Just tried the new garlic fries and they were not up-to par. We asked if they would be fresh and I was told yes, but when I got my fries they were not fresh and were super soggy and cold. I asked them to give me fresh fries and I was told by the manager that they were fresh but that the sauce will always make them soggy and that they will always come out soggy. Which I found to be ridiculous. Advertising for them should say that they will come out soggy regardless. Anywho, I asked him to just give me fresh fries and the sauce on the side. He refused because he said that he couldn't do that. I insisted and I just asked for the sauce on the side. He then went to saying that he didn't have a container to put the sauce and I then asked him to just put it in a cup. Well, long story short he gave me the sauce on the side and the fresh fries. I've had a fairly pleasant experience at this McDonald's until today. When I pulled up to receive my two iced coffees: vanilla and caramel, she handed me two caramel coffees. When I corrected her, she rolled her eyes but made the coffee. When I tasted the coffee, it was bland, bitter, and watery. I honestly wanted to go back to the drive thru and splash that nasty-ass coffee on her face and watch her poorly drawn-in eyebrows to drip off her bitch ass face. This place is very unfriendly and pushy staff. I brought my small well trained dog (all my dog was doing was sitting) in to this place. As soon as I came in they looked at my dog and didn't say anything then one of the working yelling out order numbers looked at me and yelled, "YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT DOG IN HERE!" So I politely apologized and left to put my dog into my car with someone. I came back and tried to order but they were very rude while taking me order. They don't have any no dogs, exempt service dogs inside signs on the door or around the door. They could have said, "sir we unfortunately we can't have you in here with your pet unless they are a service animal." I would have been fine with that. read more

At this place management is really rude on top of it the fries are stale and of course the fillet o fish is even more stale. People don't care about the customers here they just want you to leave. The franchise owner has all three locations in this tiny town so I guess he can price however he chooses. The same Egg McMuffin is $5,99 in Gilroy and $3.00 in the Pocket area of Sacramento. Apparently I'm leaving the first 5 star review. I stayed away from this location for a while because of all the bad reviews, but I finally decided to give it a try and paid particular attention to the service. Well I think the negative reviews did their job to bump up the service here. I have now been here three times and can say that I have experienced good and friendly service every time. They did lose my order the second time. When I finally asked about it they apologized for the mistake and hand delivered my meal to my table with a larger portion than I had ordered. I have also not had a problem with anyone not speaking or understanding English well. Whatever problems this location had in the past seem to be gone, as of September 2015 anyway. Simply put: really awful management. She really does need to be fired. I don't want to see anyone out of a job, but this lady doesn't need to be in charge of anything that might be dealing with the public. I thought It was just me, until I actually saw her dealing with other people when they had an issue. She cannot handle any kind of problems. I watched her completely fall apart when they were busy, and I watched her screw up more than a few customer complaints. (I was in there waiting for someone, and decided just to observe) She would actually argue with people, and say the dumbest things to them. She was making things so much worse. The owner needs to get a grip on this, it is really bad representation of the company. Need to improve on customer service. People in drive thru just give you your food and slams the window in your face. They give you no napkins or ketchup. So then you have to wait there until they come back and when they do they give you one ketchup packet and one napkin with a very mean look. After being in the drive-thru a few days ago and seeing *multiple* customers have melt-downs, I really truly want to cut this location and their staff some slack and feel bad for them having to deal with borderline-violent customers (more on that in a moment). But a big part of customer frustrations (even if customers occasionally take it way too far) is that this location is super-super-duper slow. I've been in this location numerous times over the years. There used to be "dead" times where there weren't many customers. Unfortunately, there are simply too many people living in Morgan Hill now, so there's a line for EVERYTHING, including every fast food restaurant, and it happens *all the time.* 3:30 pm on a weekday? Lines. 11pm? Lines. Anyway, there's nothing especially exciting about this location's failing. They're just really slow, whether you go inside to order or go through the drive-thru. I cut them some slack due to the booming population in town. But I had to wait in a drive-thru for over 20 minutes for a friggin' coffee "Frappe." That's insane. And of course, once you're in the middle of the line at the drive-thru, there's no backing out and bailing. Or is there? Which leads me to the epic situation from last weekend: Slow drive-thru line as usual, but kind of par for the course. A good 7-8 minutes to get to second place in line. We get stuck behind a lady who clearly is meticulously checking her order, down to unwrapping every single sandwich and checking for something. It's never a good sign when you see a customer reach out from their door and angrily knock on the window and then hand stuff *back* inside to the staff. Several more minutes wait. They hand the lady a new bag of food. She once again pulls everything out and checks everything. Clearly they're messing something up; probably they're not giving her cheese that she asked for, or putting cheese on when she said "no cheese", something like that. How would I guess that? An even worse sign is when you watch a customer hold out the sandwich and open it up, holding one half in each hand, to specifically *show* the staff what's wrong with the sandwich. At this point we're nearing 20 minutes. Things get worse when some older biker dude with a three-foot-long beard and a Harley tanktop sitting maybe two or three cars back gets out of his car and angrily knocks on Window #1 (the one where you pay), screaming about the wait. Meanwhile, the lady at the front is still yelling about her cheese or whatever the problem is. Part of me feels like if the dude is so angry, why doesn't he take it up with the cheese lady? But then I realize that's a bad idea; I don't want to burn an hour today giving a statement to police. These people were inappropriately angry (both cursing and seemingly one moment away from hitting someone), but the guy did correctly point out that the staff should have asked this lady to "pull around" and wait for her new stuff to let the now seemingly *dozen* cars through, including me and my now surely melted Frappe. To be fair though, they may well have asked the lady to pull around and she said no. Meanwhile, biker dude literally drives his truck over the island/median to get out of line and squeals his tires speeding away. They probably were dealing as well as they could with an angry customer. But the fact that things were *already* slowed down meant there was certainly no room for error when some unruly customer stalls everyone. I'm giving this location two stars instead of one because when I pulled up to get my partially melted Frappe, they were not as frazzled or upset as they probably should have been for having been abused by the angry cheese lady. But overall, plan to wait a long time for your order here more times than not. Is it worth overpriced fast food that will kill you if you *also* have to wait a half hour for it? read more

I went to this Mc Donalds today and when I got my food, there were no straws for our drinks and I seen this happen to my other friends the day before yesterday! Plus My food was cold, and when I asked for extra ranch, beside the one they gave me because there was 2 people eating not just 1 and she only gave me 1! so I had a total of 2, 2 is not extra. Plus I have repeatedly had to check my bag to make sure they didn't forget anything, which they always do! read more

If you are looking to grab something quick to eat this is NOT the place to go. The employees painfully take there time to get your food to you even when there is an obviously long line waiting to just order. The manager was rude to me when I had waited 30 minutes just for a smoothie. I waited patiently, then made my way to the counter after 20 minutes of the wait, waited for someone to ask what they could help me with and after getting several looks from the employees and still no service I finally had to ask for help my self to receive my order with atitude from the manager. This is probably the best operated McDonald's within thirty miles because of its' very demanding regular clientele. The service is fast, accurate and friendly, the staff even comes to your table to remind you that your order is ready. You don't even need to look at the pending order screen, it's only visible from two tables anyway. The place is relatively clean despite all the rowdy and messy customers that come through here. The morning crowd is a friendly, multicultural mix of colorful characters who would gladly offer their expert opinions on politics, history, farming, European, Asian and South American culture, health care system reform, international relations, the Civil War, WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan health/ wellness and automotive repairs to anyone within earshot. They are also a great source for a) current and ongoing meal deals in town b) local garage sales and c) local employment opportunities. They also watch the parking lot like hawks and can serve as valuable eyewitnesses in case someone drives away after hitting your car. They can also translate documents in Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Tagalog for you. The downsides: Unfortunately, the clean facilities, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in this place attracts a lot of traumatized, troubled souls who more often than not, have loud breakdowns in the store. Fortunately, the local PD know the place and often comes within minutes of every call. Staff turnover is pretty high. The light bulb over the table nearest to the bathroom always shorts out and the people here have given up replacing it. Highly recommended. read more

this mcdonalds is the worse mcdonalds ever! their customer service is poor they are rude and they dont even care about their customers. I went in today and i had to stand there for 5 minutes before anyone even noticed me and once they finally did i had repeatedly told the lady no mayonaise so when i got my order she completely ignored that and there was globs of mayo. normally this wouldnt be that big of a deal but im highly allergic to it and i couldve have been severely sick. so when i brought back my sandwich the lady gave me a dirty look. then, my mom said her hamburger tasted old and when she brought it back she asked to speak to the manager and the manager didnt even care. when we went to sit back down i overheard the maager talking to her employees ( in spanish) about me and since i can understand spanish i completely heard her bad mouthing us and telling them we were just bitches if you want to be treated nicely dont ever go to this mcdonalds! read more
