I can't review any food because I gave up on waiting after 40 minutes. Had I read reviews first I never would have ordered, much less prepaid in the app. Ordered two breakfasts and two iced coffees at 9:35 on a Sunday morning, paid $13. The line wasn't too long when I pulled into the drive through, but it wasn't moving. Took at least 20 minutes to get to give my app number. At that point there were only 3 cars in front of me, but another 15 minutes passed before those cars received what looked like very small orders. Got to the window where I was handed one iced coffee (where was the other one?) and got a look of pure hatred, and a response that they were busy. Window slammed shut. A minute later the hateful girl opened the window, gave me another long angry stare while neither one of us said a word, and she slammed the window shut again. At that point I knew I could not eat that food. I parked my car, went inside and asked to talk to the manager. Crickets. No response. Now I was really angry. Manager? No manager responded. Finally a woman in the back making food (Does a manger also cook? She never identified herself as a manager. Is there no one in charge here?) Yelled at me one word: BYE!!! Well, I wasn't going to eat that food at that point, anyway, but I sure would have liked my money back. By the way, the restaurant was full of customers, not eating. Waiting for food. Waited 15 minutes in drive thru to even place an order. Guy taking the money had the personality and warmth of a rock. He didn't say a single word to us. Then waited at next window for several minutes and nobody came. Saw the sign in front of us for drive thru pickup to pull ahead. So we pulled ahead since noone came to the window. Waited several minutes then heard a man yelling ,looked in rear view window and a male employee was hanging out the drive thru window , yelling at us to back up. Then he proceeds to yell at us at the window for pulling ahead. I told him to not yell at me (which he said he wasn't yelling which he yelled at me telling me he wasn't yelling) and that he's really busy and has other things to do. Staff was rude, asked me to order then said to stop and came back in 5 minutes. Food was cold and gave the wrong toy not the one advertised. Food is ok. Could be better! Service is really bad , especially the McDonald's at 2 Plaza Drive. No one wants to help you in the front. They tell you to order at the Kiosk. They seldom have the receipt paper. So when you pay you don't even get a receipt. Then your lost since you don't have a number for your order. They are always in a bind . Too many people in the back instead of helping customers. They are missing food items and get your order incorrect. Even though you ordered correctly on Kiosk. The ambiance feels very rushed makes you not want to eat there. If there is a person in the front to take your order. It's hard to understand them, due to talking too fast! read more

It's not often that I'd like to give zero stars but this McDonald's deserves NO STARS. We're senior citizens who go to the "Arches" every morning, even on vacation, for our senior coffee and egg McMuffin. We were staying at the Marriott Resort close by so chose this McDonald's. The first morning we found the service extremely unfriendly and they got the order wrong but we were in the drive thru so didn't go back. On the 2nd morning we went to the drive thru again but when we opened the McMuffin is was "fried to a crisp" on about half of the top bun. Only a blind person wouldn;t have noticed how burnt it was which proves their kitchen staff doesn't care or isn't trained. I think their attitude is "they're tourist so who cares they won't be back". With this half burnt top bun we finally had enough and I took it back inside and they just laughed. Okay they did give me a free McMuffin the next day but it was burnt too. Not as bad but still burnt. Shame on them. I feel sorry for the franchise owner whose getting ripped off by his poor staff and its management at this location. I'll also post on Trip Advisor where I can put the photo to warn others to skip this McDonald's Location when on Hilton Head Island. I went to register to order one sweet tea as I start to speak the woman, never opening her mouth just pointed to the kiosk. I order and pay. She hands me the cups and still has not opened her mouth.
