There are many choices I'd like to try and we will definitely be back to try some more. Because this was a special meal and we had heard very good things, both of us ordered the ribeye steak. This is a large piece of meat that arrived with mouthwatering presentation. While the flavors were most definitely evident of a quality piece of meat, I would personally not choose this exact entree again. The meat was well cooked, and done to my requested level, but arrived not very warm. I like my food hot and while I acknowledge that a fine steak presentation likely requires a rest time, my own opinion is put off when I feel like my food is in any way on the cold side. I did not complain about this - and it doesn't affect my rating, but it is worth noting and something I'd like to know when making a decision for ordering! Other entrees that I saw coming out around me that I am SO very interested in trying on a future visit were the fried chicken (WOW! The presentation on this dish is NEXT level!) and the salmon! Everything I saw coming to nearby tables looked quite stunning and I'd quite honestly like to try each dish from their menu! ;) This place is quality, it is very evident! We paired our dinner entree with two side items. The side items are large, intended to serve multiple people. We chose the crispy fingerling potatoes and the Brussels sprouts. Both were perfection! We loved them! The Brussels sprouts had SO much flavor! Even the leftovers the next day were so delectable! We finished our meal with the most exceptional dessert! It was a hard decision but we chose the Chocolate Hazelnut Flourless Torte! AMAZING! It was served with an orange creamsicle ice cream which sounds like a strange accompaniment for these flavors but it fit so very well with the dish. The hazelnut crémeux on the side was also exceptional - just a really great dessert, all around! Alongside our dessert we ordered an elevated espresso that was absolute perfection! One of THE best dessert cocktail beverages I have ever had! I highly recommend this either as your dessert or as an accompaniment! So, so good! Even though there were a couple of things during this meal that I personally would not choose to order again, everything was still superb! I can't choose any less than five very deserved stars!! This was such a great experience at a very fine, local, Kalamazoo restaurant!! Be prepared to spend some five star dollar amounts, but also be prepared to receive a five star, not just meal, but entire experience!! ;)

Absolute best McDonalds around. I work here and can assure we strive to be the absolute best and friendliest we can be. Any negative reviews on here more than likely came from people whom are lying straight through their teeth. For example an angry man last night was mad about not getting apple slices he had ordered on the side. It wasnt on his order. However at the back register I had asked him if he wanted me to read his order to insure he got everything he wanted. He declined. Came back 5 minutes later anger as all hell and threatening to harm me and cussing up a storm; telling me I need to learn to do my job right. But I can't ignore what's been happening lately because the shift in service has been impossible to overlook. The past two weekends, my server has been Nalyssa, and both experiences were extremely disappointing. Two weeks ago, she was at the computer system openly talking badly about a coworker--loud enough for my entire family to hear. It made all of us uncomfortable. When she brought our food and it was incorrect, she became defensive instead of willing to fix the issue. She went right back to the computer and started talking badly about my family as well. That was my breaking point. I wanted to speak to a manager, but my family didn't want to be embarrassed. This past weekend, she was our server again, and the behavior continued. She seemed irritated from the moment she approached our table. I overheard her complaining about a bad tip she received, which made me uncomfortable because I consider myself a good tipper, but her comments made me second guess everything. She also used multiple cuss words nearby, which is unacceptable, especially with my young daughter sitting right there. My daughter has been begging to work as a host at Red Robin someday, but after witnessing this behavior, I can't in good conscience encourage her to work in an environment where this is allowed. I'm honestly shocked that Red Robin would allow a server to behave this way. She lacks basic respect and professionalism. We even spoke to a table near us, and they felt the same discomfort. I didn't see any managers available to report this to, but this was the final straw. I truly hope something is done because my family and I are extremely disappointed and frustrated with how drastically the standards have dropped. And to add to everything, two weeks ago I overheard her mention having a manager "fix" a tip, which is a major red flag. I'm speaking up because we've supported Red Robin for years, and it's upsetting to see it decline like this. I hope this message is taken seriously. Thank you.
