this is an awful experience. But who writes about their positive experiences at Mc Donald's? I guess I will today. I made a stop here in the morning, driving to LA. Bathroom stop, but why not get food. It was clean inside. Stopped on my way to LA to order a McDouble, which is a rare treat. I already hit the freeway when I started eating it. There were no pickles (which 100% make the burger) and no ketchup. It was also served in a large bag with no napkins. This isn't high quality food but I've never had a more low quality McDouble and felt like a waste of a treat. This McDonald's is in an unfortunate location, attached to a gas station and right off Highway 5. I'm sure they get a ton of people coming in every day so the workers are trying to accommodate them as best as they can while being underpaid. But honestly, it was just gross. The tables were sticky and unwiped, all trash cans were filled, and there was trash everywhere. Most if not all the electronic ordering kiosks were glitching when trying to pick through anything that gave you options. The ladies' room didn't have toilet paper or soap and all the trash cans in there were overflowing. Toilet paper and trash was all over the floor. But the bathroom was part of the gas station so I guess that's not on them? The food is fine. Standard McDonald's, hard to mess that up. We got our food pretty quickly at 4pm on a Sunday. When you're on a road trip seems three things come to mind that herald a pit stop: fill up gas, use the restroom and buy a fast meal you can eat while continuing on. On this particular drive we came upon snow, wind then rain in a matter of hours. The food choices were slim and pretty much were Subway, Jack In The Box and McDonalds. I saw an outside restroom where people were lined uo so I went there. My daughter walked her pup. So much smarter than me, she was in line for the restroom inside. This McD's was actually in another store and there were rotating sausages being cooked. Pass through the signed doorway and there are kiosks like the airport but instead of a boarding pass you get an order receipt. So modern. This is the WORST McDonalds I have ever been in. Service? What service? We walked in and there was no one behind the counter and very few signs telling us what to do. We figured out that we needed to order either from the kiosk or the mobile app. We did that but the kiosk wasn't working so we hunted around for a human. Couldn't find one. There were a few customers around so we knew there had to be someone working. Finally a girl came out of the deep recesses of the back and she figured out what was wrong and we placed our order. It.
