A couple minutes ago, my husband got in an argument with someone at the drive through. First, they gave us watered down Dr Pepper. Based from past experience at this location, it prompted me to check the bag to see if we have everything. Turns out we didn't, so my husband tells says something. This isn't really a review of the restaurant. Last night I went through the drive thru, got a couple things, no problem. What I am writing for, is the shitty toll bridge that you are forced to drive through if you are unwise like me and leave the McDonald's through the nearest exit out of the drive thru. This being my first time ever in the state of Maryland, I was relying on my GPS to guide me back to my friends' apartment. Maybe this should be a review of Google Maps, but this is relevant to any newcomers who wish to leave this establishment. DO NOT LEAVE THROUGH THE IMMEDIATE EXIT FROM THE DRIVE THRU. Worst Mcdonalds. Most employees have attitude problems. Service always slow and it is a miracle if the order is ever right. Front refused to take orders and made us use the kiosks. This is the WORST McDonald's I've EVER been to. The order is ALWAYS wrong, and one time, I observed a line cook hacking a big one a sandwich while I was waiting for mine. After I received my burger, I opened it and, sure enough, there was the phlegm on my goddamn sandwich. I advise you all to be inconvenienced by going to another McDonald's close by. Aberdeen McDonald's is great. Great service, great people. Havre de Grace needs to be shut the hell down. We've lost so much money on incorrect orders. These sandwiches are not really cheap anymore. For years I have noticed how slow this particular location is and always wondered what their problem was. Well my daughter started working there and now I know. They consistently do not have enough people working to cover the shifts or else they have more people than they need. The employees can't get a day off because their are not enough employees total and they are even denied breaks. It sounds like numerous managers are disrespectful to the needs of the employees and are also completely unorganized, Sometimes the schedule has even gone up after the day it was supposed to actually start! My daughter has asked for numerous days off well in advance and then not gotten them. I can'[t wait until she quits! read more

Worst McDonalds I've ever been to. Here is what I sent in to Corporate. I'm patiently waiting a response. First, let me start by saying I am not one to complain. I pulled in to this location because my wife was thirsty. We waited at the drive thru and no one was taking our order. It is a double drive thru and no one was taking the car in the other lanes order either. We both sat in the drive thru for 2 minutes plus and nothing. I decided I was just going to go in to the restaurant because I thought this was ridiculous. (Mind you it was not busy at all) As I drive around the restaurant, the woman at the first window who I'm assuming should have been taking our order was playing on her cell phone. That kind of annoyed me, but that was nothing compared to what was going on inside. I was actually going to let someone inside know what just took place in the drive thru but there was no one that acted or looked like management to be found. I walk up to the counter to now place my order inside, and no one is in line but me. It was a good 30 seconds before I was even acknowledged. While I'm waiting, a young male employee is behind the counter with a hoodie on with a back pack on as well, and headphones in his ears. He started tending to the fries and was kind of working, then I saw him lick his fingers and wipe them on a napkin or something and continue to kind of work. I am in retail management and happen to be food safety certified and know that this is unacceptable. I was so appalled, I actually took a picture of the young man. He I guess was waiting for his food to be cooked and eventually went on his break where he dined in the restaurant. This is the kind of stuff that ends up in social media and gets you embarrassed. I figured the franchisee owner operator or the general manager would love to know what's going on when you are not there. There were a few other things that happened that were absurd, but the last one that again I took a picture of was how filthy the ketchup/soda counter was. I have never seen one this bad in my life, I felt the urge to have to take a picture. I would love to share both of my pictures with you upon request. I just want someone to know how poorly managed this place is. I don't expect Chick Fil La service at McDonalds, I just don't, but I did not expect this either. Let me say this ... this particular McDonald's is not only slow as a snail in the early morning but they do NOT pay attention to what was ordered. I have food allergies to ONIONS. So, therefore any burger I order the crew member will be informed that it is to have NO ONIONS on it. I like going to this McDonald's. The people are friendly, and the food taste different than other McDonald's, I don't know why. My one complaint is that I notice the employees who handle the food, don't wear any gloves. This is gross. I usually never have a problem here. But tonight was the worst experience. Asked for plain burgers, the sticker said plain but they were not. Everything was cold. The fries were a medium and a large and it was like a small and a medium inside the containers. I had to knock on the window because people were walking around doing nothing and I was still waiting on a shake. Mind you I was the only car in the drive through and there was no one in line on the inside. The employees were just being rude. And I didn't complain there, I didn't act rude or have an attitude.
