New clean Mikey Ds. This is more of the newer style, which is mostly automated. I ordered a triple quarter pounder with no bun. It came out hot and fresh, absolutely delicious. I enjoyed my lunch. I had McDonald's from this location as a quick and easy dinner after work the other evening. My order was accurate and the food was good. My order arrived quickly, as I utilized delivery. I was surprised by the cost. The McChicken had been a dollar menu item, and now has more than tripled in price. Considering the quality and cost, I may would think about eating from elsewhere in the future. The convenience and quick service is definitely a plus. read more

Qualification: this is a 5 star review for a McDonald's. Specifically a McDonald's. Never thought I would be a person writing a McDonalds review on Yelp, but... we stopped here on the way from Baltimore to Bedford, PA and this is by far the nicest McDonalds I have been in. The staff was friendly, the whole place was clean, the bathroom was (dare I say, NICE?). Obviously driving in America you have your choice of McDonald's pretty much every 2 miles, but I strongly recommend you choose this one. read more

This was the most awful fish sandwich I ever ate. It was grease drenched in old oil , but the cheese was hard as a rock and obviously was sitting on a bun for hours! This happened after sitting at least 10 minutes in the drive thru waiting for our food to be prepared. Stay away from this location. read more

I live not too far away from the McDonald's and for a long time we avoided going to it because of the terrible service, wrong orders and bad food quality. But then they got better, for a little while. Now they're sliding again. The order for our fish sandwiches took too long and when we got them home and opened up the container it looked like they threw it into the box from across the room. Absolutely crappy service. I understand having a limited staff is frustrating but I should not have to wait 10 minutes in line for the "manager" to take my order incorrectly. He was rude, and unwilling to ask me if i needed something after standing at pickup counter and saying "excuse me" every minute. We finally got our food after 20 minutes, fries were cold and we were missing the Frappes that I apparently wanted and when I finally get to speak to him about them, he makes a smart comment. He disappears and comes back with them after a couple of minutes. The poor guy next to me was waiting forever to get there order taken as well. What a joke. read more

They could have at least added some milk or ice to make it look like a whole drink. This has to be the worst McDonald's I have ordered from. Totally a breakfast order. I ordered the big breakfast with a cinnamon bun as a side order. The pancakes were cold and 2 of the pancakes were hard kinda like still frozen, eggs not cooked very runny and the biscuit was hard as a rock, hash brown was cold and hard and I ordered, out about 8:05 am. Order was so bad my dogs wouldn't eat this crap. I ended up throwing the entire order in the trash. I will never do business with this McDonald's again. read more

I usually go to this McDonald's and get a caramel ice coffee. I went yesterday morning to get my normal ice coffee. After I've drove away from the restaurant I taste the coffee and it tastes like rancid milk. Yuck. So I got back to McDonald's and go inside and talk to the assistant manager in duty. I told him - this tastes like rancid milk. He just looked at me with the nastiest look and said - there's not milk in the ice coffee, it's cream - In my head I'm like wow what a way to talk to an unhappy customer. Anyways he turns around and looks like he's about to go make a new coffee and I asked if I could have a refund ( why would I want another coffee from a place who is using expired cream.) Anyways when I asked him for the refund he looked soooo pissed off like it was the hugest hassel of his life. And he tried they "just" opened the cream. There's no way in hell that stuff wasn't expired and today I'm having severe food poisoning. read more

Went here after fly into Harrisburg airport after 10 pm... all the shops were closed inside the airport. Needed a quick dinner before going to my motel an hour away. There were probably 2 to 3 people working there, and one guy was manning the drive through and the front counter. The service was good, the wait time was okay, the flowers were freshly mopped, but around the soda machine and the front counter, it was dry and sticky. The meal was fine... the same as most other McDonalds. read more

Went and stopped a couple days ago before going to work and ordered a small fry and a medium Coke. Ordered a sandwich with NO PICKLE. The sandwich comes with the receipt on top that says NO PICKLE. It has pickles. I take it back up and tell them I asked for no pickles, the manager hands the cook the sandwich,she takes the pickles off of the sandwich and hands back out. Really I said, I could have done that myself. I want a new sandwich because I don't want pickles on it for a reason. After a few minutes I finally got my new sandwich. What a mess. Over processed unwanted discard beef that is high in bacteria then they wash the meat in ammonia to kill bacteria then they make patties out of it. The quality of meat is dog food level per examination. NO idea what the long term effect of eating this are. Their is about 0 nutritional level when eating the standard burger. Just when you think your day can't get any worse, my wife ask me to stop at McDonald's. My order was 2 hamburgers, 1 lg fry, 1 quarter pounder, 1 big Mac, 2 sodas, I pay for the order pull forward to pick up food and I have to wait for my order. After waiting for several minutes, my order is handed to me and not thinking I pull away from the window and proceed to leave the parking lot. As I leave I reach into my bag for fries and they were cold, so I looked into the parking lot and the drive thru is full of cars, I proceeded home. When I get home in a matter of minutes, I unpacked my food only to find the hamburgers were semi hot, the quarter pounder with cheese was cold and so was the Big Mac. I'm sure the people who ordered after me might have gotten lucky and got warmer food then me since I was given the cold food. I'm sure somebody will contact me and say they are sorry and they will offer to send me some coupons and most times the coupons never reach me. I'm not writing this post to get something free, I write a post in hopes that McDonald's will attempt to rectify this problem, and giving out free coupons doesn't fix lazy. It doesn't seem like rocket science to figure out if you are serving cold or hot food. If I order ice cream it should be cold, if I order fries or a burger it should be served hot. I would like to know if the manager on duty even cares what is being served on there shift? read more

This is one of the most consistently bad Mcdonalds in existence. From the owners lack of care on down, this is the place that has made me swear off McDonalds forever. Thank you. Horrible experience in the drive thru! My wife and I ordered two sausage muffins no egg and THREE breakfast burritos. When I was checking my order they missed the third burrito. The girl in the window had an attitude and the manager was extremely RUDE!!! I don't eat at McDonald's often, as a I value my calorie intake, but I've been in this one a few times since it's so close to my apartment. This place is extremely hit or miss. Sometimes you get what you ask for, and sometimes you don't; it's really dependent on who is working that day or night. Granted, this type of thing happens at many fast food places, but this place seems to be more inconsistent than most in the area. So if you feel like taking a gamble every once in a while, this is your place. Or you could just go play the slots at the casino; you'll probably have better luck. read more
