She said " I give you a bag. Every single time I go to this location I have to wait 10+ minutes in a parking spot for my food. I'm usually patient, but after today's experience, I won't be coming back. Simple order: 2 egg mcmufffins 2 hash browns No modifications, just 4 items. They told me to pull forward into their waiting spot, so I complied. I ended up waiting for 20 minutes (placed my order at 11:12, got my food at 11:32). During this time, several employees came to my window to ask if what they had was my order. This happened 5 times before it was actually my order. And hearing these 5 orders gave me the opportunity to hear what other guests ordered-- all orders contained some amount of egg McMuffins and hash browns, so why was I skipped over 5+ times? When the manager came out and delivered my food, I expressed my concern and asked for an explanation to hopefully learn if there was something I didn't know that happened-- giving them the benefit of the doubt. This is more a review for the SPICY MCNUGGETS + MIGHTY SAUCE. ( yes they're back). Overall the service was fast on a Monday night, I did a mobile order and there was an option to go through the drive through and tell the order number which saves the trouble of staring to see what I want. I think they lock the doors at night, so your best option would be drive through or maybe curbside pickup. The spicy mcnuggets are yum. They aren't very spicy, like if someone put a dash of cayenne- a hint of smoke spice flavor similar to the seasoning of the spicy mcchicken but less salty. I like them over the regular mcnuggets as they are seasoned. I wholely believe the mighty sauce tastes like blended chili garlic sauce, perhaps a little sourer. Its a back of tongue heat but not unbearable. I think if you lived somewhere without any asian food, this sauce could be used in stir-fry to pretend make some. It was cool to try . Overall, I would get the spicy nuggets because the added slightly ranch/cayenne flavor is nice, but not over the hype of it being spicy or amazing. read more

In store service was very slow. It's very apparent that they want people to order at a kiosk or in the drive thru. One cashier taking orders, lots of people rushing about, but no one to answer questions. There is such a rush to get food out quickly, that while I was there at least five customers came into the store to rectify orders that were goofed up. I think the staff is doing the best they can with what they have, but it's really disheartening (and expensive) to see what has become of this chain. I usually go and get 2 fudge Sundays one with fudge and one without because it's for a baby and they don't need fudge and would mess in a cone. But since I don't get fudge I usually ask for a cone on the side cause the baby eats it. The worst customer service on Monday evening. There are more than 5 workers working, that includes 3 at the front. These three somehow get all occupied and can't help customers to order. Ordered through the app because the Szechuan sauce finally made its return, through in-app orders only. After waiting half an hour for my order they gave me none of the sauces that I had ordered. They close the lobby at 8:00PM so I waited outside in the cold for someone to notice me and come talk to me. The employees and the managers kept staring at me waiting but did not come out until another 20 minutes later when another customer came with a complaint - they were missing several sandwiches from their order entirely. Alejandra came by to tell us that they are closed and are only open for drive-thru and almost closed the door on us before the other customer spoke up and mentioned the missing items from their order. It took about 10 minutes for them to get their missing sandwiches handed to them. Having been a manager at a McDonald's location in the past, I know for a fact that it should not have taken that long to remake those sandwiches, even with the moderate drive-thru line. I told her that my sauces were missing from my bag and she said assertively that they put the sauces in my bag and that the Szechuan sauce was for in-app orders only. I knew that, and I showed her my order in the app, where I had ordered the sauces a la carte (separately) which has a limit of 5. My bag clearly had none of them, only the other items. I knew from previous bad experiences that this location has always been very stingy with their sauces, but this was on a whole new level - their manager did not even care to consider that they did not fulfill my order and instead wanted to place the blame on me for something that she should have known better. A couple minutes of debating later, she said that she can only give me one sauce. I knew that was a BS offer, and I asked to speak to the general manager (because there is no way she could be the GM with that level of unprofessionalism) and then she offered 2 sauces instead. Seemed like she was scared for me to talk to the GM if she were to suddenly offer one more sauce. After showing my order to the GM, on the app and through my email, he told her to just give them to me and she went back to give me all the sauces that I should have gotten an hour earlier. The residents of Irvine can attest that it is a nice and beautiful city; but every city has its bad parts, and this establishment, more specifically Alejandra, represents some of the worst of Irvine. The only time that anyone should wait one hour to receive their order is when the restaurant is so busy that you need to be put on a waitlist just to get seated, not by a second-rate shack that is so full of themselves that they use stickers that read "DOUBLE-CHECKED FOR ACCURACY" read more
