As far as Mc Donald's go, this is an excellent example. Let me start by pointing to the convenient location on Main Street. It is directly across from the Chevron gas station, walking distance from the county buildings. It is spitting distance from the I-80 at exit 106, which has on and off ramps in both directions, making it great for those passing through to fuel up and get food. The drive through has plenty of room to queue up without blocking the street and the parking lot is more than large enough to accommodate anything short of a Burning Man munchie rush. The lobby and restrooms have always been clean every time I have gone in. The staff is prompt, friendly and accurate. The food quality has always been refreshingly excellent. After visiting this McDonald's, I have come away with what I would like to see in my home town locations. read more

Drive thru experience was horrible. Workers weren't friendly or courteous or helpful. Overall poor customer service. Stopped here with my mom and I ordered a meal while she ordered a cone and 2 pies. We were helped my a young blonde female and she only gave us a cone and a pie for my mom's order and closed the window. We honked our horn for them to open the window to let them know we were missing a pie, and she appeared to be ignoring our car horn. Then another younger male worker tapped her shoulder to let her know we hadn't left but she continued to ignore us and went and made a milkshake. The younger male coworker then turned, looked at us, didn't open the window and just laughed. I'm unsure of what was amusing? We still waited and no one still opened the window but they were all there just looking at us and then walked away. Finally an older woman worker appeared from the back and asked us what was wrong and we told her we were missing a pie. She went and grabbed one while the blonde girl who had previously given us our bag stated "the pie is in the bag". We informed them yes, there's a pie in the bag but we paid for 2 and we only got 1. Then my mom told the older woman worker that she wasn't pleased with the customer experience we just had and wanted to speak to a manager. She got her manager and he came to the window. My mom told him what happened about how we tried to get them to open the window as our order wasn't complete and they simply stood there laughing through the window. He apologized and my mom stated she'll be notifying corporate and we drove off. Maybe the workers were having a bad day but judging by the past reviews this place already has, I'd say customer service isn't their strong suit. I understand it may be stressful and a bit annoying at times to be a food worker and have people in your face all the time, but at the end of the day it's a job and customer experience should be important. If you don't like your job or don't like interacting with people, then please get a different job. Overall I'm glad we'll never be coming here again as we were passing through but it's sad that we'll now remember the town of Lovelock by this terrible experience. read more

Welcome to a small town in the Nevada desert, where employment options are already slim to non-existent... so McDonalds opts to eliminate what few jobs remain in the community by putting in a kiosk (that is a pain in the patoot to use by the way) and now it's a hassle to place an order. Step right up and wait for the person in front of you to try and navigate the gigantic touch screen where a cashier and member of the community once stood... until it's your turn to provide some free labor to McD's while you stand and scroll, scroll, point, click, scroll, scroll, scroll, and scroll some more, through all the items to select the options you want, instead of allowing their friendly staff to quickly and efficiently take your order. In fact the staff is prohibited from taking orders through a register in the lobby anymore, but they will stand by and help you figure out how to order through the obnoxious kiosk. It was ridiculous to navigate through each and every single ingredient option for every sandwich just to add or subtract a condiment or badly wilted leaf of lettuce. I regret the stop here and will not visit any mcdonalds anywhere, ever after this disaster. Shameful to squeeze out employment opportunities in such a small struggling town. The food was garbage, old, ugly, overpriced, the company has no respect for the community that supports it, and it shows. read more

Atmosphere - The bathrooms sucked as the hot water only had cold water running from the tap. The hand dryers were just as cold. They are in a serious need of remodeling. Food Appetizer - None now Main Course - We both ordered coffee and I went with a large caramel mocha. It was really good. It hit the spot for being nice and hot, the temperature lasted the whole drink, it was a cold morning and felt good. In addition to the clean bathroom and convenient location (my minimum standards for quick road stops), my 19 year old daughter and I were greeted by a friendly cashier and received our food quickly, exactly as we ordered. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to accommodate my request for a lettuce wrap with two big, green fresh leaves of lettuce. The best part of the experience, and what prompted this review was how we witnessed the team working together. I had noticed a man (Pablo) who appeared to be an in-store manager run (literally) an order to a car that was parked just outside. I assume there was a problem with the drive-thru. Then he returned to do the same thing a couple more times and said, "We did it! Good job Ladies!" Someone from the back shouted out, "Thanks, Good job, Boss!" This is the NASTIEST place I have ever been to! The workers are gross and have no respect. You are working in this industry because you want to that's what you chose. Don't take it out on my family. To start, I'm not generally a picky person and my expectations of McDonalds are not that high, but this visit was just ridiculous. The cashier was high, he didn't ask for here or to go on our order, didn't ask what size meals, he just chose everything for us. The food prep person couldn't figure out which meals were who's, the food and coffee were cold, the drive through attendant was in an argument on a her cell phone while trying to take orders. The second cashier/supervisor didn't ask if I wanted cream or sugar in my coffee and got annoyed when I asked her for some. The Café was dirty, the soda was warm, and the employees served their friends without shoes on and then let them smoke weed on the patio. We only stop here a few times a year, passing through Lovelock, and all of our visits to this store have been pretty much the same. read more

You wait at the register for 15-20 minutes (4 people in line)to place an order not one employee acknowledges you including the shift manager who is doing French fries. I'm not ashamed to admit I love McDs. Like I've said before it was my first real job as a kid. This McDonald's was STELLAR! My wife went in their looking for a Shopkins Happy Meal Toy. Amazing what we'll do for our kids isn't it?...... Anyway, the staff in this store went out of their way to find a specific toy for us. Very few stores will do this. The one employee was on her knees looking through all the Happy Meal boxes. Way above the call of duty!! The Manager brought out a full box of the toys to help us find the one we were missing. Seriously would give this place negative stars if I could. Waited 5+ minutes to even place our order (there was someone in front of us, not sure if they had a large order, no big deal). Got to the speaker, ordered a Big Mac meal with sweet tea, and two kids meals with just grilled cheese (buns with cheese, grilled). They had a hard time understanding how to do that and said they weren't sure how it would turn out. We had to explain the process of grilling buns with cheese to 2 separate people. The woman behind us honked at us twice (once when we had someone in front of us, once when we were ordering). We also ordered a medium fry. When we got to the window, the pay here window was there, but brooms were up against the register and no one was there (no sign saying next window please like we're used to), so we moved to the next window. After we paid, she asked us to pull ahead and they would bring our food out when it was done. What?? We pulled ahead but there was no place to park in the drive thru, so we parked in a spot and went in to pick up the food. The lobby was filthy and there was a woman waiting at the counter that was yelling 'hello? I need help!' Turns out that the drink was also a regular tea instead of a sweet tea, so we had to make another trip in to get the correct drink. At least the honking woman behind us, if not more, had to pull around and park as well to wait for her food. So unorganized. I don't expect much when I go to McDonalds. A burger, some fries, and hopefully a tasty beverage to wash it down. I'm not big on McDonalds... but when you are on the road after a vacation full of partying, they help. This is, hands down, the best McDonalds I have ever been to. I stopped by on my way to Boise from San Fran and had a $1.39 double cheeseburger that, I can only imagine, was meant for a celebrity. It was picture perfect and so delicious. The fries were crispy and tasted just as good as they did when I was a little kid. I thought this must have been a fluke, so I stopped in again on my way back to San Fran, and sure enough, they delivered the goods. Same order, same quality. No three dollar lunch has a right to be this good, but these guys just care I guess. I will be stopping by this great little spot every time I do this drive. If you're in the area, fill up at the Chevron across the street and stop in to this place. They will remind you why you grew up loving McDonalds and will probably keep you from bothering with the horrible one you have down the street. read more

The manager yelled at an employee from the front counter "Do you know what a five minute break looks like" after using that line 2 times in front of another employee while at the counter (referring to the missing employee). Went in there last night about 9pm with friends and family, 8 people all together. We had been at the racetrack through very high winds, rain and even thunder and lighting. At least one in the party was soaked through. There was a woman in a green shirt in the back of the place, a guy in a plaid shirt doing something with the fryer near the front. Lady in green shirt did say she would be with us in a minute (not like the place was crowded). On her way she stopped to speak to guy at fryer and I thought I overheard something about ' no French fries'. I asked if there were no fries available and lady replied something to the effect that it may be 20 minutes. She never actually came to the counter to take our order(s), nor did she actually come up and explain about any delay with the fries. After waiting several minutes and just standing around, we left, hungry! Mc Donalds lost about $60.00 in sales at that moment. I'd starve before I would go there again. read more
