Seriously how do you actually charge people for these burgers? I'm surprised it's still open. The staff is very nice but that doesn't overshadow their burgers. Imagine eating a burger out of the school cafeteria, that's what it's like. The carmelized onions had a bit of a tang to them which is never good. The patties didn't taste fresh although they claim to be. The fries looked like burnt shoestrings. The bacon was mediocre as well. If you're a college kid with very little money and want a burger this might be the place for you since McDonald's got a little pricey. read more

On the recommendation of my 14-year-old grandson, we decided to give this place a try. Boy, does he know his burgers. This is a cute little place with surprisingly comfortable metal chairs and a few TVs. The menu is not extensive, but it's all you need for a hamburger place. One of the first things I noticed is the hamburgers/combo meals are priced extremely reasonably. The woman at the counter was friendly, and although it was close to closing time, she told us we were welcome to have a seat and eat inside. We ordered a number seven, the old West burger and a number five, a bacon cheeseburger (without the cheese). The meals come with a huge helping of some of the best fries I've had. Thin, skin-on, shoestring potatoes cooked to perfection. The hamburgers are absolutely delicious with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and grilled onions on a grilled bun. The combo also comes with a beverage that you choose from the refrigerator; a wide variety of cans and bottles of different sodas and other drinks. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. This is your typical Ma & Pa burger joint. I was very surprised that it was with the prices just for the burger alone which was pretty affordable, but when you include it as a "Combo" and making worth double the price for a can/bottle beverage and a ton load of soggy fries then you lost me, if the owners can do fountain drinks for that price fine I'll come back and order the combo. But for now on I will just continue to order just the burger along and bring my own drink. Just a friendly disclaimer about tipping etiquette: personally, I believe tipping is meant for situations where you're seated, a server takes your order at the table, and actively serves your food throughout your visit. I can't stress this enough -- when a place asks for a tip just for taking an order behind the counter, don't feel pressured or obligated. Tip based on service, not on a screen prompt. Don't be fooled into thinking it's always required. As far as the feel ambiance just plain Jane. I also ordered 3/4 burgers without mayo and sadly I got mayo on all the burgers.
