It was only 37 degrees this morning when I woke up and I was not interested in fiddling with the coffee maker. Sure, 37 degrees is nothing to write home about but this is mid-June and it's not supposed to be that cold. Icky. McDonald's was open and friendly. I got a large coffee from the friendly young lady who was serving the dining room and juggling the drive through. The coffee was the usual hot and she did put the right amount of creamer in there. The dining room is super clean other than they have flipped over several of the booths, I assume for social distancing. One of the booths has two power outlets, and of course there's the free McDonald's wifi, so I spent about an hour and a half here this morning doing my first work phone calls before starting the day on the road. I generally prefer McDonald's over most fast food places, but I feel there are other places in town with more of a variety. Location can get a little busy at times, so it looks like a tornado ran through the building and the play area. My favorites from here are the standard McDouble and the pancake platter (Don't go to the other side, of town come here) read more

I'm very disappointed in the new McDonald's that JUST opened in Laramie. I went tonight to get the new chicken tenders after already stopping at Walmart to see what they had and upon my return home I instantly regretted my decision. Before I left I had to request the staff to top the caramel macchiato I ordered off as it was 2 inches below the lip of the cup. Second My fries had been tipped over and were all over inside the bag. And thirdly the chicken tenders are old and hard as if they had been sitting under the heat lamp for hours. I called after returning home and Neil the manager gave me a free meal on my next visit. I live in Laramie and have always had a horrible experience here. Super unaccommodating. My mobile app automatically changed my original set location so when i went to a different one which is the one it was set at they wouldnt change my order to the location i had gone to. As i proceeded to cancel my order and place it with the guy at the window, i went to the next window to pay. I had a deal on my app that i had been trying to use and the lady was very rude and told me i would only be able to use the deal through the app. which i did but i had to cancel since it went to the wrong place. She very sternly told me that i would have to wait 10 min to use it and id have to mobile order it through the app even though i gave her my entire phone to show her. then proceeded to charge me a stupid $10 for four nuggets, fries, and a small drink. I have been more and more unimpressed with this McDonalds and they are not accommodating to customers. Very rude too. I will as often as possible never come there again. read more

Updating 6 years later: they completely replaced the old restaurant with the newest design. It's very nice. The people who work here do a great job and are friendly. They also follow posted safety protocols, which gives me confidence that their food is safe to eat. So, all the good things I mentioned in my first review, but even better now. read more

Honestly disappointed in my late night McDonalds run. The lady on the drive through was dumb. She didn't tell us that they were out of sweet tea until after we had already paid and we're waiting at the second window. Not to mention that we were waiting in the line at the window for a good 15-20 minutes when there was one car in front of us. The lady was dismissive, gave us one of each sauce when we asked for a bunch. And the fries were so cold, they tasted like they were 5 days old and were sitting under my seat in the car. I usually go to this McDonalds because I'm heading home (100 miles away). I only order hot tea, hamburgers and occasionally ice cream sundaes. They have never gotten my order correct in the last year. Last night was no different. I ordered three cups of hot tea with sugar. The water was lukewarm and tasted like left over coffee. Initially the didn't give me the tea bags, I had to ask. I order a small sweet tea which was also lukewarm and no ice. The fries were cold, soggy and greasy and having been a short order cook, I can tell they had been sitting for some time. I also order a hamburger now and then and it is obviously a real chore to get everything on the burger rather than half on and half off. This is generally all I order and they have yet to get it all right. I'm not a hard to please person but I don't think a decent cup of tea and good french fries is that much to ask. The McDonald's over on the corner of Grand near Ridleys is much better and my order is always perfect and the people at the window seem to be happy to see me! I realize this may not be your dream job, and you're trying to figure out your schedule, but how about waiting till your customers are served and satistifed. From now on I will take the extra few minutes to go back to the one on the east side of town and get my "leaving town order". read more

They up charged me for an orange juice and when I called and told them about it the guy didn't really have much to say other than they can give me my money back. And they lady who helped me didn't give me my receipt until I asked. I honestly think they just want to take your money. read more

Waited 30+ minutes in the drive through. Understandable but all I ordered was a McDouble and a medium fry and they somehow managed to get the order wrong. Got a cheese burger and a small fry but paid $4.01... when the order was read off too me the girl employee asked me if I had ordered a cheeseburger and fry and I asked "McDouble right?" She paused, looked at the monitor and said ya I see that. Definitely not what I got. Also never pick the inside line because you will wait and watch as people swoop past you from the outside line...all in all pretty bummed read more

I made an order on the app that included a smoothie. I get to the store and tried to pick my order up. The app gave me an error message so I had to go the counter. Manager tells me the error was because i ordered a smoothie and they couldn't make smoothies right now. I say ok. I'll take a large orange juice. She then proceeds to attempt to make me pay for the food I had already paid for and that they'll give me a refund at "some point". I didn't have the $9.73 to spend in addition to the $10.68 I had already spent. Don't let people order things off your app if they're not available. Terrible management. But the floor was sweeped and mopped when I went in, the tables were wiped off, everything looked clean and the food was also pretty fresh, tasted like a typical american fast food burger. However, they reimbursed us for the long wait with free parfait yogurt and French fries. Furthermore, after getting the food, the manager went up to us to confirm the food was good. I hope I don't get food poisoning. The soda fountain was covered with dried-up splashes of soda (if they don't clean the outside, they probably don't clean the inside, where bacteria can grow.). After a lot of tears and disappointment after disappointment we decided to check out the local McDonald's. I was AMAZED with WONDERFUL service the second I walked in the door, I was greeted and complimented. I ordered from the screens which I didn't know was possible (that's the power of German engineering right here) and then I was seated at a VERY clean table. Food came VERY fast right from the oven.
