It's been a while since I visited a McDonald's, so I was surprised at how impersonal the service has become. I used the mobile app to order and was hoping to pick up my order inside the restaurant to eat-in. The app wasn't clear on how to accomplish that, so I came inside the restaurant hoping to ask an employee how to pick up my meal. One problem, no one came to the counter, despite the fact I was standing there a couple of minutes. I ended up picking up my order through the drive-in, but there was confusion over whether I prepaid or not (I had). Had the worst experience ever here in the Fish Hatchery road McDonalds. I ordered the $6 value meal. I ordered for dine in. Other people got their orders before us that came in after. Finally went to the counter. They had the food in a to go bag that was sitting. Did not bring the food to the table. The food was not hot. The McDouble looked like they smashed it together and no onions. Went to the counter. The girl got me another McDouble. No onions again. Went up again got another McDouble. No onions again. Now the rest of my food was cold. Got another McDouble no onions again. I told the girl all my food is cold now. Wanted to talk to a manager. No one here spoke English. She replaced my other items but those were not even hot. All the workers only spoke Spanish. This is the worst experience I have ever had somewhere. The service and food was awful. read more

Honestly one of the worst McDonald's experiences I've ever had. They messed up my order TWICE, and all I ordered was a simple hamburger with just ketchup on it. Literally one of the easiest orders possible, and they still couldn't get it right. When I went inside to get it fixed, I stood there for over 10 minutes before anyone even bothered to acknowledge me. Not a "hi," not a "we'll be right with you"--nothing. Just employees walking around pretending not to see me. By the time I finally got my food, I was annoyed, hungry, and honestly questioning why this location is even open if they can't handle the basics. Went through the drive thru for a caramel frappe and a mocha frappe. By the time we got to the window they were handing us somebody else's food, and gave a confuse look when we told them we only ordered the drinks. "Did you order?" Was the response. Why would be in line if we hadn't ordered, what kind of logic runs this persons brain. When we then asked for a receipt as this was a less than ideal situation, we were told we couldn't as the printer was out of paper. Having worked multiple service industry jobs I know that printers run out of paper, I also know that you have paper back there somewhere to refill it. When they finally did get more paper into the printer, it printed what must have been at least 30 tickets before ours actually came up which raises questions of how many people might have gotten a raw deal with no record of it. read more

Change the oil more often! Change the oil more often! Have you ever eaten fries that were cooked in old oil? What was the horrible look on your face after you took a drink of your soda? Exactly. Put the receipt in the bag, don't make me ask, just do it. I don't care if you have to change the receipt paper roll in the printer and it's a pain in the ass. no goodbye, no thank you, no nothing. just a blank look or nothing at all. The guest dining area looks like a cold war era factory, complete with shiny steel tables, I never see anyone in there. STOP dumping and showering salt all over the fries, we want to be able to eat them. Save your store some money and just throw a little salt packet in the bag for people to salt their own. Saves money, time, avoids complaints, and avoids people like me requesting fries with no salt. My only guess is Missoula has a contract with Morton or something. I asked for something and then got the blank stare of not understanding english, you know the one. She had to go get the manager to talk to me,,, so I could ask for ketchup packets. Is it standard practice of Mcdonalds to hire non-English speakers to run the front register and the drive thru window? No soft drinks at all Food substandard even for Micky D. Dining room empty and trashed . On my way out I asked how long the restraint has been without pop. It's a good McDonald's! Sometimes it can be a little slow, but it's McDonalds.. I don't except super fast service 100% of the time. All the employees are nice and friendly! This has got to be the nicest McDonald's I have ever been to. It is calm and clean in here. They have these kiosks where you can order your food and customize your order. The turn in from fish hatchery is a little tricky if you're coming from downtown but I must say, I will be coming back. read more

We tried to use the drive through at around 3PM. We only wanted a coffee. No one answered at the intercom. After about five minutes, we pulled up to the window. The woman at the window was extremely rude, and told us that she couldn't serve us because she needed her manager, who was in his car. I've worked in food service, so I don't normally leave these kind of reviews, but did no one in the building know how to pour a coffee? If you're not going to serve people, just stay closed. This location is horrible! Went there today through drive-thru. Had to repeat our orders again and again. Towards the end our order was not even correct. Had big Mac with no cheese but it came with it. Ordered one double quarter pounder and one melted crispy chicken sandwich but came home with one quarter and one double quarter pounder. Not a good experience ever. We decided to try the one on Park Street last night instead- much better l. This location is always unclean, slow as all hell, and the manager (?) wearing the blue sweater in the evenings is always so RUDE to us. She's constantly rolling her eyes... and we order SIMPLE things (literally just fries and a shake, once) and we always use the kiosk. Always understaffed, and I always see employees jumping between working and talking to who I assume is their family in the lobby- when there's orders on the board that need to be finished? Here at 12:15 AM on a Sunday right now and the drive through has chairs placed over it to indicate being closed and the entrance doors are locked. Very disappointed. They told my mother that the grill isn't working so they microwave everything and they don't serve good breakfast sandwiches time and time again we've given them a chance to no resolve.
