Website stated open 24hrs. We had an early flight out of Key West and stopped to get breakfast. Front door was locked so we went to drive through. After numerous attempts to make contact over the squawk box, someone finally responded by saying they were closed to clean. So much for 24 hr service and good customer service. read more

This has to be the slowest and rudest McDonald's in the country. Been here a few times but they are consistently worse every time. I really wish the kids didn't love the Mcgriddles so I didn't have to go back. Even the drive through at 6am takes 10+ minutes. I watched two people get out of line because of the wait. And what ever you do, do not come when they are switching from breakfast to lunch. Instead of both available they have neither. You wait for 15 minutes after you order then they tell you breakfast is over so you have to change your order. The management should be fired. read more

This place has the best music on all day. Service is a little slower than most McDonald's but most of the employees here are from the Caribbean Mon!! If you are in a big hurry go somewhere else. Y'all have to do better training with your staff and let them know they have to notify customers if an item they've ordered is unavailable. It's not okay to give people something they didn't order (especially if there is an up charge involved) and then have the audacity to get upset because the customer didn't want that unauthorized substitution. read more

Where do I begin. If I could give this location negative stars I would. Of all the McDonalds locations I have been to, I have never had such a sorry excuse of fries. I wouldnt even wish my enemies the pain of eating food from this location. All of our food was cold and disgusting. They somehow managed to make their amazing fries taste like fried mattress foam, unsalted, undercooked, and straight up nasty. I have never witnessed nor taste such monstrosity. This may sound crazy, but even the sauce didnt taste correct. The only positive about this location is the apple pie was what you would except it to be. First off when I was ordering the person through the mic had and attitude and was rude and the person at the first window didn't even know what my order was and looked at me like I was stupid when I told her what it was then also had an attitude the whole time. This was the worst McDonalds experience in the drive through! We ordered breakfast on our way out of town thinking it would be a quick stop. Nope! First, the guy taking our orders was extremely rude and condescending. He talked to us like we were idiots placing our order as we ordered separate items for each person in our car After we paid, we were told we needed to pull up and the food would be brought out in a couple of minutes. 20 minutes later we went I shed to see what was going on snd the handed us a bag which had some of the food items and none of the drinks. They couldn't find our order so I had to tell them again, everything we ordered the first time. They put a wrong item in a bag - my daughter Wanted just a sausage biscuit (no egg because she's allergic) and when I looked at it and checked, the guy rolled his eyes and said give it back. So I handed it back and he threw it in the trash. 35 minutes later, we got our order and left. After we got on the road, we were handing out items and realized we were still missing an orange juice and the unsweetened tea we ordered was sweetened. Grrrr. I hate sweet tea and McDonald's always messes this up! read more

Thankful that Key West has a McDonalds but this one def needs improvement. Nice location and new construction looks great but it does no good if the service is still not great. Overall for fast food it's a good experience. I usually visit overnight and the night employee Jay is really great at customer service. Remembers my name and orders. Only thing I'd have to complain about is the loss of customer service by them adding the automated ordering system. It's very impersonal. Look, I'm a McDonald's loyalist, but gimme a break here. Spend 5 min training your workers on the McCafe drinks, and for goodness sakes move the drive thru cashier to a back room position.
