Ass coffee
Jeannine M.

I do like this location..everyone is fast & friendly & sometimes they'll forget to put sugar in my hot coffee but a lot of Dunkin employees do. But today (9/8/22) I was there before 11am & ordered 2 hot large with 3 creams & 4 sugars.. one for my 12 hour shift at the hospital & the other for my husband. When I got to work my coffee was mostly water. I've had sum bad coffees from DD before but this one topped it off. I called & explained what happened & was told they're open 24 hours.. did she not hear me when I said I'm doing a 12 hour shift & my husband has my vehicle and I won't be drinking a coffee at midnight when I get out of work to be right back at 11am! I told her that Dunkin has one job & it's to make coffee the right way. She said they had a bad morning and that I probably make mistakes too & I said not if my only job was To Make The Coffee! I'm so done with all Dunkin's in general. Customer service is ass in most of them and the food is ass and the Coffee has turned into Water & not Wine! I called Corporate to educate their workers on how to make coffee. What a fuc***disappointment to my busy day!

Good fast service but sometimes the drinks taste odd as if they need to clean the nozzles or something.

Bought a medium Hazelnut coffee and it tasted like crap. Service was ok except I had to tell the cashier my order twice.

They always make my coffee perfect and don't put too much cream cheese on my bagel.

"It's good to be king and have your own world It helps to…read moremake friends; it's good to meet girls A sweet little queen who can't run away It's good to be king, whatever it pays" (Tom Petty) I was surprised to see so many negative reviews here, characterizing King's Donuts as "dry, stale, excessively "crumbly", or with raw uncooked centers. One review even said the donuts tasted like "Play Doh and/or paint thinner". Let me say this as clearly as I can, the donuts and crullers we just picked up were FANTASTIC, as fresh as could be, and 100% wonderful. We picked up a variety of cake donuts, traditional Yeast-Raised Donuts, cruller sticks, and donut holes the other day, and we were 1,000% happy with their taste, size, and freshness. I loved their Cherry Cake donut! It was so big I really should have split it with my wife but didn't. They have 28 flavors on their website, baked in small batches with rotating flavors. Prices start at $2.49 for a single classic glazed donut, then go to $2.99 for a filled donut (jelly, custard or fruit), and then $3.25 for Specialties. For you big spenders out there, a Cinnamon Roll is $3.49, and an Apple Fritter is $3.75. These prices seem pretty reasonable to me, considering how big and excellent I found their donuts to be,

This is a delicious donut! I stopped by Faddy's Donuts because I've heard from a few people that these are THE BEST! And they aren't wrong. These come from a food truck, in this case a Donut Truck, it is parked in front of Cabela's in East Hartford. They had a variety of very generous donuts lined up. The Boston Creme donut, was so pouffy and enlarged, from the very generous amount of the custard filling. There was a bacon donut, an apple cider donut, among others. I wish I could remember the exact name of the one I got, it might have been called Maple Pecan Chocolate. The food truck also sells popcorn and apple cider. My donut was $4. Since this is a food truck, and it was raining, I had no option but to take it to my car. This donut was jam packed with pecans, chocolate and maple frosting. It was so sticky, and messy but absolutely delicious! The donut it's self was super soft and fresh! These donuts need to be known about. I can't even imagine how tasty the other options are. I can't wait to return here very soon!

Good local bakery with traditional and exotic baked goods…read more I come to Carlitos on the occasion for a cupcake or slice of cheesecake. I personally am not a major fan of filled cupcakes, but sometimes I do appreciate a pudding filled pure decadence cupcake. The crumb is tender, the frosting is plentiful, and the price is reasonable. Sometimes the selection can be a bit limited, but it's still a very solid bakery for the area. One of the better places in the area for a sweet treat.

This was the second cake the Carlitos bakery made for the shower because I DROPPED THE FIRST ONE! I picked the first cake and within 15 minutes a dropped it getting out the car. I called Carlitos immediately! Not only did the owner graciously made another, but most importantly, the cake was for an event the very next day! The miracle and patience this woman had was commendable. Needless the day the service is 10/10! The food: JESUS! I've used Carlitos before the bridal shower. She made a cake for my sisters birthday and some pastries for a friend's event. The mini cheese cake sups are delectable! Mouth watering and the perfect portion. The quesitos are rich and fluffy. The atmosphere: Inviting. It feels like friendship. Like a home. Almost like Sunday mornings at your aunts house or grandmas. The place is clean and warm. The display cases are full and very tempting! Pricing: BEYOND fair. When I dropped the cake she charged me less than the first one. Please stop by and give the wonder small business some love!

We visited The Angry Egg on Friday, June 26th after it recently reopened under new management…read more The waitstaff seemed nervous and inexperienced, which is understandable with a newly reopened restaurant. Despite that, everyone was friendly and trying their best. The food, however, was absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful and exceeded our expectations. The owner also stopped by our table to introduce himself and check on our meal. He came across as genuinely kind and passionate about creating a great dining experience. It's clear he cares about both the food and his customers. We'll definitely be back and look forward to seeing this restaurant continue to grow and succeed.

Greasy spoon diner still learning the ropes…read more Angry egg is back open, under new ownership and with a revamped decor. Staff was polite but green. Nice but not overly friendly. Owner was working hard, doing prep items while the rest of the staff remained idle. Asked my server what most people order, and was told either the breakfast platter or the cali sammich. Decided on the sandwich, to get a good sense of how they worked. Food came out after a short wait. Took pics and dug in. Egg was cooked fine, bread lightly toasted, avocado was on the bottom of the sandwich. Also sandwich was very much an omelette in between two pieces of bread. There was also omission of two ingredients (peppers and bacon), the onions were cooked not caramelized, and there was a lot of mozzarella for a cali themed breakfast dish. A lot of what was not great is easy to contribute to confusion. Home fries with a sandwich limits a dish to a dine-in experience which isn't ideal for the grab and go diner. Sandwich composition dictates flavor intensity on bite, and presentation matters more for dine in than to go. Missing ingredients, that's a slip of the kitchen and the servers. It's how the restaurant reacts and pivot that determines how they will fare. The owner was receptive of feedback, and talked to his staff on each issue brought up. It seems like the owner is heavily invested in the success of his spot but is not quite ready to hand reins over to his staff. There will need to be that transition, there's just too many hats to wear as an owner to handle the busy work as well. For those looking for a nice spot to have some eggs n bacon, this spot works. It's not glamorous eats, but it's functional and prepped well enough. I will have to try them again once they figure out their rhythm, but right now they are okay.
