**update 8/13/13** - Quality of food is getting worse and bathroom is still a wreck. I've also lost track of how many times I've had to tell the punks that hang out there (I won't call them customers as they usually don't purchase anything) to stop cussing or go outside as there are young kids sitting nearby. Management really needs to step it up and handle these idiots before they lose any more customers. Old review - This is one of the better McDonald's that I have been to. We stop in once a week with the kids and our meals are always good. The only downside as one other person pointed out is the bathroom. It is not very clean and they only have an air dryer (no paper towels). The rest of the place is very clean. read more

There is a disgusting amount of flies in here. Far beyond the health code limits. MANAGEMENT you need to place those air blowers above the doors to help keep flies out!!!! Literally had flies covering the walls, ceiling, tables and chairs! The moments I walked in fly hit me in the face. Thats when I looked around and noticed all the flies on the wall. I immediately decided not to eat there and only only use the restroom. I had flies land on me in the restroom while urinating! This means a fly could land in the urinal or toilet seat then head over to where food is being prepped!!! read more

This place sucks. It's horrible. Manager during 12:01 a.m on Saturday 8/12 is a horrible representative of the corporation. We went thru the drive thru ordered 3 #3 quarter pounder with cheese. Instead we got something with mayo and was greasy. We were traveling and it was dark. We didn't expect mayo, lettuce and grease dripping all over us. Don't go there. We will never go back. Thought with the remodel this place would change for the better... sadly, not so. Ordered a big mac and fries with a hot fudge sundee.... all bad!!! First had to wait a good 5 minutes for anyone to come to the counter to take our order, order the food, she threw the bag on the counter and walked away when it was ready, it was for here not to go, no napkins or ketchup available to self serve. So, had to wait a few minutes more for help to come back, food came out cold, cold burger cold fries makes for a pissy husband. Then it came time for us Sundee, it was after he was done with his cold fries and big mac they informed us they didn't have any ice cream... thanks, but no thanks!! read more

Just wanted to thank the woman who helped me yesterday. I wasn't aware the coffee menu at McDonald's changed, so when I went thru the drive thru I was super confused. Ended up with the wrong coffee, which wouldn't normally be an issue except I'm 38 weeks pregnant and incredibly emotional. The woman inside helped me through my hysterical crying and made me a new coffee. Thank you!!! Sorry for the ugly crying. read more

Worst McDonald ever my shake wasn't even cold and the workers were super slow and rude worst experience ever

The girls are stuckup and rude here. Makes you not want to even deal with going to this mcD. Food always sucks. I have never gotten fresh fries there and have been through a couple times. Parfaits are always half full. I would give this location zero stars. read more

This by far has been my worst experience at McDonald's in my 42 years of living.. I ordered clearly and concisely and my order was taken down .. I then paid and assumed my order was correct as it wasn't all on the board when I ordered.. After realizing at the pick up window my order was not correct I notified the attendant. I was treated rudely by all staff after this point ,was told I needed to move forward which I declined. I waited over 10 minutes for my orders to be made correctly and to be warm . My fries were given to me cold.. My burgers were shoved in the bag and smashed which I asked to be replaced. My drink wasn't given until I asked for it.. The manager rolled her eyes at me and told me to tell whoever I wanted to about this she didn't care. I hope the Hilmar McDonald's can be revamped , it might have been remodeled outside but the inside of the employees are rotten to the core. read more

Consistently the worst service I've ever received at a fast food restaurant. Me and my boyfriend went through this morning and ordered 2 coffee drinks, a sausage/egg/cheese biscuit, bacon/egg/cheese biscuit, and a sausage burrito. She didn't read back our order (nor was it on the screen), so we weren't aware how wrong it was. We got it corrected at the window, and even had to re-order the sausage burrito and make a second transaction. We got home and discovered that they still got all of our food items wrong. The sausage/egg/cheese had no cheese, bacon/egg/cheese had no egg, and the sausage burrito was really a sausage mcmuffin. We took it back and got it all sorted out, only to deal with poor customer service. Almost every single time we go, there is some issue. Wouldn't go back if there were more options in Hilmar... read more

Another typical fast food joint, don't give a hoot about customer service, stood at register to order and several girls walked by and just looked at me then went in the back and stood there, don't think I'm that scary looking but maybe. Driving back from the coast + stopped by here for a quick pick-me-up: ended up waiting 20 minutes for one medium iced coffee in the drive thru with no one in front of me while I watched an employee climb some machine in the kitchen. At least the coffee was...okay. read more

Stopped at the Hilmar McDonalds drive thru at approximately 12:00 am and ordered 3 quarter pound meals and they got all three orders wrong. We didn't realize we had the incorrect meals until got back on the road and started eating, when lettuce and mayonnaise dripped all over my pants and shirt (quarter pounders do not have mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato). Wrecked my pants and shirt with the drippy sh_t they had on this burger. All three of us had this dripping mayonnaise and grease all over our clothes. Going to throw them away. Called the McDonalds to complain, told him the my receipt shows three quarter pounder meals, but received some other type of burgers which dripped all over our clothes (never a problem with quarter pounder hamburger in the past. Told the manager I was really pissed off due to their incompetence, told him their incompetence wrecked my clothes. I told him this was unacceptable, it was bullsh_t. The manager said he would replace the food, but shared no responsibility for the wrecked of clothing. I asked to speak to the manager, he said he was the manager. He told me not to cuss or he would hang up on me. I told him I am fu_king pissed off, due to my ruined clothes, due to their incompetence. I told him I did not want new meals, but wanted to let him know about their incompetence, so they don't do it again. Again he said to not cuss at him, I told him I did not cuss at him, I did use profanity to describe the incident, not at him personally. I told him I was Fu_king furious, and stated fuck is a legal word in the dictionary. I asked him for his name, he refused to provide it, but asked me for mine. I told him mine and again asked for his name again, he again refused to provide me his name. The service was horrible, incompetent employees and manager. I'm so pissed off right now that I don't know if I will ever eat at another McDonalds. I give this store a 1 rating, only because I can't rate a rero. Do not stop at this McDonalds. read more

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Keep waiting for this place to get it right. I actually had one employee think he pulled one over on me. Ordered a SWEET tea and I always check before I leave (it's a 50/50 chance any McD's get it right). Well this time was a no and I let the guy at window know. He actually poured about a third out and then filled with some sweet tea. Other employee made comment to him and he said I would never know. Busted. Didn't say anything but didn't return for a while. Bad service, bad food, terrible atmosphere. I've wrote it here before, but I need to restate. The bathrooms make me sick, there is only an air dryer, and the walls are sickening. And that is the women's bathroom. I've seen employees leave the restroom without washing their hands way too often. It is always packed to the teeth with screaming, cursing, rude teenagers. Tv is pointless, WiFi is terrible. I do not recommend in the slightest. read more
