We went to Beretania McDonald and the place was over crowded with seniors customers seated talking story from when we arrived and after we left with other customers looking for seating, they have a small sign that says 30 mins but no one comes out to inform customers staying extremely longer than they should. The food has been eaten and the empty bags on the table it would show the time stamp when they got their meal. Some place numbers on table and hold tables. They should put tables with umbrellas outside in the front to allow more seating. read more

Absolutely the worst. I try to avoid this location because the parking is bad, the drive through line is no better, and it's generally sketch. But my daughter wanted one of their McCrispy sandwiches and so I obliged. Brought her sandwich home and she began eating it... until she saw the hair attached to the breading. I used the app's contact feature to reach out to McDonald's and received a response quite quickly. They explained that because the location was a franchise that would forward my information to "the Restaurant Leaders of the restaurant you visited. We are certain that the experience you described will be fully investigated and the appropriate action taken." I guess the "appropriate action" for the Beretania Restaurant Leaders is to do absolutely nothing, because I haven't heard anything in the 10 days since from them regarding the issue of hair in their sandwiches. Bought the filet of fish sandwich multiple times recently. You used to put plenty of tartar sauce on it. Now very little. Why?

Disappointed and won't be returning to this location. I placed a mobile order for the Classic Cheeseburger Pack (2 cheeseburgers, 20-piece nuggets, 2 medium fries), a Double Filet-O-Fish, and a Large Dr Pepper. I chose drive-up pickup and parked in the designated spot, checked in, and waited. Several cars came and went while I sat there for 10 minutes, with my daughter napping in the back--so I couldn't easily leave the car to follow up. I tried calling the store. No answer. Eventually, someone came out to deliver food to the car next to mine, so I asked about my order. He went back in, found it, and brought it out. I appreciated that, but the damage was done. The fries were cold and limp, the bag greasy like it had been sitting for a while. When I got home, I noticed the cheeseburgers were labeled "cheeseburger, no American cheese"--so basically just dry meat and bun. Everything was cold. Even the nuggets were sad. This was a frustrating experience from start to finish. I won't be going back to this location. read more

Been playing the new Monopoly game so have been coming here a lot lately. Love that I get a game piece for each of my favorites that I get like the Big Mac, Filet o Fish and Chicken McNuggets and that they also give game pieces for the large size drinks and large french fries. My only complaint is that the fries get cold really fast so I sometimes end up throwing away half the bag by the time I get home to eat. Advice if you do decide to come here is to double check your order especially if you are going to the drive thru before driving off. read more

Seriously the worse. My kids wanted McDonalds today so I did an online order. We sent in the order before we left the house around 650am. We got there at 7:10am. Waited in the car for maybe 5min & told my daughter to go ask how much longer. The drive thru had a long line onto the street & literally one or two car parked. First of all I don't know if that the manager but she kept ignoring my daughter & me when we was showing our order online & asking how much longer. But she just ignores us & continues to do other orders. She was the only one wearing a red shirt. TELL ME WHY it took 30minutes! Literally the whole drive thru from when I got there got their orders already. I watched to see the last car I seen that was on the sidewalk waiting in the drive way. They left looooong time ago. But all the cars left & I'm still waiting on my order & he made a face like wow that is longer. We ordered 2 iced coffee & 3 breakfast sandwiches. McDonald's please have better service! This may be the worst Mcd experience I have to date. Looking through the windows, there was some interesting crowd. So we decided to do the drive thru. We ordered the Mcflurry and a double quarter pounder. When we checked the, they didnt even gave us any utensils for the ice cream. So we asked for some spoons. What was more interesting was the server actually looks confused when we asked for spoons. Anyhow, after she finally figured out we needed utensils for ice cream, she decided to drop us some plastics wrap around paper. Finally after opening the bag, we got 2 forks for ice cream. I come to this location fairly often. This is actually the McDonald's that I grew up coming to since I was a child. There used to be a lot of homeless people, but I''m glad they got that under control now. I love Happy Meals, mostly for the toys that come with it. This week they had a collab with Crocs. I love Crocs. I had to get one to use as a bag charm. When I went they had three out of the nine. They had number 3, 6 and 7. I bought two happy meals and got numbers 3 and 7. If I could give this location zero stars I would. First of all, I mobile ordered breakfast for my husband and I and requested to pick it up at the counter. My order was already paid for so I didn't expect any issues. My husband went to pick up the order and had to wait 20 minutes for our food; he asked multiple times if our order was being worked on. An employee finally asked the manager about our order because it was taking way too long. The manager asked my husband if he had a screen shot, and my husband said yes, and everything was paid for. The manager went back to make our food, and gave it to my husband. When my husband got home we realized we were missing food from our order. This was his fault for not double checking our order to make sure the manager got our order right. I also told him to go back to McDonald's to get the items we were missing, but he was over the whole ordeal and needed to get ready for work. I was not happy about the situation, so I tried calling multiple times and no one picked up the phone. I highly recommend you go to another location if you really want to eat at McDonald's, or double check your bags before leaving. Awesome location with kind and caring employees. Came for teacher appreciation week and the women working were so kind and made me feel welcome as a teacher. Got 2 free cookies and was offered an iced coffee, which I didn't take since it was late. The manager was sweet to talk to and talked about her kids with us. You can tell they love their teachers, I definitely felt appreciated! Well, not all McDonald's are alike. So this location is on my way to/from home and work. I rarely stop in any McDonald's unless I'm having a Big Mac attack or if I'm looking for specific Happy Meal toys. Even with their order app, they are still slow. Just as slow as their drive through lines. Weren't both order apps and drive throughs made to be more efficient and expeditious? Sadly not. You won't be disappointed at this location if you go with your eye open and know it's not faster or more efficient than any other location. Check your order. ALWAYS check your order. Sometimes (ok, more than sometimes) your might get a sloppy Big Mac where the burger is slipping and sliding in its carry box so get extra napkins. IF you can overlook those few shortcomings, you'll be fine at this McDonald's location. read more

I want to like this location because the folks that work there are nice. I do frequent this location a lot seeing how it's very close to where I live and I often work weird hours so it's convenient. However, this location is good at messing up simple orders about half the time (more if you order more than 1 meal) and the wait is abysmal. Wait times can vary from 10 min to 30+. Wait times are consistently over 20 min and sometimes there's only a few cars in line. On the plus side, the homeless that usually walk in between cars and get in the way has dwindled considerably, probably due to some sort of security staff parked in the adjacent business during night hours. read more

It tastes so bad. I've even tried a different machine or flavor and it's all bad. They also stoped serving frozen coke a while back. Disney 100 Happy Meal... Yes on this Halloween it was a treat to see the newest Happy Meal edition of Disney and with 62 character from Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars the possibility of getting your favorite is a stretch though with two characters does make it a much more fun chance of a character desired. I almost gave up honestly as this South Beretania location is heavy on the drive thru where vehicles wait from within the lot along with outside traffic flow so there is quite a bit of congestion within the lot it shares with the retail building in the back which all the parking within that area is reserved for that and parking for the actual McDonald's a very limited. Seating as well is very small as well as it doesn't quite give a cozy vibe but the staff here is nice and friendly and the food comes out quite fast and I've heard other locations has sold out on these cuties so I was happy to have the moment to enjoy one...I did get Elsa and Groot, not really my choice of character but it did bring a smile! :-) Thank you! read more

It's been awhile since my last review. Unfortunately, renovating this McDonalds didn't do much when it comes to improving service. You walk in, and I guess the employees all expect you to order via the computer screens or via mobile. You RARELY see anyone behind the cash register and you stand there forever before someone finally shows up to take your order. The drink machine has been out of order forever (either that or they don't want homeless people walking in helping themselves to free drinks) Don't even bother coming to this McDonald's if you're wanting the happy meal toys advertised and even displayed in their store. They are gone in an instant - and you end up getting old happy meal toys (literally from years ago, left overs). I was there when some mother was losing it and complaining because her little girl got some old lightyear (buzz lightyear?) toy that was a toy from a few years ago and the toy displayed in-store was something else (smashmallows? whatever it was) Still homeless people wandering around inside and outside like zombies. I went to this location during teacher appreciation week and asked if they were doing any deals for teachers. They told us the promotion they were offering for the week (cookies and coffee). When we pulled up to the window, the manager was there and she was so nice and personable! This star rating is solely for the great customer service of one of the McDonald's employee who was the only one wearing a safety type vest tonight 12/1/23 @9:30 pm. I came here for a late night snack. The line for the drive through was very long and out to the street. I decided to park and walk into McDonald's to place my order. No one else was in line. The place wasn't crowded inside. Funny, there was no one manning the front counter. I guess everyone was busy with the drive in orders. As I waited there was a McDonald's employee taking care of the indoor cleaning. He saw that no one was assisting me and came around to ring up my order. He was young and pleasant. He took my order and I sat and waited at one of the tiny tables. I was looking at Yelp when I heard my number called. By the time I stood up to pick up my order, the same young man was walking toward me with my order! Never have I experienced such a gracious and courteous act by a McDonald's employee! Mind you, I wasn't the only one surprised. A man standing next to me smiled and nodded his head to me telling me what a cool thing he was witnessing. I wish I got his name. Had the late night munchies and wanted something quick so i jumped in the drive thru at mcdonalds. Mcdonalds may not be amazing but i had their cheeseburger, 2 for under $5. Its actually decent maybe a bit too much ketchup but i enjoyed it for what it was at the price. Also i hadnt had the taro pie before and saw it in an ad so thought why not. That a good pie! Ordered through the mobile app and selected to park in the stalls for drive up. Once I arrived the app refreshed and said i did not enter a number and to go to the drive thru or the counter. There were people inside but all doors were locked so we waited in the drive thru line, for 45 minutes. Upon waiting my code disappeared on my app but i had my email receipt. We spoke to the workers at the speaker and at the pick up window and ultimately they said there's no order in their system, they cannot refund me, and they cannot make my order. I showed them my receipt, my order that i paid for at 10:13pm and at 11:13pm, a whole hour later they told me there's nothing they can do. I get there's only two people working but you can even look at the receipt or help with a solution. Will be putting in a dispute with my bank since they refused to refund anything. read more

Visited this McD location on Sunday 5/21/23 at 1015 this morning before the breakfast menu ended at 1030. Was the second person in line with no cashier in sight. After the elderly couple in front of me placed their order, the cashier just disappeared. Unbeknownst to me, she was trying to be a super worker by handling other food orders already placed. Mind you, other people had lined up behind me. When I was able to place and complete my order, I just stood to the side just chilling and waited patiently for my food. During my lengthy wait, two other customers approached the cashier and mentioned that they hadn't gotten their order, noticing that other people who ordered their food after them had already received their food. Finally about twenty minutes later, I finally got my food. When I arrived home, I noticed that there were no condiments and no utensils with my order. In fact, missing from my order was my butter and maple syrup for my hotcakes. I had to return to this McDonald's location at 1455 S Beretania St to voice my complaint. What a waste of time. When I got there, the same cashier went back into the kitchen area, with my eye's view of her. What would've taken seconds to just get my butter and syrup, she instead went and retrieved someone else's order. I had to step into the kitchen area and yell "Hey, all I want is my butter and syrup. Who orders hotcakes to later find out your order has no butter or syrup? I'm still waiting!!!" After voicing my concern, another worker had to get my butter and syrup. All I can say is this: this McDonalds has to train their employees to be more attentive. The respective cashier should just remain at her station and try not to multitask. Poor service all around.
