I'm so sad to see a bad review for this location. It is typically one that I can always rely on. For example, on my last visit, the person that took my order gave me info about how to save money through the app and also gave us info on how to ask for our specific condiment needs at the last window. To start with the people who work here are always friendly, polite, and fast. The food is always up to usual McDonald's standard. But--the order accuracy is lacking. 25% of the time you will not get what you ordered and I know that number seems high but I eat here a couple times a week(I know i know) and I ran the numbers. That being said, they never mess up my order in the exact same way. I didn't realize there were so many ways to not give me a bacon egg McMuffin but it turns out there are. Many. Ways. Most of them are simply by not handing me anything that is remotely close to a bacon egg McMuffin. But I'm always in a hurry and forget to check the bag and honestly wouldn't go back into line anyway. So there ya go. I'm an every day customer I even go twice a day to buy food for my son and breakfast and they used to be so good on not messing up with your orders until a few months ago there is this lady who's Hispanic and she has a bad attitude and give the worst service. She's was so rude to me on Sunday night May 14, 2023 on Mother's Day. The foods at most McDonald's are pretty consistent, but the restaurant locations themselves can vary a bit in "niceness". That said, this McDonald's on SE McLoughlin is pretty nice. I happened to stop in to get some fries (which were predictably good) and was pleased to see how clean and well-furnished this location is. It has an indoor children's playland which is quite roomy. It has a couple of long communal tables with fixed stools for seating. Actually, it's those STOOLS that got my attention because they're actually very cushy and comfortable. . .much better to sit on than a hard plastic chair or booth. OK, that's it, what distinguishes this McDonald's from others (and makes it "nicer") is the comfy stools. A small matter, but duly noted. read more

Since they are now only drive-thru, this McD's has really stepped up their game from what I can see. Nothing is made to order but surprisingly, most items taste fresh and warm. But not hot. Just take it home and heat it up a bit. Before, 6 cars in line could mean waiting 20 minutes. Now, maybe two minutes per car and the crew is much friendlier and personable. read more

Observation 1: The owners of this McDonald's practice deceptive advertising by way of the following example. The poster on display offering two (2) breakfast sandwiches for $4.00. At the order station to place our order, the crew (apologetically) advised us that there was a time restriction on this offer. The offer ends at 10:30 AM, daily. Observation 2: Arriving then at a substitute choice, it too was met with rejection as we were (politely) advised that this (breakfast) sandwich along with the McGriddles, etc. were only available till 10:30 AM, daily. Which begs the question: Is there a fine print of the displayed poster stating this condition? And, if so, are we then expected to read from a passing car in order to glean this caveat? Why is this restriction not openly displayed at the order station(s) either? Its absence speaks to purposeful deception and poor business ethics. And, what happened to the order station display offer, which represents said McDonald's to be offering an "All Day Breakfast"? Note: Our guess is that it's too expensive to change the signage. Which in itself is disarming. We call this reluctance to advertise "resorting to a dupe campaign." Observation 3: Why NO VETERAN'S DISCOUNT at any of the stores owned by this couple? Our community is flush with locally & corporately owned businesses that honor our military veterans with discounts. Alas, not at this McDonald's nor the Hwy 224, and 82nd Avenue, Happy Valley locations. This is, frankly, insulting to the men & women who have honorably served our country. Our Overall Impression: These owners pay ZERO regards to the very community from which it earns its high profits. There is a noticeable lack of participation in the national ad campaigns that are troubling. There is a greed factor present in how the owners' administer their business as a consequence of the aforementioned issues. The (very nice) young employees behind the counter(s) deserve a better employment experience. These owners conduct their business in a dubious manner and to the detriment of the community. And, finally, why are the owners' names conspicuously absent from the pickup window(s) as is the custom of so many McDonald's in the Portland metro? What are they afraid of? Shame on them! read more

Really great for small kids. There are not a lot of places to take multiple small kids, mine are 2&3. I can just let them run around and play in the securely enclosed space. The space is small enough to keep an eye on them but large enough to get a good workout and really have a good time. The play structure is really cool. My eight-year-old niece likes this place too. If you're looking for easy entertainment for your kids. This place is cheaper than Chucky cheese and much easier to watch them if you don't feel like running around. I feel better about the food choices now That the kids meals include Apple slices and yogurt. read more

FAIL. This by far has been the WORST McDonalds ever. First they refuse to honor coupons, second they get your order wrong and third that place is always "under construction" with ridiculous un-accessible drive thru. If you ask for a manager, some low level employee fake claims to be one and your comments falls on deaf ears. This place does not care. The coupon issue is the worst. Even if it has official McDonalds logo, they refuse to honor it then claim that their owner says we don;t take coupons even from Corporate! What kind of garbage is this!? Very infuriating. We rarely visit McDonalds, but with a gift card in-hand we decided to visit the one up the street today. This review isn't so much about the food, though that holds up to typical McDonalds standards, I'm sure. I wanted to comment because I'm pleasantly surprised by the general experience inside the restaurant. The place has been remodeled recently and has a great atmosphere, nice signage, and very cheerful and helpful staff who were all smiling and seemed to be enjoying work. There is a lot of seating, it's quiet with just a bit of background music, and a nice bar-style table with stools that would be great for using laptops...which leads me to the final bonus: they have free WiFi from AT&T here. :-) Great! Will never go back here on June 28th I went thru this locating and ordered a buttery chicken sandwich meal the chicken tasted like it was sitting under the heater for ever and I said no tomatoes and it definitely had tomatoes. Went back a couple weeks later and they said they couldn't find my name on the list and wouldn't do anything about it . It's not about the money but the principle of it . My son at drive through said drink order was wrong drive through lady said no it's not that's unsweetened. Never apologized gave him another drink. Turns out that other drink was sweet tea again. Went through the drive-through ordered two chicken sandwiches no lettuce. When I got it the wrapper had a little tag on on the side no shred. Open them up and they had lettuce. I was in a hurry so I called the manager just to inform him. Figured he could remind his employees to pay attention. He told me just to brush the lettuce off and it'll be fine. Ha ha Ha what a joke.
