We are loyal customers to the hurricane McDonald's. Each time we go there, there is an employee by the name of Nester, who has a horrible attitude, and very, very poor customer service. We just came through the drive through, & he pretty much throws your food out the window to you. all of my kids, chicken nuggets, and french fries were dumped upside down in the happy meal. He gave us no sauce, even though we ordered ranch and barbecue sauce. I don't typically take time to go on here and write a review, but this is about my seventh or eighth encounter with him, and due to his awful customer service, & very unprofessional attitude, , we will choose to go to a different location. read more

This is the worst establishment i've ever seen, and i know what you're thinking, "who's is this guy to judge a business?" I understand, but i have so many reasons. let's start with the good, it's McDonalds. The food is as good as mcdonald's food gets (when it's made right) and there is nothing over the top about it. Now for the bad. I live nearby this McDonald's, so it's not uncommon for me to get food there when i feel like it. I don't think they have EVER gotten my order 100% correct. I know it's easy to just say that, but it is true. Granted, i'm sure if i went more, it would be even itself out. Now this next one isn't really with the food, but the staff. The employees are incompetent, they will not listen to you if you ask for something. This isn't only through the drive through, this is in the building. you can ask for an extra sauce pack and expect to get in the back of the line after you've already received your food, just to ask for the sauce. I recently went through the drive though, 30 minutes before they closed (I understand how annoying it is to show up 30 minutes before closing, but that's still a long time) and all the lights were off. I saw two employees sitting outside smoking, i rolled down my window to ask if they were still open. One simply replied with "not right now." What? Not right now? What does that even mean? I then asked them to clarify what "not right now" means. Would they open later? Are they done for the night? after asking they kind of snickered to themselves and turned away, ignoring me. Something even more concerning, was that these two people chatting were wearing different shirts then the regular McDonald's shirts. Meaning they were part of MANAGEMENT or at least important. Listen, i get it. I'm at least a LITTLE bit understanding. Mcdonald's is a job that requires no experience, kids work there for their first jobs. Of course they go through things and have hard times, like any other job. That being said, they should still have SOME customer service. It should have some kind of drive to help while working in the hospitality industry. I have stopped eating at this McDonald's because about a week ago, i ordered a breakfast sandwich, when i bit into it i noticed something different, after closer inspection, the inside of my egg was white with mold. Was bad before COVID but now even worse. We won't be coming back with this kind of service. It's soooooo slow. Order wrong. We waiting 20 minutes in line without moving. Decided to go inside and waited another 30 minutes. It's dirty inside and it took one of the workers 10 minutes just to make a frappe for a lady. They close at midnight with Covid, but half the time at 11 they already have reasons they can't place your order. Then when you go into the gas station their employees are standing around. I walked in to this McDonald's with my family and our appetites. I placed a large order for 10+ people. I was aware my order can take a moment. So I sat on one of their messy tables. I frequently checked the status and was told my order needed time as it was a large order. The gate that separates the lobby and the 7/11 was pulled down because they were too overwhelmed with orders. Then I noticed one of the other in store customers becoming agitated. I decided to walk up to the counter again and ask for a manager. A young short blonde girl with no name tag approaches the counter to ask what I needed. I asked her what the status was on my order, another employee shouts "you mean the big order? I gave it away." Immediately after that statement the manager turns to me and says "your order was given away. I can remake it or refund you." I asked how is this possible?? She rudely repeated "I can remake it or refund you. What do you want?" She proceeds to claim that they are busy and she is the only on the grill. That is when I noticed she does not have a name-tag so I asked what her name was. She claims it was "HANNAH". I am still in awe at the service I received. I have never encountered such bad service in my entire life. It is horrible here. Unorganized and dirty. There is nothing but unprofessional teenagers working here with poor leadership. Please listen to the reviews I messed up. I haven't had McDonald's for a while and had a crave anyways ordered meal and had me wait for 10 minutes for 1 meal and apple pie. When I received my meal they said it would be another 12 minutes for my pie. I requested a refund and they said hold on. So I waited another 10 minutes for a refund after filling out the refund slip your telling me you couldn't of just gave me the pie already!! Our experience staterd at the drive thru window. The individual taking our order kept rushing us! We had a car full of people trying to do our best to be fast and clear, but the constant question was : will that complete your order?. In the middle of our order, the MCdonalds rep stopped talking and left us waiting for approximately 5 minutes. When she came back she acted as if nothing happened and we had to start the process ALL OVER AGAIN! We paid for our food, the food came out 15 minutes after. Literally the Mx donals rep threw our bags in our car and as we tried checking our order, We realized we were missing the drinks and all of our sauces. My friends and I stopped here and the tall blonde cashier was rude to almost everyone I witnessed get in line. Food turned out alright if you're fine with being subjected to that kind of behavior. And for anyone who is concerned, all of the workers I saw were following COVID guidelines and wearing masks, however they were not *enforcing* the mask rule with customers. In the past two weeks, I stopped here when I spent my weekends in the vicinity of the South Utah parklands. On my first visit on a Saturday afternoon, the service was fast. On my second visit, around 9 PM on Saturday night, the service was slow. It took a few minutes to be acknowledged. When they finally acknowledged me and took my order they were courteous. Regardless of the speed of service, I appreciate this McDonald's. It is s great deal closer to the motels nearer Zion National Park, and the parks; than the St. George McDonald's. After reading numerous Yelp reviews on Hurricane restaurants and peaking in then walking out of a Chinese Buffet, in my heart I felt that eating in McDonald's would be the safe option. I knew that a Big Mac in Utah tastes the same ad one in Nevada. As far as atmosphere: it sits adjacent to a gas station mini mart. A giant indoor playground with seating makes it very parent and children friendly. Above the main dining room, a TV broadcasted the news. What is kind of neat is that there is a red box for movie rentals in the dining room. It's location near Zion National Park and south Utah parklands is enough for me to return here. read more

I visited this business yesterday for a quick lunch. I have never been a big Mc Donald's fan but I enjoyed my lunch that day and will find myself visiting a Mc Donald's again in sure. My visit was a bit crazy. The drive through line was insane due to an influx of traffic that I witnessed when driving into town myself. For this reason I walked in to do my order. I chose to use the kiosk. With my bad luck the receipt paper ran out. It happens, no biggie. There was some people who were really pushy and rude towards the employees while I was waiting. One in particular spent the majority of his time helping customers. His name was Patrick. I could tell he was stressed but he held his cool and pushed past the looks and tones from customers. My food was fine, my wait was fine, the drink was fine but Patrick was a great. That meal will be forgotten but he was unforgettable. Thank you for being there and helping my family get a nice lunch. If you look at my history, you'll notice I've reviewed a McDonald's before because of their surprisingly outstanding service. Well that's not what I'm doing today. This is the second time I have visited this store. The first time, I placed a mobile order for pickup-after 20 minutes of no one bringing out our food, I walked in and asked about the status. They had apparently charged the order and never made it, and cleared it from their pending screen as I walked into the store. When I asked them to fix it, the employee said, it's Hurricane, what do you expect? In total after about 30 minutes we got our breakfast. I passed it off as a rough day. Today, however, changed my mind. We placed a mobile order. After 20 minutes we sent in one of our kids in to check on the order. There were several people standing around waiting. One person said they had been there 25 minutes and still hadn't received anything. We finally called because our order had already been processed so I couldn't be cancelled. They had made 4 drinks and nothing else from the order. The girl who brought out our refund was polite, but the service/speed was the absolute worst I've ever had from any fast food restaurant. If you don't want to be frustrated or let down, don't go to this particular restaurant. read more
