This is by far the WORST Mcdonalds I have ever came across!! The girl working with curly hair and a red mask was so rude from the start of giving me my drink. I kindly ask her for ketchup and she says it will be in the bag. When she gives me my order I check to see if there is ketchup and there is NO ketchup. So I politely tell her that she forgot to put the ketchup in the bag and to please get some. & she says oh yea in the rudest tone ever! Gave me so much ketchup there was packets falling on the floor. I never felt so much disrespect before especially from McDonald's. ALSO, the bread on all 4 McDoubles were so hard I did not end up eating any of them. I was so mad. I ordered a Quarter pounder with cheese and asked to substitute big mac sauce for the ketchup and mustard. They had a get the second one for a dollar sale so I said sure. I'll have one for dinner. When I got back to the car I looked at the receipt. Those thieves charged me 1.00 per sandwich for the big mac sauce! At the volumes McDonalds buys, the big mac sauce can't cost any more than ketchup and mustard. I got charged 2.00 for some dude to push one button instead of buttons. I have made the same request several times and have never gotten charged anything much less 1.00. The least they could do is let you know they are ripping you off before they charge you so you can make an informed decision. I will not stop at that McDonalds again. And if I can figure out if the franchisee owns any others in the area, I will avoid them also. There are plenty of places that appreciate your business and will not take advantage. read more

Drive through person was very incompetent. Had to repeat order more then 4x only to wait in the drive through 15 min before deciding to pull out and go inside and get my food. That their was another 25 to 30 min before i got my food. Several people who had ordered prior literally just walked out and didnt even wait for their food due to how long they took. To top it off all employees were yelling at one another for orders. Terrible service. Terrible team work on their part. One of the WORST experiences ever. & no I do not want anything "free", i will not ever go back to this location if they paid me to! I do NOT recommend this location to ANYONE. read more

TO be honest, I would rate lower if not for one of the managers that worked here being very friendly and understanding. I write this knowing full well what you have to expect when you think of fast food, and honestly that can be a stretch sometimes. I went into the actual inside of the restaurant and placed my order, rather simple actually being just two hamburgers and a small fry, and yet each time I go in I somehow happen to get cheeseburgers. I have to admit that I honestly hate McDonald's cheese and usually I do try to be nice and just cut off the top part of the cheese bits and eat it anyway with lots of toppings. That day though, I elected to actually do something about it. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, the cashier herself was very rude, but I am guessing the manager on duty took over and handled this nicely. The restaurant was filthy though, and this was the biggest downside. I saw employees literally standing there, waiting to do something and some even on their phones with a dining room with only two customers(including myself). Meanwhile, there was food all over the floor and trays left on tables and, on the ones that were open, there was a layer of greasy grime that made me decide to change my mind about eating in and instead elected to take my food home, even without a bag. I like the décor, but all in all the staff needs to work on their sanitation routines, if not, I worry someone might get sick. read more

This location did not meet normal standards. We came in and waited in line and no one greeted us. There were several employees, and they were working hard and they were busy but I still felt like they should have at least aknowledged that we were waiting. It was pretty dirty in there, and they have one of those ketchup pumps and it looked like someone had just pumped it onto the counter and then it sat for several hours. Gross. read more

Yes, it's McDonald's. However, the secret wonder about this McDonald's is that they have a rear door that leads to the bathroom, so you can just use the bathroom without having to buy anything / talk to anyone. Being a person that works in Galt 3 days a week, this has proved to be an indispensable convenience to me. This has proved to be a lifesaver on more than one occasion. I would not normally bother reviewing a fast food chain, but this McDonalds is so staggeringly bad that I cannot keep silent. While the decor has been modernized, the bathrooms were filthy, it took FOREVER to get the food. Staff made no effort to communicate with each other to correct inefficiencies. Food came with no napkins, no straws, and the fries were stale and unsalted. Manager walking through saw nothing, heard nothing, did nothing. This place takes apathy to new heights. We went to grab a McFlurry tonight. Drove away and within 2 bites my fiancé pulls out hair. Not a strand of hair! Like a nest of hair. Instantly starts gagging and thinking about it is making me gag. Foul! So I called to talk to the manager. I explained what happened and he apologized. Which is understandable. But then. Says nothing. So I asked if I can come back and get my money. What the literal fuck. The cash register can't give refunds. Interesting. So I moved up to the next window. I had to explain to the guy all over again. Out pops a manager. You had the mc flurry's? I said yes. He asked if I still had them. And I showed him. He asked for them back. Which no problem. But we are in a time of COVID so kind of weird. Then guess what!? Simply the dirtiest McDonalds I've ever been too'. Women's bathroom had dirt and mud marks all over the floor . Sign in the bathroom says, "Employees must wash hands before returning to work." Really? One soap dispenser totally broken, the second one had no soap. Both sinks look like people bathe in them. Inside the restaurant, the updated eating areas, were dirty...(note: not messy but dirty). And to add to the whole uninviting vision, on the day of our visit, the restaurant smelled like old clothes with food on them. (Use your imagination). I walked in at about 8 PM last night. I went to the restroom first. It was filthy. Looked like someone washed their feet in the sink and got it all over the place. Went to get food. No one else in line. I stood there for 4 or 5 without so much as an acknowledgement that I was there however, they were working. Mostly drive thru business. Not like they were sitting around. Once I got my food went to the dining room. Not a clean table in the house. You know the kind of mess. Like a 5 year old's birthday party. Crumbs and greasy hand prints on the tables and seats. Only reason 2 stars instead of 3: Food was good and gal who helped me with my food and wiping a table down was very nice. Sorry didn't get her name. Service was pretty slow that's why the rating was a little low. But the food was good and the service was very nice and respectful, employees knew it was a longer wait and they acknowledged that. All real similar to McDonald's standards I'd say. It made for a quick stop on the drive home from Sacramento. This is my first Yelp complaint ever. But I can't help myself today. Is this McDonalds under new management or what? The last four times we went thru the drive thru they have either given us the wrong order, didn't make the chicken sandwich as ordered, forgot to put chicken nuggets in the happy meal, (who forgets the main part of a happy meal), forgot the fries for that comes with a Big Mac meal. OMG! And they want $15 bucks an hour and a union, REALLY! I'm all for paying people a good wage, but people at least earn it. One cashier at the window even had the nerve to say" we are not obligated to read back your full order". That fried me. Who do they think pays their wages? The customers do!!!
