For the most part this McDonald's is ok and it always smells like fresh brewed coffee in the morning. They've gotten stingy with drinks though. I got one this morning and most of it was Ice.... McDonald's doesn't need to be stingy with soda that costs them hardly anything. It's the worst for customer service if you go inside I've noticed. Your invisible to the employees unless your elderly or can't use the kiosk. They hire young, cocky employees who think they're special and entitled.

We're in Issaquah quite often so it's not unusual for us to step into this store. Generally, the food is good; typically decent McDonald's fare. But the Wi-Fi and the condition of the stores are "hit and miss". Sometimes it's decently clean other times it's not. The service is also "hit and miss". Not sure if it's a result of the pandemic or what. I don't expect 5-star service at McDonald's. But it's gotten poorer.

Can I interest you in a side of RAW burger?

Stopped at this McDonald's to grab a quick meal and ordered a Quarter Pounder with extra pickles. To my surprise, I was informed that there's now an additional charge for extra pickles--$0.60. I paid the fee, took my food, and drove home. Upon opening the bag, I discovered not only were there no extra pickles, but there was just a single pickle on the burger--quite literally the opposite of what I paid for. Shrugging it off, I started eating, only to realize the burger was severely undercooked. The patty was raw in the center, with about 80% of it visibly pink. While I can appreciate a properly cooked rare steak, undercooked ground beef from a fast-food chain is an entirely different matter, posing a significant risk for bacteria such as salmonella, listeria, and E. coli. I called the restaurant to inform the manager of the issue. He offered a refund and said I could receive a free small ice cream on my next visit. Frankly, I wasn't looking for a free dessert with my next order--I wanted the Quarter Pounder with extra pickles that I paid for, cooked properly, and safe to eat that night. Annoyed, I drove back to the restaurant, went through the drive-thru, and explained the issues with my meal, including the earlier conversation with the manager. I handed back the undercooked burger, and the manager processed my refund at the window. He simply said, "Here you go. Bye," with no acknowledgment of the poor service or the inconvenience. McDonald's, please hire better-trained staff who can ensure basic food safety and customer satisfaction. This was an incredibly disappointing and avoidable experience. Needless to say, it was an extremely disappointing and concerning experience.

There was a line of about 5 cars in front of us when we arrived but it moved fairly quickly. A woman at the front of the line was welcoming us and handing out collectible coins and free milkshake coupons to the first day's customers. There was also a merch booth set up next to the wait line if you wanted to buy anything like hats, shirts, coffee mugs, etc. We finally got a spot and parked and had a great carhop helping us. I had the classic Burgermaster, and others in the car had the Cheeseburger and the Mushroom burger. We shared a large fries and got the free shake using the coupon. I love their fries in the cup as they are always crisp and hot and delicious. The Burgermaster was a classic and cooked just right. My companions enjoyed their food as well. I really want to return and see the inside as all their other locations are drive in style and this place really looks like it's going to be their flagship location. The All American Smash Burger (4/5) Another great burger as well. Nicely cook and seasoned. Paying extra for bacon? Totally fair. Paying $2 for pickles? At that price I was expecting them to be hand-harvested by artisan cucumber whisperers. I upgraded to the onion rings because the menu promised brew-battered goodness. Plot twist: they were not brew battered. Instead, they showed up wearing a thick, under-seasoned bread coat that felt more like winter in Alaska than crispy onion rings. Sadly, they were the biggest disappointment of the meal. The burger itself was pretty good, but the bun kept stealing the spotlight and not in a good way. It had an odd flavor that I couldn't quite identify. Whatever it was, I wasn't a fan. The ranch definitely didn't taste homemade. If it was, somebody's grandma needs a new recipe. My dining partner ordered The Experience burger, and ironically, it was the best part of... the experience. He loved it. We did, however, disagree on the fries. He thought they were oversalted. I thought they were so under-seasoned and very bland. Somehow we were both disappointed for completely opposite reasons. One thing they absolutely deserve credit for is having a dedicated gluten-free fryer. That's a huge plus and something people with gluten sensitivities will definitely appreciate. Overall, I'd come back for another burger, but I'd skip the onion rings, pass on the ranch the bun, and probably bring my own pickles.

However, my son is severely allergic to peanuts so I pretty much never get to come eat here. Today, I only had my daughter with me and we decided to have lunch. It was my daughter's first time at Five Guys, so I did the ordering for her. We got 1 cheeseburger all the way (she doesn't like bacon.... Isn't that crazy?) and 1 little fries (which is far from little). That's it! We just split and that was enough food for the both of us. My daughter is 12 so she eats like an adult. I remember my first time eating at Five Guys with a couple of my friends. We each got our own fries and burger and not even being able to finish half of what we ordered. Here is the bad.... Now they ask for tips! Wow! They do not offer wait or bus service. They don't take food to your table. They should not be asking for tips. This is not cool, guys. We must all refuse to tip at restaurants like this. Five Guys can pay their employees better instead of asking customers to chip in more. The food is already expensive. Ambiance itself was okay here but It was not very clean. Maybe this is by design though. They had peanut shells all over the floor. If you are allergic to peanuts, do not even enter this store. In summary - Good food. Bad value. Dirty venue.

We chose the bar patio, which was cozy, fully covered, and set up with a handful of small high-top tables, making it a really comfortable spot to relax. The drink menu could use a little more detail, since none of the draft options were listed. When we asked about cider, our server checked and let us know they had a cherry pomegranate cider on tap. For beer, the options were simply described as an IPA and a lager, so we went with the lager. It was good, though we never found out which brewery it was from. We also ordered a mule, which was well made. For happy hour, we shared the half charcuterie board ($12), and it was beautifully presented with a great variety. We were impressed enough to stay for dinner afterward. We ordered the burger and the Greek salad with chicken after learning they were out of prawns. Our server also thoughtfully mentioned they were out of Kalamata olives in case that changed my order, which I appreciated. Both entrees were delicious. The burger stood out thanks to the homemade ketchup, which was especially good. The Greek salad was fresh and flavorful, though a bit light on portion size. Service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive, and by around 7 p.m. on a Friday, the restaurant had become quite busy.
