Women's toilet, Chesapeake House rest stop, 637am, January 5, 2026.

Women's restroom was disgusting at 6:27 AM on Monday, January 5 Half the facility was closed for cleaning, but there was absolutely no attendant present or cleaning going on. On the side that was open, every single toilet stall was clogged with paper, had paper on the floor, and the toilets looked like they had not been flushed for days .

This is a good place to stop, stretch, and get gas, however the women's restroom was disgusting. The whole thing smelled like urine, there was hair and paper towels all over the floor, hair in the sink, and there were multiple toilets completely clogged. The whole bathroom is outdated and felt dirty. I do not recommend this for a rest stop, I would hold it and go somewhere else.

Great service plaza to stop and get some rest maybe something to snack on use the restroom . Nice outside area. Busy service plaza. Nice women's memorial.

Tidy and clean! Hard working people! Lovely Loos. Vendor shops open if you need a nice treat. Special souvenirs from Maryland! Crab spices! Cute tops.

It's an amazing place to stop at. There are a lot of good places to eat at and the place is clean and bright. There is also security there so if you have any problems there it will be checked immediately

We stopped by this place for lunch as we were heading to DC. Inside was clean and there were various restaurants to choose from like Earl of Sandwich, Wendy's, KFC, Pizza Hut, etc. We choose Earl of Sandwich as the healthier option. We waited in line for a bit and ordered 4 sandwiches: vegggie sandwich for my mom, 2 Chipotle chicken avocado sandwiches for my dad and I and my husband got the Original. I liked my sandwich. It was decent and had good flavor. My mom said her sandwich barely had any cheese. It was supposed to have some. I think my dad and Michael enjoyed theirs too. The bathrooms were clean and decent. Overall, I stop there again.

The bathrooms needed a good cleaning. We arrived at 3pm on a Friday - it was extremely busy. The food was not impressive and the lines were long... definitely not economical. The little gift offered homemade jams and old bay products.

This is a Maryland service plaza on I-95 between Baltimore and the Delaware border. I-95 is not a controlled access roadway, so this is the kind of plaza you would see on a turnpike. One stop, lots of options. Pizza, burgers, coffee, chicken, sandwiches, convenience store, gas station and EV chargers. It's all here in this one stop. Plenty of parking though not much for shade. If it's a hot and sunny day, you're not going to have a comfortable time taking a 20 minute snooze. Lots of lights but it is very transient traffic. As always, be especially aware of your surroundings, lock your doors and leave nothing in sight. [Review 15349 overall, 851 of 2021, number 612 in Maryland.]

Pretty much a state of the art interstate way station on I-95 in Maryland. Modern design with high ceilings and loads of glass to let in natural light. Only a few vendors highlighted by Peets Coffee, a big improvement over that green mermaid. Large restrooms that could use more attention. I've already forgotten which of those ubiquitous burger places is in house. But, that doesn't really matter as they are basically all the same. Quick in and out on the way to somewhere.

Awesome and clean. Decent selection of shops but all good shops. Pizza hut, kfc, Wendy's, Pete's coffee etc love it.. just takes a long time in all shops ! Billing is crazy . Especially on a weekend or peak times . Better to take an exit and have a coffee or food in exits . Overall a good experience...

Snatcher's is great. I mean, man what a name. Sitting outside gives you not only creek visibility,…read morebut also creek sounds. Yes, you get the sounds of a forest stream in the background, which - let's face it - we all find oh so soothing. It's up there with sitting by the window on a lazy summer afternoon with rain lightly pattering outside. That patter, you know the one. The food is, well, it's creek food. Food that you could envision eating by a creek. That means fried haddock, black and bleu bacon cheese burgers, and the driest looking cheese steak I've ever laid eyes on. Oh, and patty melts. If you can look past the mosquitos, which I suppose you could say is part of the charm, then Snatcher's Creekside is a perfect catch. As an added bonus to everything you've just read, I have just three words: off street parking. This is actually huge since the further you go north on Main Street, the parking gets scarce and private lots charge a buttload. Also, how can you not like their motto? "Hey, we're Snatcher's. Come 'n git it." How I adore small town charm. Ok, that's not really their motto, but I swear I saw it on a t-shirt when I was down there.

After a quick Google search, Ercole's popped up, and it was only about 7 minutes away. Located in a small shopping strip, this quaint little shop instantly gives you all the New York vibes. The gentleman who took our order was incredibly patient, friendly, and hospitable. Customer service was a perfect 10/10. We ordered cheesesteaks and fries, and when our food was ready, he personally brought it to our table along with some complimentary bruschetta for us to try. Let me tell you, the bread they make for that bruschetta was absolutely amazing, the roasted tomatoes and fresh herbs absolutely woke up your taste buds with every bite. 10/10. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I'll definitely be stopping by tomorrow before heading home to grab more. The cheesesteaks were packed full and incredibly flavorful an easy 9/10. The fries were delicious too, and the portions were very generous. Overall, this was an excellent experience from start to finish. If you're staying near Great Wolf Lodge or just passing through Perryville, I highly recommend giving Ercole's a try. It's definitely a place I'd visit again.

We sat in addition where it was rather loud due to 5 kids at one table with their parents, and another party of 12 in there. The acoustics aren't terrific. Didn't ruin the experience, but just know in case you are sensitive to noise. Ask to sit in other areas. Very friendly employees! From the moment you step in. Hostess was nice and our server was terrific (shout out to Riley). She kept checking in on us and made sure that we had all that we needed. We ordered a margarita and I wouldn't recommend this at all. It tasted like lemonade and a some tequila. They also put sugar on the rim. It was subpar to say the least. It was nothing as described on the menu (fresh squeezed lime juice). We ordered the fried pickles for an app and I highly recommend them. The sauce that is served with them is great! For entrees, we ordered the Bone & Butt (ribs w/pulled pork) with a side of baked beans and a burnt ends meal with sweet potato fries. The ribs and pulled pork were absolutely great! Even the burnt ends were good too. However, I do like super wet sauces and they do come drenched in BBQ sauce. That was a me problem as I should have asked and I forgot. I should have ordered them plain. The corn bread was okay. We asked for butter for that. The fries were fabulous. The baked beans equally as good. There are two different sauces on the table for you to put all over the things. You can tell that they are making these things in house and take great care to make sure that they are good quality. The portions are terrific and the prices super reasonable. They have an extensive dessert menu. We didn't order as couldn't fit anything else. We even had to take to go boxes. This is located near Great Wolf Lodge! If you are staying there, this is super close and worth the drive. It's also not far off of 95 so if you are in the area swing by - worth the drive off of 95 (not far at all). Would for sure come again! Very tasty.

Unfortunately for us, we ordered a platter to sample the smoked meats, and they were not a hit. Pulled pork stringy, without flavor and dry. Ribs, little meat and dry. Brisket, hard to swallow. The best item we ordered was the pit ham sandwich which was just what you'd expect with a ham sandwich. We also had a pulled pork Mac and cheese, and the super gooey cheese saved the dish. Our server was very nice, attentive and accommodating. She even threw in an extra piece of pie because she said the portions were small in her opinion. It did take us 10 minutes to be greeted, but they were busy. Maybe you'll have a better experience. The smell of smoke outside will give you hope! I probably won't be back.
