Absolutely awful, the people who work there walk past customers and refuse to give people the food they ordered. They constantly give you no sauce, the food is made cold I don't understand how the food is cold after if just gets out of the cooker. The only thing this McDonald's does right is the breakfast. The management is awful, the bathrooms are disgusting and grimy. The floors are constantly sticky. And the dining area is always gross, and the tables and seats are never wiped off. Someone needs to get another manager in there, I understand there's a lot going on in restaurants. But it's no excuse, this place needs bleach. It smells like rotten BO! read more

Stopped through for food for myself and my nieces while driving to tn from ga. I don't expect much from a fast food spot so typically I don't care about the rating. I came through the drive thru and order 1 meal and an extra drink and extra sandwich. When I checked my bag the large fry was literally half empty. No big deal I pulled up to the rail and stepped inside to simply ask for it to be filled up. A Caucasian male employee in a navy collar work shirt was storming past me and saying out loud "whose car is right here" as he stormed past me. I turned around and said "me". He turned back around and went back behind the counter and I said "I just came through the drive thru and my large fry was half filled just wanted to get that filled" he said absolutely nothing and seemed annoyed and walked back into the kitchen. Within 30sec he came out with another large fry that was full and told me to have a good day. It was clear he had zero respect for me. Not sure if it's the way I look or my ethnic background but I'm sure it wasn't due to my behavior as I had zero issue with the experience until the rude interaction with this employee. Been a long time since ive been to McDonalds and welp, I was desperate today so I went to this one and boy what a mistake. Drive thru line is backed up so I walk inside. No workers at the cash registers. Go order at the self serve kiosk. Customize my simple order, 2 small burgers (cheese only), fries, drink. End of order. Go to pay, then the kiosk informs me I cant pay there and go to the register. After putting in my simple order it took in the area of 10 minutes for my order to get done, now mind you im only 1 of 2 people inside ordering and the drive thru isnt all that busy cause people are leaving they are taking so long to get orders. As I wait 2 more people come inside from the drive thru cause they messed up their orders / didnt give them their entire order. Guy at the front desk places my order down and barely calls out the #, luckily I wasnt far away so i was able to make out what I think was my # and it was. Look on the bag, my receipt is taped to it....MY RECEIPT OF HOW I WANTED MY ORDER IS TAPED TO THE DAGGUM BAG, BIG BOLD EASY TO READ LETTERS (keep that in mind) Get down the road, open the burgers and these people cant even follow step by step instructions written in bold big ole letters on the dang bag and give me just 2 plain buns and a patty...not a single slice of cheese to be found...but i dang sure got charged for the cheese. read more

I use curbside pickup so that way I don't have to sit around and wait in the drive through line. If I wanted to wait 20 minutes for my food I'd get in the drive through. Why is the drive through line moving faster than the curbside? Shouldn't they be going in order of who paid for their food first? Really don't want to write this review and I'm hoping management will read it. We ordered our food and drinks at 2:42 in the afternoon. The guy that took our order wouldn't talk loud enough for me to answer any of his questions..I won't mention his attire! There was another young man was very friendly and brought us our drinks. Customers came in after us, and received their orders. After asking where our order was, the nice and friendly young man went searching for it. Turns out they threw my order receipt in the trash!!! So they finally filled the order, or partially anyways. We get to the table and find out at 2 of the 3 order of fries was missing. Back I go to the counter and the first young man insisted he gave me my fries! Finally got my order, after 45 minutes. Everytime I've gone in there, there's a safety cone on the flood in front of the order counter. Can't tell if it's water or oily, but it's ALWAYS wet! Time to clean up! read more

This was my first and I would hope my last with this new ordering system of theirs. We placed our order then we were unable to pay at the kiosk so we pressed the button for assistance but was not answered because the staff was way to busy talking to district/corporate people. I had to go to counter twice to get some ones attention. We were still unable to use the kiosk to pay so they had to print out the order at the counter and then pay there. So we did not save any time at all. When the order arrived they had to redo the coffee to make sure it was correct. Also one of the district/ corporate people brought our order to us. The other person was calling in the machine that was not working. Please rethink this policy, too many things are being turned over to machines. Better to talk to a person and order my food. How do we teach our younger generation how to have people skills if all they do is bring our order to our table. Seriously rethinking this would be better. You could take some much needed guidance from Chic-fil-a that is for sure because they do it right all the time. read more

I live in Ellijay and I have to say this is the worst McDonalds in the whole Ga mountain range! My cheeseburgers are overcooked and super dry mini patties. My cheese is not even melted since the burgers are not hot. The buns are dry like they have sat under a heating lamp for hours! Terrible representation of the south and it's food. Not to mention hospitality. I wouldn't give this to my dog. At least my coke is good. The fries are old and stale. Not even going to bother trying to swallow another one down. Let me tell ye a story. Tis a riveting tale. One day, in the time of yesteryear, my kin sent me on a quest for sustenance. They craved the savory taste of a burger and potatoes fried deep in the grease of canola oil. I fueled up thy vehicle and made haste to the local McDonald's to await in a line longer than my ADHD's attention span. Upon pulling up to the talking box beside the pictures, I vocalized my orders. Having it repeated back to me with no errors, I proceeded to the window where the young teenager took my money for the food. Proceeding to the second window to receive said food, I was greeted by an employee handing out food, their face not masked with the protection for the plague. Hesitantly, I took hold of the bag containing food, returning to the home front. Prior to the feast, I opened the bag. What was supposed to be an burger with no onions, surely had onions and then some extra upon it. The Coca Cola was not regular, nay, it was the dreaded DIET which was not what I ordered. The third fry that was supposed to be in the bag, missing! I'm surprised they got a fraction of the order right, because they seldom care enough to actually hand you the right order. Befuddled to this day, I still ask myself "How are they constantly busy with the lack of proper service?" If you want food that is fast and proper, my suggestion is go to Burger King or Wendy's....they at least get your order right far more than this place does. If you want your food with a side of mediocrity and a hot serving of "the employee that made this probably has COVID, just like the person not wearing a mask that handed it to me" this is the place for you. I'm waiting for the day that I get sent back there for food and they hand me a pizza instead of what I ordered, because that's about how accurate they are at getting orders right. This is the worst fast food experience I've ever had. We waited in the drive thru 20 minutes. When we got to the window they asked what our order was. Then told us to pull up and park, someone would bring the order to us. After 5 minutes I went in to find out what was taking so long. They had taken our food to someone else who told them that was not their food. The young lady assumed we had driven off. She said your food is cold now so we'll remake your order. While I was waiting for that she said would you like something free - like some ice cream. I said yes, thank you, 2 Oreo blizzards would be nice. She made 1 M&M blizzard and 1 Oreo! SMH. read more

Husband ordered food from mobile app. After a short wait.(a positive and sadly the only one) the manager brought the order out. Once home we discover that my cheeseburgers had dry old buns that had the ketchup wiped off no pickles or onions. The cheese had the imprint of what could have been the pickles, not sure though. Husband call the store and was told he could not speak to the manager and was then told to go ahead and eat his food and I could come back up there for mine or just wait until tomorrow. He demanded a refund and we returned to the store where the manager said that's its not his problem the food was wrong or employee lied about manager being busy and unable to take the call. They were terrible. They didn't have mask on or wearing gloves in the back and literally had to wait for 20 mins for chicken nuggets.

After seeing the drive thru was going to take 10+ minutes we decided to order inside to go. I ordered a chicken biscuit, hash browns, a double quarter pounder meal, a double cheeseburger, and a large fry. After waiting 15 mins a lady at the counter not in uniform told me "it's taking so long because of the hash browns" which simply means they didn't have any and don't drop any when they saw the order. They also rung me up for a regular quarter pounder (which I didn't realize until returning home) and forgot a fry. When I requested the fry she told me I could go pay for it (which I would have been much more willing to do if they hadn't made excuses and taken longer than the drive thru would've when I was the only person in the lobby. ALSO SERVED AN EMPLOYEE BEFORE ME WHO ORDERED AFTER I DID. The customer service was absolutely awful, the food wasn't spectacular, and took way too long (especially considering I could just see the cook staff standing around not working). Terrible place. I went twice last week. I figured I would give it a second chance. The first time was a Thursday night, not busy at all. The wait time in the drive-thru was ridiculous. Then they forgot some of the food. The fries tasted like they were bathed in salt, I could feel my blood pressure go up after eating some of them. The second time was last night on a Saturday night. Again, the drive-thru wait time was ridiculous and it wasn't busy at all. My daughter actually had to say something to the speaker for us to get acknowledged to place our order after sitting for a couple minutes. Again, they forgot some of the food. Seriously, how hard is it for that guy in the drive-thru to read a receipt and put the correct food in the bag??? Got home with the food and it wasn't good at all. I had a big mac and it was literally half made. There was only 1 patty. It was disgusting. The part that was made was just glopped on. There was more dressing than anything else on the burger.
