Before I even opened it, I attempted to wave down the Dasher who was backing out of our driveway. He did not stop. So, I called him on the phone to tell him the order he delivered was a kids quesadilla and two tacos for someone named "Amanda." Not us. He actually laughed on the phone and very sarcastically said, "gee, that's weird. I wonder how that happened." he told me I would have to call DoorDash and he hung up! DoorDash has an option to chat. And so I got on chat and asked them to quickly re-order as the restaurant closes at 10 o'clock, and re-deliver. They said that was not an option and they offered me half of my money back. Half! I later got every penny of it back, there was no way I was tipping that driver, but I digress... I quickly called the restaurant and told them of the issue. By now it was just about 10 o'clock. The woman on the phone looked up my order and I drove to the restaurant, getting there maybe around 10:05. The dining area was spotless, the kitchen was completely clean, and there was one person, mopping the floors. These four employees, however, opened the kitchen and re-made my order for me, even though they did not have to. Now, there were certain things they could not make like the nachos or the Beria tacos because they had already closed down the fryer, but I completely understood that and they substituted with more regular tacos. These four employees went above and beyond what most other places would have done because this was not their issue, it was a mistake by DoorDash. I was out of there by about 10:15. We will definitely return to this location. It's obvious they care about their customers and their food is also very good.

Then when we went to pay, she charged us for 6 cookies when we only got 3. She did fix it, but instead of putting the refund back on our card, she handed us cash, which was kind of odd. Soda machine was down and they advertised broccoli cheddar soup and had bacon potato instead. Overall, it was just a really bad and unpleasant experience. Come to find out, we weren't the only people who had issues there yesterday. I really hope things improve as it is the only one in Galt.

So disappointed. I took my three grandchildren for an end of summer dinner trip to the drive-through following a long day at the pool. Mind you it is 105° outside. One little girl cannot eat ketchup on onions or pickles. I ordered her burger with just meat and cheese. No sauces no onions no pickles. The other little girl her hamburger was no onions. I'm sure I don't have to tell you all how much it cost to eat out these days. Everything is high and I get that. When I went to the drive up window and paid I re-requested she read me back the order to make sure I got it right. She said the special order is and read them back to me how I placed them. Not only did I have to wait 30 minutes in their parking lot, but was happy to do it for my grandkids. So we get home, the little girls, meat and cheese. Only burger was doused and ketchup and onions and pickles. The hamburger order was also doused with onions. Both girls were very disappointed as was their grandma. I called and let them know how the order went wrong so they could fix it in the future for other people especially when they're ordering for small children. I spoke with the manager who gave me no I am sorry no understanding whatsoever. He said bring the hamburgers back and I'll switch him out. I said I'm sorry, but I live on Social Security and I don't have the gas to go back to McDonald's. I live on the other side of town. Wow idk read more

When were huge bikes allowed inside the restaurant dining room area. That is very disrespectful to your customers being the young men who brought them in were asking for money to all the other customers. And are the same young men who think they have a right to do whatever. Bikes stay outside locks or not. Cars aren't allowed in the restaurant. read more

We've literally been here dozens of times and it's been consistently good. The store is usually very clean and the layout is all the same at all the stores pretty much, so it's all good, nice and spacious, clean bathrooms, brightly lit. Over the years, this location has gotten more and more crowded at the prime times around lunch and dinner, but thankfully there are several nearby locations now, and I frequent the one at Delta Shores more since it's more conveniently located, and that one seems to be a little bit less crowded even during high times, but I still come out to this Laguna Blvd one once in awhile. The parking situation hasn't gotten any better here, unfortunately. The way the lot is situated just doesn't provide a lot of room for more parking spaces and the entrance to the lot is too close to the big intersection that this In-N-Out sits at the corner of, so it's kind of a big mess here for finding a spot, not to mention the drive thru line would effectively close off a section of the parking lot and makes it hard to get to spot over there. And the drive thru is usually very long, so I usually find a spot as close as possible, even if I'm doing take out, and hop out to order and wait in person inside to get my food to go. Most of the time though, I come w/the family and we dine in as the kids love coming here and we still ask for some of the little sticker papers for them to fiddle with while they eat. The burgers are still solid and tasty. I like all the fixings, so I usually like to have my burgers done animal style while the kids and wife opt for grilled onions and the special sauce on the side, it taste longer to ask for special ways of cooking our burgers, but it's worth the wait, we love grilled onions on our burgers. But my favorite is the fresh-cut fries that made right in the store and never from frozen potatoes, you can really taste the difference. The only thing is they use regular vegetable oil, so it's seed-oil which the wife informed me is really bad, and so now that I know I feel like I should only have it occasionally. But it's definitely a treat I won't keep myself from having whenever I come here, so maybe instead of 2 orders of fries to myself, I'll have just one with my 2 burgers. All in all, this In-N-Out is still the original in Elk Grove, and is still a good one. There's now another one that opened on Elk Grove Blvd and that I'll have to check out soon.
