Tried out their new $5 meal deal. It was good and i got drink refilled with no problems. I miss the self service drink area though.

Let me say, I rarely eat at MCDONALD'S. The cute Halloween pails for happy meals returned and I wanted all 3. The touch screen didn't have a selection for Halloween pails so the guy helped me at the counter. Only the green witch one is available this week. I ordered a hamburger one, no onions, 2 tiny fry packs and bottle of water. My dog was in the car and I got her a hamburger no onions. I ate in the car and dog scarfed burger but left the pickle. I know why I rarely eat MCd's as I burped and belched for the longest time in my car. Maybe I should have got the chicken mcnuggets. I got a cute green witch pail for the experience. read more

Terrible absolutely terrible, worst restaurant ever I came very hungry and exited to get a cheese burger and when I came I had to wait a long time for service and the lady was extremely sarcastic as I asked questions about the meal I was getting. When I got my meal, I look at my Oreo McFlurry and it is half empty. Disappointed, I walked to the counter and asked the cashier why my McFlurry was half empty he said "Welp, that's how we do it, I can't help you". Starting to get angry I then asked can I talk to your manager and he went over and said, "This guy wants you". She then had a cook fix it but they only put more McFlurry into my half full one. I went back to my table and started eating my burger which only had 2 pickles in it and the fries being cold I just told my self to forget it. But then I reached for ketchup but there wasn't any. The McDonald's being a very modern building with no self service I had to go up to the counter and ask for everything. They gave me 7 packets of ketchup and I sat down and tried to enjoy my meal but I just couldn't stop thinking about how rude the customer service was. I do not recommend coming here and if there was negative stars I would automatically pick the lowest one. read more

This McDonald's is a shitshow. I went through the drive through and ordered 3 meals. They left off one of my drinks, and when I got home, I discovered I had no fries. And my cheeseburger was basically raw. When I callled them about the missing fries, the person I talked to at first couldn't hear me even though I was practically screaming. Don't go here. read more

A less than average McD experience. I asked for no tomatoes on my grilled chicken sandwich, was given tomatoes. They were out of ketchup. The bathrooms were dingy. The fries were tasty, although it was clear they had been sitting out for awhile. Not a great location experience. read more

At every turn, the service and layout of this Mc Donald's is an absolute joke! The McFlurry was only half full, I didn't get any mayo on my chicken sandwich- just two pickles. No straw for my shake. I had to go up to an empty counter and wait and finally shout into the kitchen to get ketchup, straw, mayo, etc. the counter is absent a fully functioning human being- so ultra modern to the point it makes it more work for me to eat at McDonalds than working there myself. Every person that goes up to the counter is missing something, needing something their order was supposed to include but didn't- coming into the restaurant from the drive thru because they forgot some basic stuff! This Micky D's has a nice layout and is close to the highway. It seems to be kid friendly with lots of activities geared for families. I don't like that they seem overwhelmed by customers and have no real direction at the front counter. They also don't participate in the $1.00 any size drink deal, which really sucks. read more

Staff was great, food was fine. But there was no drink station, no napkins or ketchup out, nothing. The lobby had nothing other then tables and chairs and depressing decor. Whatever Corp McDonalds is trying to do to update their look indoors, they have definitely failed. The new inside look is just plain depressing, the designers dropped the ball on the new look. I miss when McDonald's were fun, now they just look like an old people's home. You raise your prices sky high and then take away all complementary items inside down to the napkins. Sorry to see the poor reviews from others, I've actually had nothing but exceptional experiences here. I haven't been often, maybe only two or three times and only ever through the drive-thru. But the service has always been fantastic! I actually commented to my wife after one visit -- "I love coming here! The guy at the window is ALWAYS so warm and friendly!" My orders have always been correct, the food good and fries always hot and crispy. Maybe I've just had unusual experiences, but I have nothing but praise for the Monticello McDonalds! read more

Well I was definitely the only African-American for miles we told the cashier that took our order we were going to eat in and she still packed our meal to go. I told her I was sorry if I wasn't clear and she said oh no it's OK if you want to eat in. That made us extremely uncomfortable As a good faith gesture one of her coworkers gave us a free shake that was watered down. Needless to say most likely won't go back to this McDonald's. read more

Waited 15 minutes after paying for 2 egg mc muffins! I asked to talk to the manager (red haired lady) did not get her name and requested my money back since my order was still not done! She went to the till and without saying a word credited my card back, but the worst thing is she did not give my receipt back, did not say sorry or anything to me for the long wait. The other women went to the register and started taking others orders while the manager walked away. Horrible service and will never go back to this Mc Donalds! Ive never had such a bad experience!!!! I don't recommend anyone going here since the manager has no manners or curtesy and her staff were obviously untrained or poorly managed! read more

Again our food was messed up from ordering breakfast here. I hate to complain about the elderly, but there is this one older woman who always messes up our orders and whenever she is asked a question she gets this attitude like she is bothered by a simple question. My fiance asked for a peppermint hot chocolate since I have stomach issues with coffee. The woman said,"A peppermint mocha?" and he said,"No, a peppermint hot chocolate." He pulls up to pay and she gives him a receipt, but not his card back. When he asks,"Can I have my card back?" she has this look and attitude like she is upset that my fiance asked for his bank card back. Then when he comes home I took a big gulp of what is supposed to be peppermint hot chocolate and instead it is "PEPPERMINT MOCHA"! I just moved in this area not even a year ago and it seems like I have had issues with this location every month. In my past I was a waitress and also worked retail customer service and all I can say is Management needs to step up their game. It is not the customers fault if someone never worked for a pension or 401k and now that they only have social security and can only find a job a McDonald's, they feel the need to take their displeasure out on us. That was the grossest mcDonalds ever. My mom and I were in the bathroom and an employee walked out of the stall we were waiting for and walked right passed me without washing her hands. And it gets worse, my mom went into the stall and she had pooped and didn't even flush! And then the person in the second stall came out, another employee, didn't wash her hands either!!! This place is a perfect example of the inmates running the joint. The food is the typical below par burgers, but the place needs mgmt help. It's newer but absolutely the dirtiest restaurant we've stepped into for years. We walked around looking for a clean table, and finally left. Walking around saw spilt coke on the seats (not drops but whole drinks), ketchup smeared all over the floor, what looked like a large fry order spilt then stomped into the floor, multiple tables where the top look uncleaned for weeks... and all this while you can hear the inmates laughing and having a good time all the way from the back. It's a joke, go anywhere else. P.S. They also got the order wrong. read more
