This McDonald's does not have a menu screen in the cashier register, which is odd. I guess given the fact that there are many self checkout kiosks so there is no need of a menu. I ordered the spicy chicken nuggets that was $9.99 for 20 of them and found out that they were very good. It was not that spicy though. They are pretty mild in my opinion and wish they were a lot spicier. Lots of spacious seating in this one and it's pretty clean and very modern looking. They renovated all the McDonald's to have that modern look. Happy meals now include toys that you can choose, whether it be a toy for toddlers or a Nintendo Mario toy. The bad thing is you cannot choose the specific toy. Happy meals are now healthier with Apple slices and milk boxes rather than fries and soda like how it was in the past.

Came here for the squishmallows happy meal. The hamburger and chicken nugget options are decent if you want a quick meal. The apple slices are a nice treat. You get to upgrade your meal to get bottled water for a charge. The fries were a little stale if you didn't eat them fresh out of the fryer. I got the meal pretty quickly with no wait.

There is an adorable sign "Welcome to Forest Hills" on the wall by the counter. The decor of McDonald's FH location is clean, bright but limited-spaced compared to other branches. However, the service was kind of reluctant and the staff served everything slowly. I ordered a cup of latte on their app and pressed "I am here" button when I arrived but it took me 20 minutes to get my order. The latte was still decent with the same standard as usual but we were upset with the long wait.

Somebody show a load of my burger it was absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back here.

This is my go to McDonalds, when iam on 71st. This restaurant is very spacious, very clean, and the food is really good .I love there chicken nuggets with ether barbecue sauce or sweet and sour sauce. They are seasoned just right. This particular location is rarely crowded, plus the staff is very friendly and courteous. And this being the only McDonalds on 71st.it is in an ideal location, not to busy in this particular spot.accept around school time, when the kids get out ,the establishment can get really crowded. So I would definitely have to say this is definitely one of my favorite McDonalds restaurants in queens.

I felt like I was going to get robbed the whole time I was here. This McDonald's is so sketchy at night time. I literally ate my 4 pc asap and got the heck out of there. It felt like a local hang out spot for junkies. I'll never come back to this location. Theres a man in the front of the McDonald's asking for money. When you say sorry because you only have $3 for the dollar menu. He literally watched thru the window as I gave the cashier my change. Kinda creepy. I don't recommend this location one bit.

Went to buy an ice cream coin today; the Indian female employee in Macdonald made one for me but she didn't wear any gloves or mask. When I took the ice cream coin from her hand, I saw her peeled nail polish on each finger, which is extremely disgusting. Then I told the manager, she didn't even say sorry, just made another one for me with porker face. After that I saw the manager told the Indian female employee, but her face was shown WTH and unbelievable. Employees in all Macdonald restaurants are required to wear at least gloves who are interacting with customers, effective on March 21st, 2021. See attached pic. Hope this restaurant would be able to make sure their employees actually wear gloves when serving customers, especially COVID is not gone yet and monkeypox disease is spreading now.

Their food is yummy. The service is pretty fast for a McDonald's and they're very nice. This place is usually crowded but can fit strollers and wheelchairs. It had a lot of couches and is goo for a group of friends. Not that romantic though.

One of the workers who was rude and disrespectful to me. No professionalism or respect for costumers. Lazy when it comes to giving sauce.

It's easily accessible right by the subway and the LIRR is very close by. Since it was private they ordered their food which was mostly pastries with various flavors/toppings. I wanted savory since it was dinner time so I opted for I think a red pepper pastry which was yummy! My friend actually bought their pastries. One was a mango dessert with white chocolate outer shell and mango mousse. It was good but a bit sweet due to white chocolate and the cream inside was rich and creamy mango flavored. I am watching my sugar intake so just had a bite to try. The other was a pistachio Dubai mousse and oh my! It was amazing! I definitely am returning for this. Also they served chai which I tried a little. And tea but I was afraid to try the tea bc I am very sensitive to caffeine which causes me to have a hard time falling asleep so I opted out. Private event but service wasn't bad. Just wondered why there wasn't water for the guests if they couldn't drink tea/chai.

With options like a coconut roiboos tea with coffee, black sesame latte, etc, everything has a fun twist. The drinks are a little small but are super reasonably priced. I got to try the rococo, the pistachio latte, the matcha latte, and the black sesame latte. Each one was really good, not too sweet, and had a strong flavor. We walked into a space that is very minimal with a simple counter setup, making it more of a grab-and-go spot than somewhere to sit and spend time. The interior is compact and functional, with the focus clearly on the drinks rather than the atmosphere, and the steady flow of customers moving through the counter reflects its popularity as a quick stop. The biggest appeal of Off-Peak Coffee is the variety of specialty drinks. The menu has a lot of interesting combinations that are clearly designed to be more adventurous than standard coffee or matcha drinks. We tried a few and found options like the tiramisu latte and coconut coffee more unique, with flavors that were well integrated and did not feel gimmicky. The fruit-based drinks make the shop feel closer to the modern Asian café style, and the presentation is also a big part of the experience, with many drinks looking as good as they sound on the menu. The visual appeal of each order adds to the sense that the drinks are crafted with care. We tried their matcha drinks, and while they were decent overall, the matcha itself was a little disappointing compared to what we expected. The flavors and toppings helped make the drinks more interesting, but the matcha flavor did not stand out as much as at some specialty matcha shops. It feels like the focus is more on the creative combinations rather than highlighting the matcha itself, and for anyone specifically looking for a strong, authentic matcha flavor, it might not fully satisfy. The service was friendly and the ordering process was quick, which fits the style of the shop. The staff handled the flow efficiently, and the drinks came out without much delay. Since there is very limited seating, it is better suited for grabbing a drink while exploring the area rather than staying for a long café visit. The small space can also get busy during peak hours, but the staff keeps things moving, and the turnover is fast enough that the wait does not feel excessive. The overall pace of the visit is designed around efficiency, and the minimal setup keeps the focus on the drinks themselves. Off-Peak Coffee is worth checking out if you are looking for creative coffee and matcha drinks with unique flavors. While the matcha itself was not the highlight for us, the drink menu has enough variety that there are still plenty of options worth trying. It feels like a good stop for a quick drink rather than a destination café experience, offering a menu that rewards exploration and delivers on creativity, even if the core ingredients do not always stand out as much as the combinations built around them.

There's one person who works behind the counter and I assume one person who is doing the cooking. I got the pancakes with blueberries with a side of bacon and the honey cinnamon latte. I heard him making jokes with customers and asking people for feedback. Now to the rest of it: service is weird and slow. When we were seated, we had to wait a little bit until receiving menus. Water wasn't automatically given to us also, so you have to ask. A woman took down our order, but later asked if we got waffles, even though I said pancakes - overall took 25 minutes to get our order of a salad and pancakes. Pancake platter came with two pancakes, two eggs, and a couple berries on the side. There's also an option to add sausage or bacon but no price there, which adds to the confusion. When we pointed it out, they removed the charge from our bill. There were maybe 3 people who stood behind the coffee bar which is kind of around a corner, making it hard to get service if you're not in their field of vision. Kind of strange there isn't a clear welcoming desk or something like that. Also, I think the menu uses AI as photos - there's a picture of a burger with fries and chips, but I don't think they serve chips. There's also a picture of cake with garlic next to it, which could be an artistic choice. We didn't get any drinks, but there was a table next to us who abandoned their full cups of Nutella lattes which was interesting.
