New $5.00 meal @ McDonald's Double Hamburger, Fries and chicken nuggets and a drink
    Ross T.

Located on the corner of School st and Liliha st, decided to grab a quick breakfast sandwich. For take out. The dining area is normally crowded, downstairs with only about 5 tables, they do have upstairs dining with the restrooms upstairs. They have a stair case and elevator to go up, but hardly the area is not maintained and not cleaned regularly, so decided to bring it home and eat. The Egg McMuffin at Macdonald always can't be beat for the breakfast sandwich compared to other fast food restaurants, they have the best.

Food was as expected. Drive through service was great! Easily added on an item at the pay window. Happy meal toy in February 2026 = are we missing something??? Why this?

I've been to this McDonald's a few times. The service is a hit or a miss. The soft serve ice cream machine is down at times, but I guess that's with most McDonald's. They just rolled out a new McFlurry called Grandma. It's vanilla soft serve with butterscotch syrup and crumbled butterscotch candy. OMG, it's so good. I'm addicted, lol. I got this one on Wednesday and was hooked. It wasn't overly sweet. This location didn't give too much syrup and candy though. I went to another location the next day and they gave way more.

A beautiful Double quarter pounder with cheese. Not messy.

I had a picture perfect double quarter pounder cheese today! It was amazing! The drive through was backed up. I went inside to order and the service was pretty good today.

This place is a total s*** show. I never eat McDonalds. I came to get my work bestie a collector's cup. I went inside so I could ask the cashier to look for the particular serial number that I wanted. Meanwhile, I observed a lady come in asking for the restroom. She was told to go upstairs because the 1st floor restroom was out of order . The stair case to the 2nd floor lights were all turned off, but yet they still advised her to go up. This was about 8pm, so it was dark to begin with and especially with the lights off on the stairs. I thought that was dangerous and a liability. OMG!!!! The lady comes running down frantically. She went straight to the counter to tell the employees that when she opened the door to the women's restroom there was a homeless man in there!!! The employees and the MANAGER who was also a woman didn't even flinch!! They didn't even offer to go upstairs or call the police. A few minutes later the homeless man comes downstairs. There was a local Uncle who observed the situation and started yelling at him to leave. He also told him to never go into a woman's restroom. He also said out loud that she could've been raped. The manager still didn't do or say anything to the frantic lady. This place is DANGEROUS. Management and staff do not take the proper precautions to ensure customers safety.I would've used the drive thru, but again, I wanted the specific cup and didn't want to hold up the drive thru line.

.5 star lol Worst mcdonalds EVER. I think old people should not be cashiers! They have semi-senility and dont hear correctly. They should ask and not assume if they heard correctly by repeating the order! Wrong platter and coffee made wrong!!! Buyer beware! TERRIBLE!!!

I'd been curious about trying their matcha offerings, so I was excited. We came on a holiday morning, and there wasn't anyone inside. The cafe is cute and vibey! Love how pet-friendly it is with the polaroids--I'd definitely bring my pup here. There's also a decent amount of seating to hang out or work at. Service was fine. I ordered at the register, and she made my drink immediately. I was intrigued by their Haupia Matcha Latte. I love all things Haupia, so it seemed like the perfect match. I got the Haupia Matcha Latte with Oat Milk, and it was superb. I loved how creamy it was, how the sweetness of the haupia shone, but the earthiness of the matcha was still there. I'd definitely recommend this drink and am curious about their others. Hello Again is a nice cafe addition to Chinatown. I didn't know this at the time, but Pono Potions specializes in syrups using natural flavors from around the island. It was a little busy when we went, but the wait was not too long.  The content creator specifically recommended the Hapa Honey and to substitute the coffee for matcha, so that was exactly what I did. The drink was topped with a pineapple foam and drizzled with a delicious honey lilikoi syrup. I am such a big fan of passionfruit and loved how well the lilikoi flavor blended with the honey and pineapple. I loved how the profile of this drink showcased the flavors of Hawai'i. And now that I know that you can buy their syrups online, I may grab a couple of bottles myself! My friends got the iced and hot Pauahi, a latte with caramelized macadamia nut syrup and topped with toasted macadamia nut. This drink was also really good! I totally recommend Po'Ai by Pono Potions. It's not too far from my home and drive past here almost daily. Previous attempts failed as I was unable to secure parking. My day finally came earlier this week when a colleague sent a message in our office chat asking if anyone wanted anything from NK. Originally started in October 2021 in Mililani, NK relocated to Liliha, across of longtime Yagura Restaurant in September 2023. NK, which literally means "cat kitten", is known for their signature bottled drinks of lattes and cold brews, offers baked goods and limited food options. They also sell merch and offer online ordering. Prior to arriving, I asked my colleagues on their recommendation where their cold brews and lattes are notable. I had placed my order with the staff where she offered me samples. There was a line of about 4 people behind me in this cozy shop and felt bad for holding up the line but the staff once again offered me samples which I eventually accepted. Thank goodness I sampled my initial selection as I found the Hojicha latte cold brew muddled and lacked the roasted tea flavor I was hoping for. I ended up getting the matcha latte cold brew, ube latte cold brew and the strawberry milk, a personal favorite drink of mine when I lived in Japan many blue moons ago. While the staff was gathering my bottles, I noticed their baked goodies and couldn't pass on the marbled matcha loaf. My family really enjoyed the drinks and I devoured the sliced loaf. So moist with a distinct matcha favor that I enjoy. I really loved the ambiance here as it had cute decor with small plants and several tables for indoor dining. Had a handful of patrons sitting down while eating and sipping on their drinks. The customer service on my first visit was amazing. So attentive and customer service oriented. However. parking had been an issue for me as Liliha St is a busy one with some metered parking. Overall, an excellent first experience and clearly a fan of NK. I've noted to try their toasted coconut lattes cold brew that many of my colleagues rave over, as well as try other offerings, including baked goods, affogato, and kimchi fried rice.
