I never write negative reviews but this place compelled me to. First off, the workers will throw stuff around and give you an attitude every time for no reason like they forget they are on the clock or something. Secondly if the foods not loaded up in their bin they wont make a effort to get it for you so don't expect to get everything you want here, you're only spending 16 dollars for a burrito. Anyways the smell is foul in this establishment like a dirty old food smell, the tables are dirty their stations are dirty. Only thing they should do is find a new manager or owner who has a work ethic to fix this. Monticello chipotle never fails to disappoint! Service is OK. There is a man that works there that does a fabulous job but for the most part every other time I've been there just not a great experience. Everyone's kind of standing around, does not seem like they want to be there, the last two times I have been there they ran out of flavor in their fountain machines- just doesn't seem like anyone really pays attention. The female that is in charge just does not have a great attitude/seem like a motivator. I think if they had a more positive leader maybe that would change the environment. The communication exchange I have witnessed while being there on a few occasions definitely gives off that vibe. Kind of crazy how often owners, of any business, are so not aware of what is going on within their own company. Surprised because this is a new restaurant in Monticello. Wish I had better things to say I do understand that working for any food chain type restaurant probably isn't the most intriguing job, but I can get better service just about anywhere else in Monticello. read more

This is mine and my wife's local Chipotle and unfortunately the service is terrible. The manager lady there has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen and I have personally worked for fast food chains for years. The food is okay- very hit or miss. We will be eating at Bluestone Grill from now on or going to a Chipotle in a nearby city if we are in the mood to drive a bit. This Chipotle is half a mile from where we live. Very unfortunate. Strong recommendation to improve this location. 1- Get a good manager or at least an average one that is an overall net positive to the location. 2- Get more friendly employees. Some working there are good but I don't know their names so you will have to sift through to find the good ones and get rid of the bad ones that do not want to work for the money. Would love to come back in a few months and update my review to see if anything changes. read more

The service is a joke. Don't place your order online, go inside and make sure you watch them make it. You have to babysit the employees to get your money's worth. You're better off taking the 20 minutes and going to the buffalo location. read more

So filthy in the kitchen and on the front food counter that we left before even ordering.

Workers are always rude. They have messed up my order on multiple occasions when I am the only one in there. I always feel rushed or like I am bugging them. They never have my food ready on time and they make me feel like the inconvenience. This has all happened on multiple occasions. Food containers are also always dirty because they are careless making the food. read more

I go here often as this my local Chipotle. My orders have been messed up several times and today I ordered a burrito with 10 options inside. I received a burrito with only rice, beans, and the incorrect meat. My boyfriends order was also completely wrong. The guy whom helped me today on 5/5/2025 at 5:20 had dirty blonde hair and a non friendly attitude. In addition, in the past the staff at this specific location I have seen on there phones leaning over the counter as I've waited at the drive-through window for my order. I think this location has a lot of potential if there was new staff or teenagers who put more care into their work.
