We ordered and they told us there would be a slight wait to get our apple pies. We pulled forward and didn't have to wait long. The staff was so kind ...apologized for the wait and threw in 2 chocolate chip cookies for free! The hash browns were either very, very old or they were refried. Anyway, they broke apart when biting into them and no potato inside. I hope I don't get food poisoning. The health department should check into if they keep the food too long. The Burger King in Clearwater felt sorry for me and gave me an order. So much better with tasty potato inside. read more

What an amazing encounter I had today! Just a random Monday at 1pm. These absolute gems of young workers were so impressive I felt compelled to leave a review and I never do this. Three young employees here today took their time helping an elderly man into the restaurant- assisted him in ordering and getting his drink. So pleasant and kind. Makes me have hope for the future! Every time, I kid you not. Every time I go through the drive thru, they screw my order up. To add insult to injury sometimes you'll end up waiting 20 minutes just to figure out they can't get your order right, much less make a sandwich properly. Review part 2: they are still slow, and extremely inefficient given how many people they have on staff. If I have to wait 5 minutes in the drive thru at the kiosk for you to take my order when you could be making it you have issues. Wasting time and money. read more

It's a fast food chain, so expectations are low, but wow! this place really went far under the low bar! It was filthy, concerningly so. There was a huge pile of dirt and garbage, next to the garbage, with a broom and pan near it, but all sitting out in the open. The bathroom had no toilet paper and was dirty. The tables were disgusting, seriously, it was bad. The service...oh boy. The guy at the counter made no eye contact and mumbled everything. The soda machine was all flat, the ice not working, apparently the shake machine was down. My mom asked for sauce for her nuggets, and he gestured towards the back, as if telling her to go back to kitchen and get it herself! Seriously, the level of service was laughable. Anyways, we stayed because we were driving through and this was our one food stop, we really didn't want to put the baby back in the car seat to go somewhere else (parents, you get it!), but yeesh, it was bad. The service here is terrible. The food is good, but holy hell do they need better employees. Mostly every time you go here, you have to wait at least 15 minutes for your food. Sometimes you never even get your food at all, because the last two times that I've been here, I couldn't get my food. The first time the lobby was closed because of "short staff". The second time (which was today), they could not take any orders because the register was broken. I am never giving this place my business again, which kind of sucks because there used to be no problems with this place, and now we have to drive all the way to Elk River if we want to eat at Burger King. EDIT: I tried this place one more time. The food was good as usual, but it took forever to get our food and this one cashier lady (I wish I knew her name) did not even know how to use the cash register. I don't think it's her fault. I think the manager is at fault here. He/she must do some pretty bad training for their employees. read more

Im here at 9 am on a Saturday while driving through Monticello. Use the bathroom after ordering and it looks like it hasn't been cleaned for days. Get my order, but no coffee as it hasn't been brewed yet. I then sit down to eat (while I wait for coffee) and they have the Air Conditioning on while it is 45 degrees out! First visit was wonderful. I just went back the second time and it was totally disappointing. The person in front of me in the drive thru left the line. That wasn't a good indication of what's going on. I ordered a Texas whopper. When I got home I received a double chess burger. This restaurant wasn't really busy at all. I visit this BK about once a month, usually using the drive-thru. Most of the time, service is good and the food is what I expect. This week there was a long line of cars, so I went in, hoping to be served more quickly. It was noon, and there were two orders ahead of me. Only one register was open, and the worker would take one order, then wander around, check on the drive-thru line (there should have been someone else taking and giving out orders) fill a few fries, watch what was going on in the kitchen, etc, before getting back to the counter to take the next order. She was taking money, putting her hand through her hair, even rubbing her face, and also filling fries! Another worker who was filling orders seemed very efficient, and the kids in the kitchen were working hard. It really seemed as though this one counter worker was just out of place. The manager needs to counsel her. read more

My sister in law and I came through the drive thru. The guy working the window had an absolutely disgustingly rude attitude. We drove away with the wrong order and items missing that we paid for. I walked in and was completely disappointed, this place had garbage all over the floor. The cooking station a some sort of spilled drink with the cup still laying on the ground, fries were all over the counter along with a half eaten hamburger..I went to the bathroom while I was waiting and there was toilet paper and poop all over! Looked like no one had even flushed the toilet in a week. The drink station was as well disgusting, ketchup all over spilled pop and straw rappers all over. Good shoved under the heaters and the person who made my food also served me which is a bit concerning considering there was about 5 people there, and I know that those are two different jobs. if i could give this place 0 stars, i would.. completely disgusting. dirty tables so there was barely anywhere to sit. when i was ordering i couldnt stand still because there were flys buzzing around my head and when i got my coffee there was a fuit fly in it. not to mention how cold and bland all the food was and how rude the employees were. i 100% do not recomend anyone go to this restraunt. extremely dissapointing! read more
