Let me start by saying that I have wonderful memories of working at McDonald's as young misguided youth. It was my first job and I had the absolute best mentors and friends a person could have. In my adult years I'm often hard on McDonalds. I'm nostalgic for what was vs what is...after all I was there when McDonald's introduced the McDLT. Fast forward and I started seeing all the hype and TIKTOK reviews for the big arch! My mouth watered... It's billed as "two quarter-pound beef patties and three slices of white cheddar and topped with crispy onions, slivered onions, pickles, lettuce, and a new tangy, sweet "Big Arch Sauce" on a toasted poppy seed and sesame bun " and it arrived hot. I did add extra sauce. It was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Every bite! The sauce is tangy...I've seen people describe it as mustardy but that's not my feeling. It's different. In a good way! The hamburger patties were seasoned and hot! A perfectly prepared and marketed "thick" burger that rivals the bread heavy Big Mac. You'll leave full! The Best Vibes in Haslet -- Ask for Ella! If you're looking for a spot that actually gets your order right and serves it hot, the McDonald's in Haslet is the gold standard. It's easily the best experience I've had at a franchise in a long time. The real reason this place deserves five stars, though, is Ella. I want to give a massive congratulations to her for being the absolute best employee on the team. Her customer service is top-tier, and she has this positive energy that you just don't see everywhere. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure every guest is taken care of with a smile. But the absolute highlight of the visit was the entertainment coming from the back. Ella has a beautiful singing voice, and hearing her kill it on the Backstreet Boys while she was folding sandwiches in the kitchen was a total vibe. It's rare to find someone who can multitask that well while keeping the mood light and fun for everyone--she really turned a quick lunch into a concert. At 11:42 the older bald manager quite literally chased us out 17 minutes before they closed. He came up to our table and with no prior warning told us "hey we are closed you need to leave" and then just stood there and rushed us out as we were trying to get our belongings together and throw away our trash to push us out of the door faster. On top of closing earlier than the posted hours on the app and the building with no warning, this was just an unprofessional and rude way to handle this. Not only did this make all of us uncomfortable but had he said it any other way or given us a warning that they were going to be closing soon we would have left anyways. A shame because the food was always good here but after this not sure if it's worth coming back if they just make their own hours and will shove us out the door whenever they want. read more

Although the fries were hot, the kiosk machine wasn't working. There was no way for you to order a meal, you could only order the item. So we had to wait for someone to arrive at the front to order because no one was there. This place is fine as long as you don't do curbside when busy. When that happens you never get your order in a timely manner, nor is it correct. Today was the worst by far. I ordered 6 meals on the app 15 minutes before I arrived. I then indicated I was there. 20 minutes later they bring my food out to the wrong car. Eventually figure out they went to spot 2 when it should have been 4. But the order was missing 2 10-piece nuggets and a Dr. Pepper. Said they'd get it right out. If I could give it less than one star I would. Horrible service from staff and management. Got home and started eating my fries and saw a cooked BUG sitting in my food. Immediately called them and told them about it and the manager was less than worried about the fact I was upset. Got to the store and he showed no emotion toward the bug in the food and walked away to go find my receipt (because I was failed to get on from the employee who gets paid $10) came back and gave me my refund.. did not offer to remake my food for me or even apologize.
