Today at the McDonald's on Horizon Drive wanted to charged us $9.69 for medium fries, it doesn't sound right, but it's the truth. We're just at the drive through at 10:09pm today. This McDonald doesn't deserve a one star but I do have to at least give a one star rating to begin my review. We couldn't believe the price there so we called another McDonald's located on eastern Avenue and their medium price is only $4.29. Another one located at Green Valley charges only $4.40. The cashier at the Horizon Drive drive-through said it's because the prices of potatoes have gone up which it may have, but not to where they can charge double than other McDonald's. If I could give zero stars, I would. I walked up to this McDonald's on a 90-degree day and immediately noticed a group of teenagers sitting outside, red-faced from the heat, eating their food on the curb. When I tried to enter, I realized the door was locked -- and was only let in because I happened to arrive as someone else was exiting. That's when I witnessed the manager, Mike, telling these kids to "hurry up and get out." I asked him directly if teenagers weren't allowed inside and was shocked when he said "No, not after yesterday." Apparently, there had been a fight, and he "wished he had banned them four years ago." I asked if all the teens were involved in the fight, and he admitted, "No," but then refused to explain himself further. Let me be clear: Mike is targeting an entire group of kids based on the actions of a few. He's not banning troublemakers -- he's banning teenagers. Period. And to make it worse, he's still letting them come in to order food (you know, to take their money), and then forcing them out. I watched him demand they leave after paying for their meals. This man is aggressive, smug, and completely unmoved when I pointed out that these kids were sitting outside, overheating in the sun. He simply said they should go "somewhere else." What kind of grown adult targets kids, punishes innocent people, and hides behind "right to refuse service" while still profiting off them? This isn't just bad business -- it's morally bankrupt and straight-up discriminatory. McDonald's should be ashamed of allowing someone like Mike to represent their brand. Corporate was disgusted to hear of this as well. I encourage the parents and concerned customers to call corporate too. I frequent this location about once a week and I am going to start leaving reviews. I am not one to give any feedback at all but leaving food out of my order weekly is getting ridiculous! Last week it was fries and this week it was a burger. How hard is it for the person handing the food out the window of the drive thru to verify that everything in the order is in the bag. Seeing all the other reviews it seems this is a problem that needs to be assessed by the management. This is very poor service! Went to the drive thru at approximately 7 30pm. I went thru on the left lane. One car was a head of me. I watched 4 vehicles order that were behind me on the right side. It's my turn to order in my lane and no one takes my order for a while, finally I said " hello, can I order now" and the person responds back with an attitude. The drive thru is always so long, so long full of mini vans filled with kids. I don't recommend any of their food, unless of course you like McDonald's and think it actually tastes good. I decided to try a burger and fries after not having it in a good 15 years. I was extremely disappointed and had a coating of grease stuck in my mouth for the night. I do, however, recommend getting the ice cream cones, McFlurrys or diet cokes. The cones never disappoint and the cokes are always so crisp and refreshing. I stay far away from the food. Do not use the app to pick up curbside at this McDonald's. I have been waiting for 30 minutes and watched people walk inside, use the kiosk and walk out with their food before I received mine even though I preordered it on the app 30 minutes prior. McDonalds at 310 Boulder Highway. On June 15th, tried to KILL ME! I ordered 2 double cheeseburger "plain - no onions", and a large drink. Got home, ate a burger slowly. Then started swelling around my jaw, face, & throat. Numbness and tingling in my right arm and hand. Worst reaction of my life! Went to urgent care got a steroid shit, steroid panel, and 2 pills. We only came because our grandson wanted to play in the play place. He had a ball and he gobbled up his hamburger. The two adults with him ordered the deluxe qtr pounder because it said online that it was the best food. It came out with all of the trimmings and would have been ok except for that fact the the burger patty had been sitting and the whole sandwich was cold cold cold. I went to this branch at Horizon Dr. and College in Henderson, NV., Maria a supervisor treated me very rudely, and was not at all helpful. I ordered a special that you can only via online order. Their website wouldn't allow to be completed, so I went to the restaurant and informed them their app would not complete my my order. I showed my online order thinking they would honor my order because their app was not working. I was repeatedly told I needed to order online. I asked help from Maria, who turned out to have no knowledge of how their app works. A worker also help, but didn't know what to do as well. I then asked that they honor my order as it was not my fault since their system was not working properly. Again I was told that I needed to order online to get the special of: 2 Big Mac + 2 fries (any size) for $7.00. Luckily, a manager who was on her way out heard the commotion and stopped me from leaving and right away told MARIA to give me my order. She then gave me 2 Big Mac + 1 French fries. I then told her the special calls for 2 fries, and right away she said "NO, IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY". What!!!! So I left to very upset! I have never had a bad service from this restaurant until today. Get the food - number one they put the frozen icee type drink in with the once hot food! Now I'm only a couple miles from this location. The food is already cold. I ordered extra sauce and maybe they are trying to be funny but put so much on it was soggy and completely inedible- so get the the fries and of course cold from the icee drink next to them stapled up in a bag. This is one of the most infuriating experiences I've had at a fast food restaurant. My husband and I made the mistake of using the curbside pick up. Our order was placed at 6pm. By 6:20 we had not received our order, all while the car around us had gotten theirs and left. My husband went in to check and see what wrong and they tell him they gave our order to someone else and they need to remake it. Fast forward to 6:30pm. We STILL don't have our freaking order. He goes back to the counter and asks how the order is coming along, to then find out they FORGOT to put in the new order to be made. Fast forward another 5 minutes, my husband asks about the order- and they gave it away to someone else AGAIN. My husband asked for a refund, they gave him a hard time only offering to refund the DQP that was on our order. Eventually he was able get us a full refund, but not without pressure. So we waited for 40 minutes and left without our dinner. It's RIDICULOUS. I know mistakes happen, but I cannot comprehend how this happened. I'm appalled. Even for a fast food restaurant. What happened to having standards for these establishments. It's crazy. Not even one employee came to talk with us as they were being food to other cars. I KNOW they saw me. DO BETTER. *Late review - yesterday's visit around 11am Drive thru line - there is a line which I think is normal length for most Mcdo branches. The only thing is the parking lot is so small, good thing the line moves fast. Customer service - phenomenal, the cashier even checked to make sure I am using the best deal. She did not have to do that but she did so I appreciate her (I think her name is Zarree or something with Z - sorry I need to be better in jotting down names next time). Price - worth it with the deals I used and the quality of food. I used receipt survey to buy 1 get 1 filet-o-fish, which is cheaper than their deal buy 2 for $6. I also used mobile deal $1 for large fries. Then $1 large sprite Food and drinks - They satiated my cravings for fish filet sandwich! Just enough (tartar?) sauce and the buns are soft. The fish is flakey, it is cheap but good. I ordered Sprite with extra ice like half of it is ice, and I am so happy they did put a lot of ice. I usually have to ask for extra ice on the side but not this time. Fries is alright, I ate it while hot so it is yummy (a bit more salty for me but my bad for not asking less salt). The only thing I noticed (even with other Mcdo and not just this one) is you have to specify you want ketchup or else they won't give you any. I specified 7 packets and got it.
