This is our go-to McDonald's and the favorite place for our kids. Located at the center of Forest Hills, but not always crowded. It had been shut down for decoration last year, and now has a new and fancy look. We like the self-order kiosks so we don't have to wait in the line. Also with the kiosk order, the employee will deliver the food to our table. That's really nice! Their food is fresh, and service is also quick.The only disadvantage is they don't have a parking lot and also don't provide the drive-through service. We are OK with this as this place is close to our home. read more

All sandwiches prepared and sitting on hotplates awaiting expedition. My baby likes this store very much. Happy meals priced only $3.27 with different kinds of toys all the time. Breakfast manual $1-$3 foods offered all day long, good for customers with small budget or stomach. Soft drink is only $1 whatever small or large. Ice cream one cone is only $1.29. I think it's funny that you can rate a McDonalds on yelp but here I go. First, before I begin, what did you all expect? Why expect so much from a 24 hour McDonald's? To be honest, I'm ashamed to say I've come here like at least a dozen times because it's convenient. Mostly because it's the worst McDonald's I've ever been to in my life. It's insane how bad each experience is but yet I still give in when I crave those fries. Fries like crack. The staff is laughably bad at giving off any sense of professionalism, they're almost all stoned teenagers who randomly shout during their constant conversations. The food usually looks like a 2 year old boy threw it together, the fries cold 75% of the time. I've gotten sick like 3 different times after eating here, there was a hair in my sandwich once, and the coffee is pure diarrhea in a cup. I worked at a fast food restaurant for my first job, and I can understand why this all goes on. There's no reason to expect anything really when you pay so little is how 99% of the staff is at McDonalds. Except for the ok ones in Manhattan. But even those suck still. I still don't understand the point of reviewing them... 1 or 2 stars max, no one gives a shit. People still go and always will, they knew what they were getting into when they chose to eat here. It serves me right! As someone who does not frequent fast food franchises, like ever, I saw a sign in the window for a Rolo McFlurry and was enticed. I mean, dont get me wrong- a mcflurry can be a wonderful thing. Nostalgic even! And as a lover of Rolo candies I thought this combination of soft serve vanilla ice cream and chocolate caramel candies was a match made in heaven. It had potential. It really did. But the caramel was poured into this in Excess. Taking a spoonful was difficult. There was more caramel than chocolate and this thing was overly sweet. It was hard to get through. I ordered a side of fries to help make the sweetness more tolerable... but i still couldnt get through the solid lumps of caramel. To add insult to injury, I checked into this place and was bombarded with questions from friends and family. "Are you ill?" "Is it just for the ATM?" "Are you PMSing and craving fries?" Apparently I'm on a 1 star review kick... Or maybe it's just that I was on a weird fast food kick for a couple of days. Thankfully I'm over it now but it meant I was treated to some awful service to get the greasy food I so desperately craved. When I got here, the three lines were very, very long and moving at a snail's pace. Then suddenly one of the longer lines closed, but the cashier who left didn't actually tell anyone and so we all remained on the line. When some angry customer figured it out, the lines mingled in a very disorganized manner. People were cut, people had to move to the back of the line, people got very upset and angry. When it was finally my turn to order (another cash register had opened up), some random 13-year-old girls jumped in front of me, and the cashier took their order like nothing amiss had happened. Luckily, the wait between ordering and getting my food wasn't *too* long, but the entire ordeal really punctured a hole in the whole "fast food" name. read more

This specific location has extremely bad customer service. The staff and the managers are horrible. They would yell at you and not care about customers experience. I went here a couple times and found them yelling at other customers in front of me while i was waiting in line. The manager did not know how to handle conflicts when customers demand more attention. He would just shoe you away and try to get as much business as possible. These people really need not to work in customer service department. Go clean the toilets or something! Long wait. Workers move slowly and don't really give a damn about getting you your food. Even when it's quiet and not crowded, a line somehow forms. Or if they take everyone's order, there's a long line of people waiting for the food to come out. Big place. Looks old and out dated. You don't want to sit here and eat your meal leisurely. Bathrooms are dirty, but that's kind of expected. No screaming children like the one I go to on Queens Blvd in Elmhurst, because of their play pen area. Chris was one of the reasons why I did not want to come back. I really was very upset of how the service was. Now today is a 180% different. K so this thought passes and soon after my coworker joins me so we're talking and talking and we start talking about the food... I always cringe when I walk into this place. The WORST McDonalds ever. Always crowded with junkies, the place is smelly and dirty. The staff doesn't acknowledge customers and when they DO, they act as if THEY are the ones being inconvenienced! They talk over you as you order, hastily take your card to swipe it and shove it back to you with a receipt, and then immediately yell NEXT. There is always a long wait for food, and every time I get fries or hash browns they are cold and chewy. If you ask for ketchup or sauce or napkins, be prepared to receive a dirty look! Well I've complained to corporate through the McDonald's website about being denied my two-fer of the two double Filet-o-fish sandwiches and I got the most nonsensical, totally bureaucratic bullshine response that had nothing to do with the price of rice in China imaginable. I now realize that using the McDonald's website this way to lodge a complain is obviously less than useless (see below); I will now (when I have time) be writing directly to the CEO of McDonald's, Don Thompson; his predecessor, Jim Skinner, had come up with the slogan "Being Better, Not Just Bigger." Gee, he sure had me fooled. PS, Here is the response I got back by email after complaining about being denied my two, double Filet O Fish sandwiches; while I have not published my original complaint this way, I would think that all you good people who read my reviews would be cognizant of my own writing skills. Here's the reply I got from McDonald's corporate: "Hello Michael: "Thank you for contacting McDonald's. At my age, I have probably been in over 100 different McDonald's. My mother arranged a tour when I was a boy scout and she was doing her first mba. There of course is the scandal of meat spray for the French fries. Their fries were something a vegetarian thought they could eat, until it was disclosed they put meat spray on them. They have locked bathrooms, McDonald's used to be good public restrooms. Life in the big city. Kids meals are diabolical. I admit to poisoning my children with their sawdust nuggets and killing-the-rain-forest burgers. This place was crowded when I went, we luckily got a table. I saw a guy reading American Pastoral by Philip Roth, one of my favorite books. As a vegetarian I ate the apple pie. I didn't check the ingredients. I hope it's vegetarian. I always order from this McDonald's if I'm off work late at night and craving something "unhealthy". Their service is quick and delivered to me within 15-20 mins after placing the order and I've never had an issue with inaccuracy. Although I've never been inside the restaurant personally, I can tell these employees do not have an attitude and take it out on the customer or their food because everything is carefully made and right on point (extra pickles ALWAYS there!). French fries were good. Not salty. (This is at 11:30 pm July 1, 2018) We went in for a late night snack. Got a large fries, small caramel frappe, and 2 caramel sundaes. Everything was fine. Caramel frappe was overly sweet but what's new. then we were watching them gather our order. Hear the lady, who I assume was the manager, tell the staff "never again never put that much" while holding up the caramel sundaes. They had way too much caramel syrup in them. Then she puts them back in the bag. It was good she told the workers for next time, but she never asked them to remake the sundaes and we had to deal with sundaes that were basically a plastic cup with caramel syrup in it barely any ice cream.
