Not the best McDonald's location I've been to. We stopped out of convenience after getting gas at the Chevron next door. The drive-thru moved pretty quickly for the lunch rush. Employees were friendly enough. Prices were normal for fast food. The restaurant drives and parking lot were clean. The food was less than mediocre. It wasn't fresh. It tasted like it had been sitting for awhile. I should have asked for no onions on my Big Mac. I usually get fresher food when I ask them to leave off a customary condiment. Bummer! The fries weren't great either. Lukewarm at best, and very light in color. Not a great experience. We were very disappointed in the quality here. For that reason, I would not recommend this location. read more

My dad came in to get some quick food. He had his truck with him so he decided to go inside. Inside you can either order at the kiosk or with an employee. He doesn't use the kiosk so he waited for an employee to come help him. He waited for 20 mins and nobody helped him. Horrible service. read more

Thursday 12/11/25 around 8pm I went through the drive through & paid by credit card at the first window. I got the credit card ping on my phone (I get push notifications for all transactions). At the 2nd window, the lady said I had to pay again. I told her, no, payment went through. She said, no, it's pending which means we have to do it again, it didn't go through. We both continued to argue our case. She called over another lady that works there. They both told me I was wrong and had to pay again. I asked if I could call for a refund the next day if both transactions were to go through. They said I'd have to come in for a refund. I don't live in Hood River, I live an hour away, so I said that wouldn't work. I was buying food for a late dinner for my kids as we had just attended a nearby event so I just wanted to get the food for my kids so we could get in the road home. I gave the ladies my credit card again, and they ran the payment through a second time. They gave me the food order, and of course, after all that time arguing, the food had become cold & was completely unsatisfactory. Move fwd a couple days and yes, both charges went through, so I paid over $40 for crap food. I'm disputing the duplicate charge with my credit card - such a disappointing and time-wasting hassle. read more

Cold food, lousy service, and excuses why it wasn't right. They opened and touched my quarter pounder and then added the missing lettuce and tomato instead of just making it fresh. McNuggets were soggy and easily several hours old. $30 i will me er get back. read more

They usually "forget" the napkins. They also often "forget" items from your order. Maybe they are just cheap bastards and don't want to give you the things you paid for. Either way, it's unforgivable for a to-go order when you don't have a chance to catch the mistake until you're miles down the road. Bathrooms are obviously not regularly cleaned or restocked with anything. There are flies all over the dining room. I would give it no stars but it won't offer it. If your not going to have any kids Halloween buckets don't keep advertising it. It's not right to have my kids hopes all up for nothing and you have no sign up also when I asked the lady and she was so rude about it. You had tons of adult happy meals and back ups as well but the kids run out way before even Halloween. At least take it off the menu not have it up for display just to break the kids heart. This McDonald's was the worst fast food establishment I've ever been to. We could not enjoy our meals due to the amount of flies swarming us and our food. The floors and tables were gross and dirty. The condiment station was gross and dirty. The bathrooms were gross and dirty. The business was not busy at the time we were there. Only 4 other people in the whole place. I was not impressed with my experience at This McDonald's. I did not like the tone that to the manager used talking to me and the food was much higher priced than the previous McDonald's I went to. One thing I did like about this particular McDonald's is that their chicken Mc griddle's had A bigger piece of chicken than normal. I would say the top notch McDonald's is the one in Tanasbourne and their service is amazing but this McDonald's is just not very good I would not come here again unless I had too and then I still wouldn't let them hassle me. read more

From what I saw of Hood River there really isn't much there, but where isn't there a Mcdonalds. I ended up heading to Mcdonalds around 10pm after a 6 hour drive from Seattle. Traffic wasn't on my side. Sharis was way too busy so Mcdonalds seemed like a safe choice. This Mcdonalds was pretty much the same as every other mcdonalds I've ever been to except for the large amount of high school kids hanging out inside. I'm giving them 4 stars because we got coupons for buy one get one Big mac. I've never gotten a coupon like that before and it made my visit pleasant. Although I think I did toss the coupon on my way out. If I lived in Hood River I definately would've used it. read more

This is a McDonald's expect food similar to that of every other McDonald's. This rural area has few places to pick from if you are passing through. The staff was nice and bathrooms were clean, so it's A-OK with me! A good enough place for a drink & stop when you are in the neighborhood. read more

Slow service and unhelpful cashier with ordering and handling products. Dollar menu doesn't have 4pc nuggets so got ripped off for a simple meal. When asked, cashier simply stated "I'm sorry I don't make the prices." If you can avoid, go somewhere else. read more

The new $3.00 Classic Chicken sandwich is as dry as cardboard. When I called to find out what it had on it I was told a special sauce and 2 pickles. I advised them the special sauce was right in the middle of the sandwich and was smaller then one pickle. I'm trying to figure out the name of the Manager for Hood River OR Marina Way Mcdonalds. My friend Justin was friends with him during my child hood while growing up lol He's a very nice guy and My Mother still see's him from time to time. I just tried to order two sausage mcmuffins (a very simple sandwich) and two separate times I had to ask them for another one because the bun was so soggy. I didn't even take a bite into it either time because it was just gross. After the second one showed up just like the first one, I opted to just get my money back and go hungry. What just happened at the McDonald's in Hood River! They went through a complete renovation and are now officially the ugliest fast food place this side of the Mississippi! Not only that, they raised their prices 30% on almost every item. All the McDonald's I go to are still the same price as always, but the ones in The Dalles and Hood River (I think they are owned by the same family) have decided their food is worth 30% more!
