I guess he has to walk there from his house, so by the time he gets his lunch he's all bitter and $#it. Dunno Scott, never had to get a free burger coupon cus Ive never had any complaints. Maybe its the time of day, and the place starts choking during the rush and starts loading up the heat lamps and screwing up orders. I usually don't give places 1 stars unless they deserve it. This McDonald's is notorious in the area and for good reason. Across from the equally bad Popeyes, this McDonalds has several issues. They aren't supplied properly, so stuff like Soda and menu items can be out of stock. You wait forever for food to get made, and not just the made to order stuff like the QPC, but even the other stuff already made like apple pies have a wait. The staff try their best, but its a failed effort to try polishing a disappointing location. Just go to a different McDonald's if you feel like it. The one near the courthouse is more consistent and won't have you banging your head against the wheel in your car wondering why its taking so long and why they don't have stuff. read more

Worst of the worst. While you'd think that a chain-restaurant such as McDonalds would have some consistency, this place drags it down further the dirt, buries it and then spits on it. From mis-made orders to the constant mistakes it's not hard to tell why the reviews here are so low but the employees seem to make the experience 10x worse than it has to be. I live very close to this location and really wanted it to be at least as-good-as if not better than the regular McDonalds it has absolutely let me down on almost every single level possible. While I've usually had a higher than average share of issues with restaurants (chain and otherwise) this place is more than 80% of the time. Whether it's inaccurate orders, overly long wait times, incorrect/stale/cold/bad food or anything else the employees (and most importantly the owner) are the worst. I've given them far too many chances to make things right and they never improve, they actually seem to have gotten worse with time. The one person I talked to that seemed like they actually understood what the many problems there were (and how to fix them) was a district manager. The actual managers in the store itself and the owner do not really care to address anything. If you get a bad meal or they mess up your order they'll give you a free meal but they don't seem interested in fixing the issues. So if all you're going to do is offer me more bad/incorrect food and horrible service, for free, what's the point? read more

Fat manager with ring in her nose stole $20 from me after cashier rang up things that I didn't even order. she wouldn't give me food that I did order or a refund. I called the local police. They got me a "corporate" phone number to call on Monday morning. I called that number and left a message but received no callback. I went to police station and got a case number. I wonder if the situation were reversed, if McDirtbags would have been given a "corporate" phone number to call or if I would have been arrested. Manchester promotes itself as the 'City of Village Charm'. If they can attract a few more businesses like this one and if their police department proves to be as adept in handling other theft cases as they did with this one, then maybe they can become known as the 'City of Village Idiots'. So I usually don't go to McDonald's, but I went today to get Hot Fudge Sundaes. I had seen these 1-Star reviews before because I live nearby, but I never thought it would be this bad. So I got into the line to order on drive-thru. I waited, and then waited some more. Eventually I saw people behind me backing up and getting to the Lane 1. I was in Lane 2. The car in front of me had someone waiting, and eventually left. I could see that something was ordered, on the screen. But that was my mistake. The stuff showing up on my screen was whatever the other lane was ordering. I looked over and their screen showed nothing. I called a few times but there was no response. So I backed also and stood behind two cars on Lane 1. Looked like they weren't moving as well. 10-12 minutes later, I wanted to leave. But my kids wanted the Sundaes so I decided to go inside. Inside was like a fish-market. Everyone behind the counter was yelling to another for something. Apparently they had run out of Lobster and had been taking orders. People had ordered in the window and had parked their cars and come inside. Manager was nowhere to be seen. Hiding!!! I told one of the girls that they need to close out Lane 2 of the Drive-Thru as the COMs were not working and people are waiting. She ignored. It's the petite girl. She said she'll take my order and what did I need. I told her what and she said ok. Another 3-5 minutes later I asked her again. She said the register is not open and I should get in the other line. That pissed me off...finally. And I decided to write up this review. I got in line in the other register, with two customers ahead of me. When I got to the register, I told the lady about the Drive-Thru system not working. She said, maybe they are pressing the wrong button. But she didn't do anything about it. I shook my head and ordered my Sundaes, grand total of less than $3, and all this pain. I thought my misery was over, but it wasn't. Because of the Over-ordering of Lobster rolls, that they were out of, they were trying to correct all that and I was supposed to wait for that since I was behind them. Another 5 minutes (seeming like a lifetime) later, they came but without peanuts. So when I asked, the petite girl said someone is getting them from "the back". She eventually had to go herself to get them. OMG! Two Sundaes, 20-25 minutes! The employees are loud, mismanaged, and a total disaster. Ironically, my wife just turned on the McDonald's movie "The Founder" and right now they are talking about the Golden Arches. What a Shame this place is compared to even the McDonalds of the 50s. read more

Do not go here. I decided to go here for the first time tonight. Ordered small fries and a parfait through the drive through. The drive through took forever. After a long wait, I handed the young lady my card to pay. She walked away from the window where the cash register was nowhere near the window and definitely not in your eyesight. The card was swiped and then she walked around for 1.5 minutes with my card out of my eyesight. What the BLEEP?! I immediately felt very strong intuition that my credit card information could be copied, skimmed or photographed. There is NO REASON for a drive through operator should have you card longer than the five seconds to swipe and return the card immediately. All while in your full view. Starbucks does this. Dunkin' Donuts does this. Heck, the Wendy's just four doors down does this. When I mentioned this to the manager she assured me my credit card information hadn't been compromised. You know who I trust? Definitely not a stranger or some shady person who is doing god knows what with my card out of my eyesight and acting out of the usual from all my other drive through experiences. Called the bank and canceled my card. My intuition was that strong that something went down. Thanks for that McDonalds. 5-7 business days before I get a new one. I have gone to this McDonald's 3 times as they are close to my house. I gave them too many chances thinking "today will be different". Every time I went, I waited at least 10 minutes in the drive through with only 2 cars in front of me. I am very understanding and patient, as I have worked in customer service for 8 years with the public, but this is ridiculous! Something has to change with their staff. Look, I pretty much know what to expect when I'm going to a McDonald's. We don't get fast food that often but when we do, my kids like McDonald's chicken nuggets and chicken sandwiches. This location is by far the worst I've been to. One of my boys wanted a chicken sandwich on our way to my Moms house who lives down the street. We went through the drive-through and we were barely acknowledged at the pay window. The young woman at the window took my money without even saying hello, and turned her back to me and started playing on her cell phone before she even returned my change. I asked her if I was supposed to proceed to the next window and she said no. She then gave me my change and again turned her back to the open window and was on her cell phone. I sat there for a good couple minutes because I wanted to see how long she was going to just leave me hanging like that. Along with her having her back to me, her coworkers were also non-challant looking at me like I was out of place. I really did not understand what was going on so again I said, "do you want me to proceed to the next window for my food" and she said "no your food's not ready yet." It was quite an uncomfortable few minutes. Even my son asked, "Mama, is something wrong?" Sitting there for a good 5 minutes total, I will say I was able to look around the back of the restaurant where they were making the food. It was decent looking, but the staff was all pretty miserable, swearing and acting like they're doing you a favor. Won't be going back. Ever. read more

Stay away from this one! Their definition of "masks required" is to wear a mask around the chin. Employees preparing and serving food rarely have masks on properly. Even the manager on duty was taking orders with his mask pulled down under his nose! Management does not respond to emails when questioning in store safety protocols. read more

Id say I've visited this location about a dozen times maybe slightly more, since I moved into the area in the last 2 years. Not once, literally NOT ONCE have I ever been able to get through the drive thru in under 15 minutes, not even when I have been the only car in line! I have actually timed it over 25-30 minutes more than a few times. Tonight, I figured I'd give it another try. 11:00 at night ONE car at the drive thru window, figured no way this should be quick! Nope, I should have known better. I sat at the speaker for over 5 min, (only car there) waited, waited waited as you usually do here and finally after 10 min of waiting I was finally able to order. Whoever I was speaking to was either half drunk or half asleep and I could barely make out what he was saying. Pull up to the window, no ones there to take my money so I waited waited waited, pull up to the next window, no ones there, so I waited waited waited and no one came. I finally just drove off. I'm not playing the wait around game with this place anymore they have lost my business. The service is consistently horrendous. I came on here to see if other people have had similar experiences and to no surprise they have. I have never had such a consistently bad experience ANYWHERE time after time after time again.
